Special Containment Procedures: Due to the discovery being very recent, the procedures are yet to be evaluated. As for now, it is to be contained within a 4 m x 5 m x 10 m hermetic reinforced [REDACTED] chamber in Research Sector-████ at Site-██. Physical contact with SCP-XXXX in its base form is forbidden.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an intelligent entity of parasitic behavior that is only able to communicate through a human body. It resembles a dense smoke cloud of unknown composition. SCP-XXXX enters a host through the mouth or nose, traveling along the respiratory system. While within a host, SCP-XXXX is undetectable by modern medical scanning technologies. Host organisms lose all agency and will enter a trance state only terminated by death of the host or by SCP-XXXX’s choice to depart. As of this writing, the only person to survive possession by SCP-XXXX is Dr. Yessica Brown, who retained no memory of the period while under SCP-XXXX’s control.
If the host is killed, SCP-XXXX will depart the host’s body through the nostrils and mouth. When SCP-XXXX is in its pure form, the entity will not react to any physical stimulus.

SCP-SCP-XXXX has shown to have a wide variety of abilities, the main being changing the physical state of the possessed body. It can execute all the processes known in actuality: melting, solidification, sublimation, deposition, condensation, and evaporation. However, during these processes, the body of the host will lose its original appearance and will turn into a black substance, apparently fusing with the mass of SCP-XXXX. The entity has also proven to be able to manipulate at will the nervous system of any being that once made physical contact with it, even if contact is not being made at the moment of its influence. This suggests the creation of some kind of link between SCP-XXXX and its victims. It is apparent, however, that its abilities only work when the subjects are within a radius of 20m. The induced sensations registered so far are: pain (broken bones, migraines, burns, and stabs), weakening (muscular fatigue, exhaustion), paralysis, and even the inability to feel anything at all. It should be noted that despite experiencing any of the sensations listed above, the bodies of the affected subjects were not injured during the interaction.

Addendum XXXX-D: First interview
A few days after the incident, an interview with SCP-XXXX (in possession of Dr. Yessica Brown's body) was programmed, and a microphone and a camera were installed in the northern corner of the chamber. SCP-XXXX refused to cooperate until Dr. Edward left the room. After that, it had a pretty engaging conversation with Dr. ██████ ████████, who for moments almost forgot who he was talking to.
