SCP-IDK

SCP-5322
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures:
Revised December 18, (REDACTED)

As of November 12, (REDACTED), no further testing is to take place under orders from O5 Council.

Any abnormal behavior of Site (REDACTED) staff is to be reported to Dr.(REDACTED) and offsite command center (REDACTED) immediately.

Tests involving SCP-5322 require authorization of at least two Level 4 personnel. Excluding test subjects, all living or sentient entities must maintain a minimum distance of thirteen meters from SCP-5322.

SCP-5322 is to be contained in an airtight cell with a length and width of 5 meters each and a height of 2.5 meters. The interior walls, ceiling, and floor of the chamber are to be constructed of AR500 grade ballistic-rated steel 6 centimeters thick. The walls are to be externally reinforced with a layer of carbon steel I-beams, hardened concrete, and rebar. The roof of the chamber is to be fitted with four gas ventilation pipes. The chamber door is to be constructed to the same specifications as the walls. It is to be hydraulically operated, outward opening, and should contain 8 bolts that extend 0.25 meters into the surrounding wall. The chamber walls and floor must be connected to a 650,000 farad supercapacitor bank able to deliver a sustained 75,000 volt charge for a minimum of 5 minutes. Walls, floor, and ceiling are to be equipped with vibration sensing equipment.

Outer, secondary containment should consist of an airtight chamber with lateral dimensions of 15 meters each and a height of 5 meters. Walls should consist of 0.5 meter thick reinforced concrete along with a 2 cm thick inner titanium layer. Entry to the chamber is through a heavy-containment airlock. Chamber is to be pressurised to 2 ATM with pure nitrogen. Chamber is to be equipped with ventilation and purification system capable of completely purging both primary and secondary containment cells of biological and chemical agents within 15 seconds.
Secondary chamber is to be monitored by a thermal camera in each corner, along with audio recording equipment.

All controls for doors, cameras, and ventilation are to be kept in a separate control room 25 meters away from the containment chamber. No personnel who have been directly exposed to SCP-5322 are to be allowed into the control room.

Any warping or breakage of any equipment must be reported to a senior research member or level three (3) security personnel immediately.
Any agitation observed in SCP-5322 must be reported to a senior research member or level three (3) security personnel immediately.

Procedure Theta-21 must be executed every 48 hours.underline text

Procedure Theta-21
D-Class subject between the ages of 20-35 and of sound psychological health will be introduced into secondary containment chamber, equipped with oxygen mask.
If D-Class begins to show attraction towards SCP-IDK's primary containment chamber, vault door is to be opened to allow D-Class entry to chamber. Primary chamber is to be sealed behind D-Class.
If D-Class exhibits no apparent abnormal behavior or does not proceed towards primary containment chamber, secondary chamber is to be opened and D-Class is to be terminated immediately via small-arms fire or other ranged method.

(This following section will be limited to Level 3 or above access)

In the occurrence of a breach event, supercapacitors are to be activated immediately and CS-X gas (See Chemical Data Sheet 5322-G-21) is to be introduced into both primary and secondary containment chambers. MTF 41-C “Three-Dicked Pig” forces are to immediately secure subject and make any necessary repairs to containment chamber. MTF operators are to be equipped with Class IV respirators and thermal goggles before engaging subject. MTF is to neutralize subject with modified Taser XREP shotgun rounds and 40mm CS-X gas cartridges. No lethal weapons are to be used or carried by MTF forces when engaging SCP-5322. Any 5322-B or 5322-C instances observed are to be neutralized via nonlethal weaponry and terminated once SCP-5322 is successfully contained.

If MTF personnel cannot confirm neutralization within 45 minutes of breach event, on-site nuclear warhead is to be armed and detonated. MTF 41-C ground forces equipped with thermal viewing headsets and NBC gear are to locate and secure subject as soon as possible. If still alive, subject is to be transferred to secondary containment site (REDACTED) via Protocol Augusta-12.

Description:
SCP-5322 is an intangible entity with extremely powerful telepathic abilities. It operates by taking up residence inside of a human host, designated as SCP-5322-A. It will not transfer into any other animal or a human in poor mental or physical health. When in a host it possesses several main abilities:

It has a direct memetic influence over any human directly viewing it. Within 30 seconds of viewing, a human will be transformed into a SCP-5322-B or SCP-5322-C instance. This effect has an effectively unlimited range, working through live camera feeds or long-range optics. The effect does not work through thermal cameras or viewers.
It has a proximity-based mind influencing ability. At around thirteen meters distance, a human will begin to feel the effects of the ability, with the intensity strengthening as the distance to SCP-5322 decreases. Humans in this radius will become SCP-5322-B/C instances within 5 seconds to 2 minutes, depending on proximity.
It has the ability to detect a human’s intention to harm or kill it or its host, and the ability to cause its would-be killer or killers severe mental disruption, resulting in fatal seizures or a “rage state” in which the affected human attacks bystanders with no regard to their own health.

It is unknown how these abilities function. SCP-5322 is currently considered too hazardous to conduct further tests on, due to its difficulty of containment and ability to rapidly spread its influence, potentially resulting in an RK-class event.

SCP-5322-A is the designation given to the human body that SCP-5322 resides in and has direct control over at any given time. There can only be one SCP-5322-A instance at a time. SCP-5322 causes its host’s brain to rapidly deteriorate and die within 48-72 hours of being infested. Upon its host’s death, SCP-5322 will seek out the nearest healthy human to infest.

SCP-5322-B is the designation given to humans that SCP-5322 has taken mental control over and uses as tools.SCP-5322-B instances are clearly differentiated from the SCP-5322-A instance due to their lack of mind-influencing abilities. SCP-5322-B instances have superhuman speed and strength. Due to this, SCP-5322-B instances require a much higher level of nutrition than humans. There is no known limit to the amount of SCP-5322 instances that may exist at a given time. The intelligence of SCP-5322-B instances directly correlates to the number of instances that exist. They act as a hive mind under the control of SCP-5322, being able to act as direct extensions of SCP-5322’s will. No more than 2 SCP-5322-B instances are to exist at any time during testing. (See Incident Log 5322-Omega) (Reword this shite)

SCP-5322-C is the designation given to humans under SCP-5322 control that are used as food. They are easily distinguishable from 5322-B instances due to their lethargic nature and apparent lack of intelligence. When an SCP-5322-C instance is created, it will walk to a “storage area”, which is usually an enclosed space with a breathable atmosphere and a temperature between 50 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Upon reaching this area, it will go into a coma-like state in which it expends almost no energy. Its body temperature, breathing rate, and heart rate drop significantly to the point which they can easily be confused for corpses. No attempts to rouse 5322-C instances from this state have been successful. Multiple SCP-5322-C instances will attempt to store themselves in as efficient a manner as possible, often stacking themselves prone on top of one another. SCP-5322-B instances will consume the -C instances as a nutrition source. Examination of SCP-5322-C corpses post-consumption show that the 5322-B instances completely consume some parts of the body, while others are left untouched. In every case observed, the brain and spinal cord have been consumed completely, but the heart, lungs, and kidneys have been untouched.

Researcher’s Log: Upon learning of the capabilities of SCP-5322, a request was made to the O5 Council to terminate the subject. Request was approved after a review period of (redacted) days. Termination attempt records follow.

Attempt 1:
Method: 9mm handgun, close range

Log:
D-Class 3412-B was armed with a 9mm Glock-17 handgun and one full magazine (17-round.) Subject was the introduced into secondary chamber. Strict instructions were given not to load handgun until orders were relayed.

Audio Transcript

Dr.(Redacted): “Move forward into the chamber. Any failure to comply with instructions will result in your termination. You may now load the handgun.”

D-Class: “Yeah, whatever. Just open the damn thing and let’s get this shit over with.”

D-Class loads and raises handgun, moving towards primary containment entrance

Dr: “Open the chamber!”

Upon entering the chamber, D-Class immediately shows signs of stress. He backs away towards the wall of the secondary containment chamber, lowering the gun. He leans against the wall, shaking.

Dr: “D-Class, fire on the subject now!”

D-Class: “No! Make them….stop! I can’t… (unintelligible)”

D-Class then begins screaming. He fires the handgun randomly around the chamber, damaging one of the thermal cameras. He then self-terminates with three rounds to the chest.

Test Failed

Attempt 2:
Method: .338 Lapua Magnum rifle, fired from 500 meters

Log: All personnel evacuated from containment facility. Doors were opened to allow SCP a clear path to exit the facility. Containment chamber doors remained sealed until testing began. MTF 41-C 4-man scout squad stationed on hill approximately 500 meters away from facility exit. Research staff remained out of visual range of facility entrance, remaining in contact with MTF via radio.

Audio Log

Dr.: ”Do you have visual confirmation of the target?”

41-C: “Not yet, sir. Permission to fire upon contact?”

Dr.: “Negative. Wait for my command.

41-C: “Yes sir… I think I may see it….targ…”

Radio transmission abruptly cuts out

Dr.: “41-C, repeat last. Sounds like the radio glitched out.”

Dr.: “41-C, come in.”

41-C sniper suddenly begins convulsing. Other unit members attempt to deliver first aid but attacked by the sniper. Sniper eliminates three MTF operators in hand-to-hand combat before opening fire on research staff with rifle. One research assistant sustains a cranial gunshot wound, resulting in immediate death. Dr. (REDACTED) receives a gunshot wound to the left forearm, later making a full recovery.

*NOTE* 41-C reserve squads immediately engaged and eliminated MTF 41-C sniper. Squad leader noted in an after-action report that the operator seemed unusually durable, taking multiple shots to the torso, neck, and head before being incapacitated. Examination of MTF 41-C’s victims revealed multiple wounds from MTF 41-C’s standard-issue combat knife as well as severe bite wounds to the necks and faces of the operators. Two of the operators declared dead on the scene from blood loss, while the third was in critical condition. He was later treated at (REDACTED.) See Addendum 1-A.
Dr. (REDACTED) was treated for blood loss, later making a full recovery.

SCP-5322 standard containment procedures were then enacted. SCP was successfully recontained, although two casualties resulted from the containment procedure. Termination testing temporarily halted under orders from Dr. (REDACTED).

Test Failed

Attempt 3:

The results of the first two tests further confirm our theory that SCP-5322 influences its victims through visual means. It appears to have a form of memetic influence over people who view it directly, regardless of distance or if viewed directly, similar to the phenomenon of SCP-096. The primary difference is that photos of SCP-5322 can be viewed relatively safely, with only minor psychological effects, such as a feeling of dread, nightmares, and trouble sleeping for a period afterward.

On July 5, (REDACTED), further termination testing of SCP-5322 was approved by Dr. (Redacted), with strict instructions that SCP-5322 was only to be viewed via thermal means.

Method: HK416 assault rifles chambered in 5.56x45.

Log: MTF 41-C 4-man assault squad equipped with thermal goggles and oxygen masks and prepared to enter SCP-5322 containment chamber. Containment chamber was equipped with thermal cameras in order to view the procedure.

Audio Log

Dr.(REDACTED): “Squad leader, prepare to enter containment chamber.” (To operator) “Alright, open the door!”

Squad Leader: “Ready sir. Going in.”

Secondary containment chamber airlock is opened and squad proceeds forward. Upon exiting the airlock, they take up positions surrounding the primary containment chamber entrance. The secondary airlock is sealed behind them

Dr.: “Opening chamber now. Fire as soon as the door is open. Take it down!”

The MTF squad moves towards the entrance before stopping.

Dr. “Squad leader, fire on the subject!”

Squad leader fails to respond, remaining motionless before falling to the ground in convulsions just inside the primary containment chamber. Remaining three operators drop their weapons before running towards the airlock entrance.

Dr.: “Seal primary containment! Lock it down!”

Primary containment door is sealed shut, leaving the MTF squad leader inside of the primary containment chamber. Remaining MTF operators were not equipped with radio headsets but appear to be pleading to be released from the chamber. Secondary airlock is opened and operators exit. The operators are shaking and appear agitated. Dr.(REDACTED) summons medical staff to have them transferred to a medical facility.

Medical staff arrive and attempt to transfer operators to stretchers. Operators refuse and attempt to escape the medics. Dr.(REDACTED) orders the medics to anesthetize the operators in order to transport them safely.

The operators simultaneously become completely still for four seconds before attacking medical staff. Dr.(REDACTED) and the other researchers retreat into the control room and seal the door. Loud screaming and smashing noises are heard before a sudden silence. Security personnel are summoned and quickly neutralize affected MTF operators.

Test Failed

Researcher’s Note:
An attempt was made to capture one of the affected operators alive, but it was not successful. Multiple forms of non-lethal weapons were used to no effect. MTF operators engaged the affected operator in hand-to-hand combat, also to no avail- Affected operator once again seemed to display hyper-human speed and strength, rapidly incapacitating four MTF troops before being terminated via rifle fire.

18 total casualties resulted from this test. Along with the four initial operators, six medical staff were expired at the hands of the affected operators. Four more security personnel were killed in hand-to-hand combat with the affected operators. One MTF operator was left permanently paralyzed as a result of a severe cervical fracture. Three more sustained various fractures and concussions.

Those affected by SCP-5322 are now to be referred to as SCP-5322-01 instances. Any SCP-5322-01 instances are to be considered irrecoverable and are to be terminated immediately via firearm or explosive from range. SCP-5322-01 instances are not to be approached under any circumstance.

Attempt 4:

Method: HK416 assault rifle chambered in 5.56x45.

Log: Rifle was attached to bench, pointed at primary containment chamber door, and equipped with remote targeting system connected to a switch in a storage room approximately 35 meters away from containment chamber. D-Class 31419-B blindfolded and positioned in front of switch. Two MTF 41-C squads were placed in the room with the D-Class. Dr. (REDACTED) and assistant staff in control room.

Audio Log

Dr.(REDACTED) (over radio): “Class D. On the table in front of you is a switch. When I give the order, you will reach forward and pull the switch. If you attempt to pull the switch before I give the order or refuse to pull the switch when ordered, you will be terminated immediately.”

Dr. : “Prepare to open primary chamber door!”
