Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX and the surrounding area are to be closed off by electric fencing. All people or vehicles not associated with the Foundation are to be blocked from going near, in, through, or above the area. Any trespassers are to be administered Class-C Amnestics if necessary. Signal jammers should be placed in strategic positions around SCP-XXXX to ensure no civilians receive radio signals from SCP-XXXX-A.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a tree of unknown species located in north-western Greenland at ████°N and ████°W. SCP-XXXX has pure white leaves and black roots, trunk, bark and branches. SCP-XXXX does not undergo any physical changes except for its fruit growth process.
SCP-XXXX's fruit growth process takes 24 months, and begins and ends at 00:00 on March 1. At the beginning of the process, black fruits will begin to grow from SCP-XXXX's branches, reaching their full growth 12 months later. At this time, they will detach from SCP-XXXX and fall to the ground. Once on the ground, these fruits will be classified as instances of SCP-XXXX-A and will remain on the ground for 8 months. Their time on the ground is known as the "incubation" stage. At 00:00 on November 1, SCP-XXXX-A instances will enter their "ascent" stage, during which they will "fall" upwards over the course of the day. These instances will reach the Kármán line1 at 00:00 on November 2, at which point they stay in a perfect stationary orbit above the point from which they ascended from. SCP-XXXX-A instances will remain in this stage until 00:00 on December 1, at which point they will begin transmitting high-frequency radio waves which are yet to be decoded [[See Addendum XXXX-A-1]] until 00:00 on February 28. After this point they will enter their "descent" stage, during which they will descend back to their point of ascension in 24 hours, at approximately 4.17 kilometres per hour. Despite their low velocity, when they impact the ground at 00:00 on March 1, they will explode, spraying a black fluid over a large area. This fluid is classified as SCP-XXXX-B. This is the end of SCP-XXXX's fruit growth process.
If either of the two years within SCP-XXXX's fruit growth process are leap years, the process will not occur until both years have passed completely.
Testing of SCP-XXXX-A's "juice" has not shown any anomalous properties. Humans consuming SCP-XXXX-B generally describe it as having a highly pleasing taste.
Addendum XXXX-1: Research Team GRN-XXXX deciphered SCP-XXXX-A's radio transmissions on 21/04/09.
Hello. You have found us. We are the last of our kind. We came here long ago. Please let us live.
Addendum XXXX-2: It still remains unclear whether or not SCP-XXXX and/or SCP-XXXX-A is sentient. Pending further research.
Incident Report XXXX-1: On 01/11/██, 2 years after a period of consumption testing of SCP-XXXX-B, all living personnel who consumed the liquid began to ascend to the Kármán line at the same speed as instances of SCP-XXXX-A. This incident occurred in synchronisation with the ascent stage of SCP-XXXX-A instances. On 27/02/██, the affected personnel descended in time with SCP-XXXX-A's descent stage. Further analysis revealed that whilst in their stationary orbit, affected personnel emitted the same radio signals as SCP-XXXX-A instances. No casualties or ill effects; subjects were unaffected by lack of oxygen or the vacuum that they were present in.
Interview Log XXXX-1: On ██/██/██, a member of the research team affected by Incident XXXX-1 was interviewed in order to discover any affects of the incident.
[BEGIN LOG]
Researcher Edwards: So, Thomas, tell us about your experience during Incident XXXX-1.
Assistant Researcher Thomas: Well, one minute I was sleeping, next minute I woke up and started floating through the roof.
Researcher Edwards: What was your initial reaction to your ascent?
Assistant Researcher Thomas: I started freaking out, of course.
Researcher Edwards: And what else happened during your ascent?
Assistant Researcher Thomas: Well I kept freaking out for a while, until I realised I could still breathe fine at such high altitudes.
Researcher Edwards: What were you thinking when you reached the Kármán line and stopped ascending?
Assistant Researcher Thomas: I'd decided that I should probably ignore the weird happenings and just use it as an opportunity to take a good look at the night sky.
Researcher Edwards: Interesting… Were you aware you were emitting radio waves? Did you feel anything?
Assistant Researcher Thomas: I was completely unaware, I did feel a slight buzzing sensation in my gut, but I assumed it was just my body freaking out.
Researcher Edwards: And finally, your descent?.
Assistant Researcher Thomas: Eventually I realised I was going down. I panicked, thinking I was going to explode like the fruits. When I hit the ground and didn't die, I just went with the security guys waiting for me.
Researcher Edwards: A very unique and interesting experience, for sure. I think we're done here.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 0.5m x 0.5m x 0.5m containment cell within Site-73. During testing, any subjects showing any dangerous reactions to the effects of SCP-XXXX-A are to be rendered unconscious through the usage of Anaesthetics.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an opened aluminium soda can of unknown brand, coloured in a blue and white checker pattern with the words "MANTIS SHRIMP FORMULA" branded on the main body. SCP-XXXX shows no anomalous properties other than its synthesis of SCP-XXXX-A when it is not entirely full.
SCP-XXXX-A is sweet, watery liquid of a light pink colour. Testing has not correlated SCP-XXXX-A to any known substance. When SCP-XXXX-A is consumed by a human, they will spontaneously gain the ability to see four times the amount of colours that a human would see under normal circumstances. This allows the subject to see the world in a similar fashion to a Mantis Shrimp (Stomatopoda).
The effects of SCP-XXXX-A will last for around 2 hours, after which the subject will be blinded for a short amount of time, after which their vision will return to normal.

Special Containment Procedures:
Description: SCP-XXXX is an uninhabited house located in rural ████ County, South Dakota. Any human whom spends excessive time thinking about SCP-XXXX will become convinced that SCP-XXXX is their home, or where they belong. The "victim" will henceforth be designated SCP-XXXX-1. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 will attempt to enter SCP-XXXX by any means necessary, including methods that would bring harm to themselves.
If SCP-XXXX-1 is able to enter SCP-XXXX, all entrances to it are blocked off and current testing has failed to discover a way to open said entrances once SCP-XXXX-1 has entered. It is currently unknown what happens during this time.
