Special containment procedures: SCP-xxxx is to be kept in site 37 in a specially made constant object monitoring room. In this room the walls are soundproofed and a microphone is next to the objects speaker. All audio transmissions are transferred to a computer.
On an hourly basis a personnel of level 1 access must enter and look over the audio logs. If any audio logs show immediate importance it should be reported to a level 3 researcher.
Description: SCP-xxxx is a transistor radio approximately 6cm in height and 10cm in length. The object appears to perfectly match transistor radios made in 1952, the only Distinction being manufacturer markings indicate the object was made in 1923. The manufacturer of the object appears to be made an unknown company called ‘Marconi’s machine’, which has never been registered.
SCP-xxxx appears to be constantly receiving transmissions from SCP-xxxx-2. It has been hypothesised that scp-xxxx-2 is an alternate reality where the [REDACTED] never happened. SCP-xxxx receives a mix of Morse code and spoken messages from different countries in SCP-xxxx-2. The content of the messages change and the timing of transmission is inconsistent.
The messages from SCP-XXXX-2 include details of political conflict, propaganda as well as indecipherable content. There is information on countries, world events and major catastrophes which either do not exist or are not recorded in historical records.
