Special Containment Procedures: Keep in a dark, enclosed space. Do not allow bright light to enter the container. It does not appear to need sustenance (See Data Logs below.)
Description: The anomaly's physical description is unknown, as it conceals itself in shadows. If its shadow is dispelled by a bright light, it will be nowhere to be found and there will be a large hole in the wall of its container where it had been. It causes confusion in any humans who are near it. It appears to feed on the electricity from neural transmissions, and it can kill by causing its target's brain to cease functioning.
Data Logs:
*Day 1*: Acquired new specimen. It has been assigned the number SCP-XXXX. It does not respond to the foods we have placed in front of it.
*Day 2*: Light was shined on the creature. It had escaped confinement. It was later found in the city by passersby who described a sensation of confusion upon approaching the shadows where it hid.
*Day 5*: Attempted to feed it a live chicken. The shadow the creature was hiding in seemed to elongate and consume the chicken. The chicken was found dead with no visible marks on its body.
*Day 10*: Placed a live chicken with machines monitoring its vitals in the enclosure. Same as before; It appears to kill through the absorbtion of electricity from the brain.
