Item #: SCP-5025

Object Class: Uncontained, Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Currently, there is no containment procedure for SCP-5025 as it can not be contained. However, since the foundation began monitoring it, SCP-5025 seems to appear commonly at various SCP sites, rarely appearing elsewhere. Interaction with SCP-5025 is prohibited. Interaction with SCP-5025 has been approved by O5-█ as it appears to never show signs of hostility or aggression.

Class C amnestics are to be administered to any non-foundation personnel that witness SCP-5025.

Description: SCP-5025 is a tall humanoid creature measuring approximately 2.7 meters in height. The subject appears average in terms of muscle mass. The subject's arms and legs are proportional to it's body size, similar to that of a human. The skin of SCP-5025 is abnormally dark and appears pitch black; this is currently thought to be because the color of its skin is outside of the human visible light spectrum. It's skin has no visible marks due to its color, but has a texture described as that of a "frog's back". The subject appears to have 3 long, retractable, finger-like appendages on either hand. The only observable features of SCP-5025 are its eyes, which are pure white in color.

SCP-5025 is able to restructure its cells to allow objects to pass through it or vice versa. When this has occurred, no organs or any other internal body structures are visible. SCP-5025 has also been known to completely dematerialize and appear a significant distance away in a short amount of time (See addendum 5025.1). When SCP-5025 is present, it will most often stand in one spot and simply stare at something or someone of interest. It's behavior changes slightly on occasion. Sometimes it will follow or touch personnel, seemingly to inspect them. Personnel have also attempted to interact with SCP-5025 (The following results can be seen in addendum 5025.2). The subject on rare occasions will be seen fixated on, or interacting with inanimate objects, usually those which exhibit some kind of motion or noise, i.e a running washing machine or microwave. SCP 50-25 is considered sentient and intelligent, it has not engaged in any kind of verbal communication.

SCP-5025 also seems to be interested in various other SCPs, observing and interacting with them (See addendum 5025.3).

Discovery: SCP-5025 was first seen at a home in ███████, ██████ on October 12th, 2006. The subject appeared in a young boy's bedroom where the boy called for help claiming "there is a monster in my room". The parents came to the room and saw SCP-5025 standing in the corner of the room. SCP-5025 reacted only by turning his head to stare at the parents. Foundation personnel was notified and sent out to the location. By the time foundation personnel arrived, SCP-5025 had left the home and reappeared in another family's home down the road. Class C amnestics were administered to the individuals who witnessed SCP-5025.

Addendum:

5025.1: SCP-5025 appeared at site-██ in the break room on September 31, 2010 at approximately 2:36pm. SCP-5025 remained in the break room for until 5:13pm, only moving his head to stare at individuals as they came and left. At 5:13pm, 2 researchers and a foundation guard were present in the break room and witnessed SCP-5025 turn around and walk through the break room wall. At 5:26pm that same day, SCP-5025 was spotted at site-██, over 4000km away from the original site. SCP-5025 was observed phasing through the closed door attached to the office of Dr. Galloway. SCP-5025 proceeded to stand in front of the door and watch Dr. Galloway for the next hour, leaving the office and going to an unknown location at approximately 6:20pm. Dr. Galloway stated that he was shocked and panicked when SCP-5025 appeared, as he had heard of, but never seen the creature. It was also unknown at this time that SCP-5025 was capable of traveling far distances so quickly. Security personnel was notified by Dr. Galloway and arrived soon, opening the door to the office. SCP-5025 remained still as the door phased through him. SCP-5025 remained until Dr. Galloway returned to his seat at his desk, and resumed his work. Several instances of SCP-5025 dematerializing and appearing at distant locations within a short time frame have been documented since.

5025.2: Any attempts made to contain SCP-5025 have been met with failure as SCP-5025 can seemingly phase through any material. After interaction was permitted by the O5 council, Several researchers have attempted communicating and interacting with SCP-5025. It is currently unknown if SCP-5025 understands human language, but it has yet to respond to any verbal or physical communication. On one occasion, Class D subject, D-301 was given a standard issue combat knife and told to attack SCP-5025. D-301 was hesitant but was told if he refused, he would be terminated. The Class D subject attempted to stab SCP-5025, but the blade slipped in and out of SCP-5025 several times, leaving no signs of any damage. SCP-5025 responded only by staring at D-301. After several attempts, D-301 was instructed to stand down. On a few rare occasions, SCP-5025 will touch foundation personnel and inspect them and their clothing. The reason for this is unknown, but no harm has come from these "inspections".
