Special Containment Procedures: Due to Entity’s location and Nature, physical means of containment is impossible. Implanted Foundation agents within major Airtraffic Control Towers are to redirect flights to minimize contact between SCP- 5215 and the populous, should anyone outside the foundation witness the entity they are to be given Amnestics, if the redirections fail Foundation Agents have been allowed permission to give warning shots to redirect the entity.
Description: SCP-5215 is a Caucasian male approximately 1.80 Meters with a white receding hairline with a long goatee wearing Victorian Era clothing within a hot air balloon itself has a standard length and height of Hot Air Balloons of the time, the fabric itself has a green and white checkered decal and appears to be impervious to any type of damage. The Object has what appears to be a 17th Century Musket adapted for long range firing mounted to the railing of the Gondola. To date SCP-XXXX has recorded firing said musket a total of four times, all in self-defense [See Addendum 1A for Full List of Self-Defense Incidents].The Entity itself seems to break all forms of psychics as it can reach speeds of Mach 4 to [DATA EXPUNGED], SCP-5215 on multiple occasions has stopped immediately and changed its direction with no signs of inertia from speeds that would easily killed a regular human. On multiple occasions it has been seen doing maneuvers such as Barrel Rolls, Cobra Turns, Chandelles and even flying upside down; how this happens is still under investigation. In all reports of contact with SCP-5215 there is one similarity, the entity appears to be warning all he contacts even going as far as throwing notes out of the Gondola with the notes all having one simple phrase "Run while you still can!".
Addendum1A: Zharkovitz, Russia 1916: One of the first solid confirmation of the existence of SCP- 5215 was from a Russian Reconnaissance Airship the “Strigofsky”, surviving notes from the crew explain how the airship was following rumours of a strange balloon that seemingly moved at impossible speeds. In the personal journal of Captain Demintinov he explains During the third week of their hunt they found SCP-5215, when the crew opened fire at the entity with the Anomaly firing back with just one shot, within minutes after the firefight the airship gunners were all found to be killed by SCP-XXXX with all having bullet wounds in the same location.
Nauru Islands, Under Imperial Japanese occupation 1942: Records of the Imperial Japanese Navy had reports of a possible enemy combatant nearing the Island, the report further goes into detail how Admiral Ashimura sent a squadron of A6 Zero Fighters to destroy the entity. During the dogfight SCP-5215 was seen going into the sky where there was a heavy cloud cover with the surviving fighters in hot pursuit. Admiral Ashimura concluded the report that the remaining Zeros fell from the clouds in burning wrecks with SCP-5215 stopping mid-air then immediately heading west.
Harran, Turkey 1972: This incident was what made SCP-5215 presence known to the Foundation. During the night of [REDACTED] the Turkish Air Force was alerted to an UFO going speeds and changing directions in ways that were seemingly impossible. Embedded agents within the Turkish Government and Air Force were quick to send fighter jets to confirm if it was anomalous in origin. After confirmation the fighter jet pilots were discovered to be double agents working for the GOC and attempted to terminate SCP-5215, after a vicious dogfight only one of the squad of seven fighter jets survived and the pilot taken into foundation custody for interrogation.
