The Chained Man
Object Class: Euclid
[UNAUTHORIZED FOR ENTRY]
Reason: Not written well/too predictable
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-#### is required to be contained in a Level 4 Humanoid chamber 13.7 m x 13.7 m x 6.1 m, as it behaves less erratic in spaces similar to this size and larger. It must be given prey every month to keep it from breaching containment. It is sealed in the chamber with two 5" thick steel doors with a repurposed airlock chamber, to prevent it from attacking the guards stationed outside.
Due to the tendency of reciting its many unique "memories", the containment space is installed with five microphones and is recorded on the security footage without stopping.
Description: This creature appears to be humanoid, laced with devastating wounds with thick rusted chains protruding from each one. It is measured at 6' 2" and is estimated at 120 lbs, excluding the chains. As it is considered unsafe to enter its containment chamber while it is still present, SCP-#### is still wearing a damaged [REDACTED] Maximum Security Prison uniform.
All attempts to communicate with the SCP have failed. However, speech is still confirmed possible, as it often rambles to itself about its alleged past, of which has not been confirmed or denied of any true information. One of its stories is theorized to be the origin of [REDACTED], as it calls itself. As the SCP speaks, its facial features give it the common appearance of terror. It also paces back and forth in the containment area as it speaks.
The creature kills its prey in a unique fashion: by using the chains in its body and pulling one outwards, which do not appear to end, and crushing the prey's neck until bleeding out or suffocating. The SCP will then proceed to hang the corpse from the ceiling, even if there is no physical way to do so. If the neck is protected too well during its killing period, the SCP will continue to attack it using whatever method works at the time, including puncturing the body with superhuman strength with its chains, [REDACTED], and [REDACTED]. The creature does not consume the corpses it accumulates, nor does it appear to require any form of sustenance. The method by which it accumulates the energy it uses to exist is still unknown.
SCP-####'s chains appear to have a consciousness separate from the humanoid, as witnessed by the capability for them to move without external cause as well as the seemingly bipolar nature of its own behavior. Often the chains can be seen attacking SCP-#### without prompt within the containment chamber. All attempts to kill SCP-#### have been greatly unsuccessful despite the extreme force used by the chains.
Securing the SCP
The audio for the interview with the lieutenant leading the collection operation had been corrupted, but the written log is still preserved.
The interview reads as follows:
[Begin Recording]
DOCTOR: Please tell us what happened as your squad secured SCP-####.
LIEUTENANT: Well, where do I begin? Your little scientists told me to make as little noise as possible. Fat lot of good that did us. The thing was located in the middle of a desert forest. Everything on the ground was dead.
DOCTOR: Everything? Including the animals?
LIEUTENANT: [Nods] I could've sworn even the bacteria were dead. There was an unusual thin layer of fine dust on the ground. It had a strange consistency under my boots.
DOCTOR: Impressive.
LIEUTENANT: We thought we would hear the chains, but it was dead silent. When it found us, it jumped on what I swear was ten of my men all at once. The chains wrapped around their necks while they were still barely alive. It then hung each one from the tallest branches it could find. Some of my men were so badly damaged that when they were hung, their bodies fell apart.
DOCTOR: What did you do to get it safe enough to transport?
LIEUTENANT: I think one of my men pulled out one of those taser guns potent enough to kill 100 men and shot it.
DOCTOR: Were you worried the target would be terminated?
LIEUTENANT: No. Of anything, I hoped it would die. [He waits for a moment.] The monster was paralyzed, but the chains started thrashing so violently, even touching them would sever the limb from your body in the most painful way possible. We had to drop the Box on it just to move it.
DOCTOR: Were you surprised by the amount of damage "The Box" sustained when SCP-#### was finally contained?
LIEUTENANT: I don't know. I figured it would've broken out during the flight back if it didn't calm down.
DOCTOR: And I've noticed that you've refrained from using any expletives during the interview. That isn't your usual behavior.
LIEUTENANT: I'm still deciding if Mister Don't-Look-at-My-Face is scarier than this thing. Not a curse word in the world could calm me down.
DOCTOR: Is there a particular reason for such behavior?
LIEUTENANT: Every night, I'm plagued by nightmares of what I saw in that forest before we left.
DOCTOR: Your fallen comrades?
LIEUTENANT: The thousands of hanging skeletons on the trees staring at me all at once. Most of which weren't even human.
DOCTOR: Understood.

Experiment 1: #### T096: SCP-096 is inserted into SCP-####'s containment chamber. The cameras are turned off and ultrasonic imaging is temporarily activated for the duration of the experiment.
SCP-#### begins by wrapping a chain around SCP-096's neck, but no reaction is received by the attack. SCP-#### has not viewed SCP-096's face yet.
After 20 minutes, SCP-096 stands up and begins screaming. SCP-#### begins throwing ends of chains toward SCP-096 with lethal force.
At 30 minutes, SCP-#### wraps itself in writhing chains. SCP-096 tries its hardest to break through but is kept out of confinement.
At 2 hours, SCP-096 has almost made it into the ball of chains.
At 2 1/2 hours, SCP-096 manages to breach the ball of chains, only to be shot into the wall by many chains thrown outwards in all directions, each one carrying an earth-shattering force. Extreme puncture wounds are littered around SCP-096's body.
At 2 3/4 hours, SCP-#### punctures SCP-096's face, essentially obliterating it. SCP-096 curls back into a ball and the onslaught of chains ends.
SCP-096 is returned to its containment chamber.
Termination Result: FAIL

Addendum 1: Origin: The alleged origin of this SCP has not been proven, but the only existing information obtained came from the SCP itself.
The SCP was arrested for [REDACTED] and put into [REDACTED] Maximum Security Prison. At [REDACTED] on July 28, [REDACTED], several days after the last major containment breach at Site [REDACTED], the prison was supposedly attacked by what it identifies it as "a giant, creepy lizard" (hypothesized to be SCP-682, although, during the latest sedition, SCP-682 denies having ever seen it), resulting in everything in the building decimated, including most of the personnel and prisoners. SCP-#### then goes on to describe the feeling of being resurrected as a "more powerful being", before resolving on the sentence, "Now my best friend is with me forever."
Addendum 2: SCP-#### has recently spoken about the initial attempts to communicate with it.
Watch SCP-#### for further associated occurrences and prepare for sedition.
Constrictor Gloves
Object Class: Euclid
Dangerous
[UNAUTHORIZED FOR ENTRY]
Reason: Doesn't make enough sense
Overview
SCP-#### is a pair of black knitted gloves that if worn will slowly constrict on the wearer's hands until the threads of the gloves cut their hands into pieces. After the wearer loses their hands, the gloves drop to the ground along with the blood from the subject, but no evidence of the wearer's flesh remains. The gloves are contained in a reinforced glass display case in a room conditioned to around -10 degrees Fahrenheit, due to the gloves' preference for the cold. At this temperature, it is unable to move on its own.
Origin of SCP
These gloves were knitted by an old woman suffering from a curse inflicted in her childhood. The gloves were threaded improperly, but as she lost her life finishing the gloves, the curse relocated itself into the gloves. When the old woman's corpse was found, her hands were missing. It is mostly assumed the gloves attached themselves to her hands to "feed", although it is unclear why that scenario would occur.
Super Shoe
Object Class: Safe
Sentient
[UNAUTHORIZED FOR ENTRY]
Reason: Not written well/unnecessary storytelling
Overview
This SCP retains the appearance of a single, unidentifiable blue-and-white shoe that grants the wearer superhuman agility in the associated foot. The size changes with every wearer it "selects", becoming too small when attempted to be worn by an incompatible subject. When in the presence of a child murderer, the object lashes out at the subject, however incapable of dealing sustaining damage. No other effects have been observed from prolonged contact with the SCP.
The object is not capable of speech but has managed to learn how to write. All communication has been processed through the written messages.
Origin of SCP
The object was found in an abandoned household claimed to be haunted by the spirit of a young girl and her father. The daughter was kidnapped and murdered around [REDACTED], sending her father into a state of rage. He set out every night for [REDACTED] years to find the murderer and reciprocate his actions. One night, the father disappeared, only the right shoe remaining. The spirits are supposedly fueling the SCP to "cleanse the world of such people".
Null
Object Class: Keter
Sentient
[UNAUTHORIZED FOR ENTRY]
Reason: Does not fit requirements/Too powerful
Overview
SCP-#### is not to be used for destroying other SCPs.
SCP-#### is an intangible shape-mimicking shadow that favors taking the form of its human host. The host is claimed to be "chosen" by the shadow for unknown reasons. This SCP protects its host in a very intelligent manner and appears to have no negative side effects to the host or any surrounding persons posing no intentional threat. All information regarding SCP-#### is given directly from communicating with it. No limits to communicating in various languages have been discovered. The SCP prefers to be named "Null" instead of the codename assigned by the Foundation and will most often not respond when referred to by its classification.
All existing evidence refers to SCP-#### as originating before the universe itself. It claims to have existed as an average organism before its universe collapsed and rebirthed the current universe.
SCP-#### is only able to be contained due to the presence of SCP-####-1. [See SCP-####-1 document] SCP-#### is to be contained in a chamber comprised of three layers of vacuum-sealed steel. Due to the nature of its host, the interior must be made comfortable accordingly.
Origin of SCP
The event regarding the beginning of SCP-####'s abilities has been recorded as follows:
DOCTOR: Good evening, sir. Is it alright if I speak with Null right now?
CIVILIAN: [Pauses] Yes. He says he's ready.
DOCTOR: Perfect. [SCP-#### emerges from the civilian's body] Nice to speak with you again.
SCP-####: I figured so. What would you like to know about me today?
DOCTOR: The Foundation would like to know where you came from and how you obtained your abilities.
SCP-####: Ah, yes. I was wondering when you would ask that.
DOCTOR: Are you allowing us to learn this information?
SCP-####: I don't see a reason to keep it from the personnel here. There's no possible way to use it against me.
DOCTOR: Alright, then. If you will.
SCP-####: Your theorists are somewhat correct. I am from another universe. I lived a normal life. Then the End happened.
DOCTOR: The End?
SCP-####: I've heard several people here call it the Big Collapse.
DOCTOR: Ah. So it wasn't a collision between two universes?
SCP-####: No. Although there is indeed a multiverse, they have parallel trajectories.
DOCTOR: Could you describe that in further detail?
SCP-####: Another time, my friend. As I was saying, the End happened. The heat of the condensing universe destroyed our society. The ones who survived long enough were corralled into large vehicles we called Astrodomes, which I will explain another time.
DOCTOR: So what happened?
SCP-####: The Astrodomes were sent outside the shrinking edge of the universe. Except for one. Mine.
DOCTOR: Do you know why it failed?
SCP-####: I do now, but I didn't then. [Pauses] All of us decided the only thing we could do was watch the End happen. The intense heat killed most of us, but I was the last one. I stayed alive long enough to feel the planet vaporize underneath my feet. Then everything went white. In an instant, the universe grew back to size.
DOCTOR: Is it our universe you are describing?
SCP-####: Indeed. At that time, I realized I had all the knowledge of the universes and everything outside of them as well. I knew that if I didn't do something to your universe, it would've been arranged too perfectly to form anything.
DOCTOR: Did you discover your abilities here?
SCP-####: I did. I couldn't directly touch anything, but I could erase matter from the universe. As if it was a canvas.
DOCTOR: So, you technically created what the universe is now?
SCP-####: I see you understood.
DOCTOR: Thank you. I believe that is where the story ends?
SCP-####: Nothing useful for your needs happened since then.
DOCTOR: Thank you. I appreciate your time. You may return to [REDACTED] body.
SCP-####: No problem. And if you can, tell the Scarlet King I said hello.
[End of Recording]
The Four Stages of Termination
The SCP protects its host using a curious method, nonetheless effective. It separates its capabilities into stages to neutralize threats based on the physical and mental status of the live threat. SCP-#### will not become active unless the host itself is threatened with lethal harm.
When SCP-####'s host is threatened with death in an unclear vicinity, SCP-#### cannot use its abilities for any reason other than the following.
Stage 1: Fear
The first stage the SCP uses forces fear responses in weak intelligent threats such as the common serial killer or large predators. The responding amygdala doesn't react to a threat it can attack and instinctively flees from the scene until the threat is eradicated.
Stage 2: Fatigue
The next stage causes physical fatigue in the limbs of the threat, usually in living threats that persist through the first stage or do not qualify. The fatigue is limited to a certain point of immobility before switching to the next stage.
Stage 3: Torture
This stage is the most traumatic event recorded before witnessing the final stage, but none of our staff has been allowed to witness the third stage. SCP-#### claims that the threat is overwhelmed by images of itself or something the threat most cares about being torn apart in mortifying ways. Usually, this stage is active for threats that persist past the first two stages, or do not qualify.
Stage 4: Death
This stage is reserved for those persisting past the three previous stages or Hostile SCPs. At this stage, SCP-#### will take temporary control of the host's body and bend the rules of the universe to follow through with Stage 4 without harming the host body. The threat is killed flawlessly in the most traumatic possible method to eliminate any other nearby threats before repeating the stage. If the target is unable to be eradicated the normal way, it will resort to erasing the threat from existence.
Visiting the Foundation
It is not entirely clear what caused this event.
The first time SCP-#### was brought to the main Foundation building, every dangerous Euclid and Keter class SCP attempted to get as far away from the hallways without breaking containment. SCP-#### denies doing anything to terrorize them, and when the SCPs were interrogated after the visit, every sentient one told the personnel to keep it away from them. Even SCP-682 opened its next interrogation by saying, "Never bring that thing here again."
The Scarlet King
During recent seditions with multiple other SCPs, the Foundation has obtained information regarding the relations between SCP-#### and the Scarlet King.
According to the information obtained, the Scarlet King and SCP-#### met outside the multiverse. The Scarlet King despised Null immediately and soon grew a plan to get rid of it. The stories diverge here, some claiming the King tried to kill Null just out of pure hatred, some claimed it was because Null did something to catalyze the plan, some even claimed the King was scared of Null. The two beings battled, where some claimed the King won, and others claimed the battle ended in a stalemate.
A Previous Foundation - [Section Restricted]
SCP-####-1
Object Class: Keter Thaumiel
Cognitohazard
Special Containment Procedures
It is currently considered impossible to contain SCP-####-1, as it resides within the entirety of the Earth's atmosphere as long as it is still connected to its majority.
Description
SCP-####-1 is a macroscopic entity invisible to all spectrums of light and resides in the atmosphere of the inhabited planet. According to SCP-####, this entity is a creation of the Scarlet King with the sole purpose of controlling SCP-####.
Although it has no effect, positive or negative, on any creatures on its own, if it can interact with SCP-####, all susceptible creatures will become innately hostile to SCP-#### and its host to the point where they will all bypass the first three stages of termination. Due to SCP-#### being required to use the stages of termination when threatened, an XK or ZK Class Scenario is most likely an inevitability.
Wood Walker
Object Class: Keter
Violent
Currently needs rearrangement
Overview
SCP-#### is a malevolent quadrupedal entity constructed of an unidentified hardwood. Its outer layer appears nearly impenetrable and grows over any damaged bark it may lose. A thick low shelf of fog constantly generates from the SCP, but the fog does not rise enough to completely obscure the entity from an aerial view. Its "feet" grow new wood directly where it steps, also giving it the capability to scale any wall or walk on strong ceilings. It is unsure whether SCP-#### is sentient, but it has the ability to judge if a walking platform can support its weight.
SCP-#### is approximately 12 feet (4 meters) tall and 16 feet (5.2 meters) from front to rear. The bark and leaves appear to belong to an oak tree, but minor details upon any possible closer inspection indicate otherwise. The wooden material contains considerable amounts of crystalline structures unfamiliar to all known geometric forms. Its eyes appear to have a bioluminescent glow, but it does not have any indication to containing organic matter of any kind. In normal circumstances, this entity's walking velocity is slower than the average human walk speed.
This SCP naturally has hostile tendencies toward any intruding lifeform, and if it is attempted to be removed from its self-claimed territory, it will increase its mobile velocity and proceed to eradicate all life within line of sight of it. The shape of its territory seems to change sporadically, as the guards stationed around the SCP's containment are often attacked.
SCP-#### must be contained within its territory. 18" concrete walls must be built around the borders. A 2" thick lip must be built on the interior side of the wall to prevent SCP-#### from escaping.
SCP-#### has a few different methods of terminating its targets. It often tramples its intruders, which not only impales the creature but also encases it in its bark to suffocate it in case the invader manages to survive. It also tends to [REDACTED] its foes when it can get close enough. The most curious method, however, is that it can seemingly generate wood in any hospitable ground for plant life. With this ability, it can create spikes underneath a target, trap and crush it, etc.
Blood Ink Fountain Pen
Object Class: Safe
Needs more data
SCP-####'s exterior appears to be a vintage fountain pen that uses a peculiar scarlet ink. Upon inspecting its interior, SCP-#### is missing the ink cartridge necessary to write.
Once someone begins using it to write, the SCP uses the writer's veins as an ink cartridge and writes using the blood of the user. It is confirmed difficult to survive using SCP-#### after beginning to write with it, as the only way to release contact with it is to sever the connected vein and cease the bleeding.
Test results claim SCP-#### does not give any extra safety to the effect of SCP-012.
Watcher Clock
Object Class: Euclid Keter Euclid
Lethal Violent
Special Containment Procedures
SCP-#### is to be contained in a Zero-Direct Visibility (ZDV) large object chamber. Audio of young children singing nursery rhymes and other similar audio is to be played in the chamber at all times. [See Addendum 3]
No unauthorized personnel is allowed to enter the containment chamber during SCP-####'s "active" phase.
The 05 Council has stated that unless the experiment is voted unanimously in favor, SCP-#### is not to be used for termination purposes.
Description
SCP-#### is a grandfather clock decorated with a sleeping face styled as if it belongs in a nursery. The clock is 6 feet tall and is cut to appear ornate.
SCP-#### is harmless for 170 minutes while its face is still considered sleeping, however, for ten minutes out of every three hours, the SCP's face "wakes up", opening its eyes and smiling, revealing incredibly realistic oversized eyes and teeth. During this time, the clock will turn toward a seemingly random person located in its field of view. The subject it selects will die 3 hours after first being looked at from a completely unprompted cause.1 If SCP-#### does not have a target it can access, it will proceed to thrash around its containment at near light-speed until ten minutes have passed, or if it can "see" a new target. Some observers claim that when a target is unavailable to the object, the smile is replaced with a frown. SCP-#### does not seem to react to anyone observing through cameras.
Under the observation of recent events, [See Addendums 1 & 2] SCP-#### also has the capability to "watch" other anomalies and learn from them, creating an extremely dangerous entity for the 10 minute period where its eyes are open. It also uses less hostile anomalous properties during the remaining 170 minutes.
Addendum 1-####
During a recent containment breach at Site 19, SCP-#### had escaped as SCP-173 opened its containment doors. Even for that brief meeting between the two SCPs, SCP-#### had "learned" to kill mass amounts of targets by hitting them at near light-speed. The clock does not sustain damage during any collisions with other objects or organisms.
SCP-#### must have more strict containment conditions to prevent it from learning anymore killing methods.
Addendum 2-####
Suspicious events have started occurring inside SCP-####'s containment. Things like children laughing or crying have been heard by passing doctors and D-class personnel. Blood has been witnessed pooling from the base of the SCP. Several D-class personnel have claimed a voice whispering to them to "free the Watcher Clock".
SCP-#### must be moved to a total isolation SCP containment chamber ASAP. SCP-#### has learned more from other nearby SCPs and must be prevented from continuing before it qualifies for an Apollyon level Object Class. It is still unsure if Thaumiel SCPs are safe to use to contain SCP-####. It is recommended to keep SCP-#### away from Archon SCP's at all times.
Do not attempt using SCP-#### for termination purposes. Doing so can cause cataclysmic outcomes to the Earth if not more.
SCP-#### is reclassified to Keter.
Addendum 3-####
During SCP-####'s relocation operation on [REDACTED]/[REDACTED]/[REDACTED], various on-site personnel noted the faint aural presence of young children singing. Over the course of 20 minutes, the singing became louder.
Upon arriving at the temporary containment facility located at Site [REDACTED], several researchers had discovered that SCP-#### had "forgotten" all but its initial anomalous properties and behaviors.
After the event, a Class D subject in their quarters pointed out that the singing had been coming from the facility speaker system.
The current 05 consensus suggests that SCP-#### should be reclassified to Euclid and returned to its original containment chamber with audio of children's nursery songs played at all times.
No evidence had been discovered according to the origin of the children's singing audio.

Overview
SCP-#### is a bipedal creature of unknown evolutionary origin. Its arms end in four sharp digits on each arm, constructed of some unidentifiable metal. The majority of its skin is dark gray, with turquoise swirls scattered across its body. Its eyes are pure white, and although it has been proven the SCP is not blind, they do not contain evidence of blood vessels, pupils, or other common optical structures.
Despite SCP-#### being incredibly dangerous and difficult to contain when left completely alone, it is astoundingly easy to scare off. Experiments have proven that simple things like intimidating stature, sudden quick movements, and even screaming in fear can cause SCP-#### to react. This makes containment far easier, as the only location the creature feels completely safe is the containment cell built for it at Site [REDACTED]. Once startled heavily enough, SCP-#### begin to cower in fear until the observed threat is removed or remains motionless for long enough.
Do not scare SCP-#### into a corner. Like any normal prey animal, it will lash out to protect itself.
SCP-#### has no evidence of being able to learn that certain actions have no potential harm to it, and will thereby react equivalently to the same exact method every time.
Addendum 1
Note's from Dr. [REDACTED]:
After spending a little over three months in its containment cell, it has since stopped its fearful behavior in response to its environment. Since it has grown comfortable, we can now begin experimentation.
Copy Marble
Object Class: Euclid
Violent
[UNAUTHORIZED FOR ENTRY]
Reason: Not unique enough
Overview
When it is left alone, SCP-#### is nothing more than a 6'x10'x6' block of a stone that heavily resembles marble but has such high hardness, it is currently presumed indestructible. When this SCP comes in eye contact with an organism or an image of an organism, it will assume the figure and abilities of the organism to perfection. However, when this occurs, SCP-#### will become innately aggressive toward that organism for the remainder of its transformation. SCP-#### cannot change into another organism for 30 minutes after initial transformation, and will not attempt to attack any other being during the allotted time.
Special Containment Procedures
SCP-#### is required to be contained in a 20'x20' room fitted with a screen. When entering the containment chamber, the screen must be first activated to show a harmless small plant. During relocation of SCP-####, the screen must be activated first, then an opaque sheet must be draped over the object.
Experiment 1: #### T682
This experiment was conducted under the authority of various 05 council members.
Both SCP-#### and SCP-682 were relocated to a large, empty chamber. Many stationed personnel were killed during the relocation of SCP-682, but no containment breach occurred.
SCP-#### transformed into an exact marble replica of SCP-682 after the 30-minute interval restarted. Immediately, the two giant creatures began fighting.
Notes from Dr. [REDACTED]
I never thought I'd see the day when SCP-682 would not be able to damage the SCP pitted against it in battle. It isn't likely termination will be successful, but this is truly a sight to see.
Within two hours of conflict, SCP-682 begins taking a more defensive approach to the battle to avoid any potentially lethal damage, while SCP-#### still has yet to reveal any damage.
Within five hours of conflict, SCP-682 begins shouting to the crew present to "let it out".
Within eight hours of conflict, SCP-682 begins threatening to kill everyone at the experiment site. SCP-#### has still shown no signs of damage or ceasing.
Within nine hours of conflict, several near-breaches occur, but against all expectations, SCP-682 refuses to leave containment. Dr. [REDACTED] hypothesizes SCP-682 "knows its foe can and will follow it to finish the job". Colossal amounts of blood from SCP-682 spill through the broken walls.
At ten hours of battling, Dr. [REDACTED] calls off the experiment and begins giving instructions to SCP-682. At first, SCP-682 rejects the orders but eventually begins to follow the instructions. After successfully doing so, SCP-#### quickly returns to its normal form. Class D personnel then slide an image of a dandelion under the door, and SCP-#### transforms to match it. Both SCPs are then escorted back to their respective containment chambers.
End Experiment
Experiment 2: #### T096
This experiment was conducted under the authority of various 05 council members.
SCP-#### and SCP-096 are inserted into an empty chamber. SCP-####s interval runs out, reforming into SCP-096. Both SCPs sit down and cover their faces.
After an hour, the experiment is called to end. Both SCPs had adjusted several times, a few of which when they saw each other's faces. Neither seemed to react. SCP-096 is removed first. A first-hand account from a D-class member states that when the door was opened to remove SCP-####, the face was viewed, but there was no reaction. It appears SCP-#### can be a window into the face of SCP-096.

A Lens That Reveals
Object Class: Safe

[UNAUTHORIZED FOR ENTRY]
Reason: Too much crossover necessity
SCP-#### is a small convex ocular lens made of glass. Although when looking through it to any inorganic substance does not reveal anything out of the ordinary, looking at any living or anomalous entity reveals a different figure representative of its mental state, intentions of action, the severity of anomalous characteristics, and personality when any aspect is present. The physical, cognitive, and memetic capabilities of the original subject do not always translate to the manifestation.
Extensive precautions must be taken into account before peering through SCP-####. If a hostile manifestation is viewed at more than 15% of its body, it will attack the observer. There is no way to stop the hostile manifestation without a friendly manifestation already available. If a manifestation dies, the original entity dies as well. The manifestations of certain anomalies are incapable of being terminated as a reflection of its host's abilities.
SCP-#### cannot see the manifestation of a subject from another universe.
Experiment 1: ####/173
A D-class is instructed to look through SCP-#### at SCP-173 and draw what they see on a piece of paper placed in front of them. They are instructed to draw the observed entity little by little to avoid being attacked. Over the course of 27 minutes, the final drawing reveals a black humanoid figure with bright glowing white eyes. The D-class describes the process of drawing as "difficult because the figure kept twitching and thrashing violently".
End Experiment
Experiment 2: ####/999
A D-class is instructed to look through SCP-#### at SCP-999 and draw what they see on a piece of paper placed in front of them. They are given the option to look as closely through the lens as they want, as SCP-999 does not naturally pose any threat. Over the course of 3 minutes, the final drawing reveals a gelatinous teddy bear with big black button eyes and a small wooden play sword. The D-class describes the manifestation dancing in place with a happy inflection in its eyes. They then go on to describe it as "the most adorable thing anyone would ever see".
End Experiment
Experiment 3: ####/Dn6
A D-class is instructed to look through SCP-#### at six different lined up Class D personnel and draw what they see on a piece of paper placed in front of them. They are instructed to draw the observed entities little by little to avoid being attacked. Over the course of 96 minutes, the final drawing reveals five unique monstrous manifestations standing in a line, with an empty space on the left side. D-[REDACTED] must be pulled aside at a later date for discussion.
End Experiment
Experiment 4: ####/682
A D-class is instructed to look through SCP-#### at SCP-682 and draw what they see on a piece of paper placed in front of them. They are instructed to draw the observed entity little by little to avoid being attacked. However, the test is called off early due to D-[REDACTED] complaining that they "only see red" no matter where they look, even adjusting to look through the other side of the lens.
The test is then continued at a further distance. The same result applies.
The distance is increased again. The same result applies.
The distance is increased again. The same result applies to the side focusing SCP-682, but D-[REDACTED] claims to now be able to see the world through the other side.
The distance is increased one final time. Over the course of 100 minutes, the final drawing reveals a colossal red demon. D-[REDACTED] is then [REDACTED] into a gory mass. It is estimated that either the distance was judged improperly, or D-[REDACTED] looked too closely into SCP-####.
Notes from Dr. [REDACTED]
I guess we should all be glad that SCP-682 is not that thing, but then again, that thing is a representation of SCP-682's abilities. It's hard to tell what to be grateful for regarding this SCP.

SCP-#### is to be contained in a 30 m x 45 m x 8.5 m chamber built around a small pond with colonies of silver carp, rainbow trout, betta fish, and neon tetra. Regular structure inspections are scheduled to verify the entities cannot breach containment. The welfare of the prey colonies must be monitored in case of necessary resupply.
Description
SCP-#### is an anomalous species of blue and yellow fish measured at 4 inches tall, 5 inches long, and 1/2 inch thick. The entire species is capable of moving through the air as well as water. When within 2 feet of a single entity, it will strike at great speed, injecting its venom at the attack site. Total organ and brain function is ceased following the injection in around 2.5 seconds, rendering the victim dead. No other symptoms of the venom have been observed.
Although SCP-#### is incredibly dangerous to venture near, if killed, a substance residing near its tail voids the effects of the venom if taken in quickly enough. The substance has also shown signs of granting the user immunity to a single dose of venom for approximately 90 minutes.
SCP-500 has been proven to cure the effect of SCP-####'s venom if applied quickly enough.
The offspring stages of SCP-#### have incredibly different behavior from its adult stages. During these stages, the offspring show signs of total independence and tend to wander away from the rest of the group. The offspring are also massively symphoric2, making it mostly easy to survive an encounter with one. It has been confirmed that in these stages the entity is not blind, but may have underdeveloped vision causing images to be blurry, paired with underdeveloped axial equilibrium causing sensitive disorientation in most cases. However, if the entity is killed in the offspring stages, the anti-venomous substance is not present.

Special Containment Procedures
SCP-#### is to be walled off and isolated from the rest of the forest with many guards stationed around the perimeter. Mobile Task Forces Delta-13 "Forest Fire" and Zeta-11 "Medusa" are to be held on standby at all times.
Description
SCP-#### is a remote section of the [REDACTED] Forest in northern [REDACTED] where supposedly billions of unique hostile creatures reside, each promptly labeled SCP-####-1-01, -02, etc. Each creature consists of different colors, different sizes, different anatomies, and so on, and the region has yet to reveal the same entity twice.
Upon exploration missions, the hostility becomes notably more aggressive the closer proximity to the center of the forest. Traveling through the forest has resulted in failure. (See Addendum 1) Traveling from above has resulted in failure. (See Addendum 2) Traveling from below has resulted in failure. (See Addendum 3) Researchers have speculated three different scenarios regarding the center of the forest while it is still considered impossible to identify the real scenario. No sedition with other SCPs has uncovered anything.
Upon recovery of several sub-entities from the site of SCP-####, it has been discovered that they do not seem to develop with any fundamental sense and yet are still capable of detecting prey. Currently, the theory is that these creatures use some anomalous aspect of the forest as a method of detecting unwelcome presences.
Scenario 1: Prisoner
At the center of SCP-#### is another entity capable of causing a K Class scenario but is being contained by the SCP. It is unclear why the forest would exist for this purpose, or what its purpose would be if the contained entity escapes.
This scenario explains why the sub-entities do not attack if any personnel is outside the containment, as well as why it becomes more difficult to reach the center of SCP-####.
Scenario 2: Hive Queen
At the center of SCP-#### is a mother entity spawning the sub-entities present in the forest. A K Class scenario is possible if the hive is building for a future event. It is unclear why the forest would be the central anomaly in this scenario.
This scenario explains why it becomes more difficult to reach the center of SCP-####.
Scenario 3: Heart
At the center of SCP-#### is some form of a heart that when tampered with or possibly removed will cause catastrophic consequences to the forest ecosystem if not the entire world. This appears to be the most likely scenario considering the substantial clarity of the situation.
This scenario explains why the sub-entities do not attack if any personnel is outside the containment, as well as why it becomes more difficult to reach the center of SCP-####.
Addendum 1
A group of 5 Class D personnel equipped with heavy military armaments, global location sensors, and life monitors is sent into SCP-####. Gunshots are heard by stationed personnel soon after losing visual contact with the group. Life signs are still positive after gunshots cease.
5 minutes later, 2 of the D-class are killed. Distant gunshots are faint but still audible. Approximately 3 minutes after the first sign of danger, gunshots stop and the life signs of the remaining personnel are positive.
4 other confrontations are noticed by the rise and fall of each individual's heart rate and adrenaline, but no gunshots are audible anymore.
Upon approaching a 20 m radius of the center of the forest, all life signs are suddenly rendered negative.
Experiment: INCONCLUSIVE
Addendum 2
A helicopter pilot and three security agents are designated for accompaniment during the expedition.
Two Class D personnel attempt to drop off at the center of the forest, but before any visual contact with the ground below the tree line is made, the helicopter is swarmed by hundreds of aerial creatures. Soon after, a large worm-like entity devours the helicopter and its occupants.
Experiment: FAILED
Addendum 3
Many security agents are designated for accompaniment during the expedition.
A large group of Class D personnel is instructed to dig underneath the surface of the forest as if it were a mining operation. Proper equipment is provided.
Three days later, four of the D-class return to the surface in a state of panic, claiming that the roots filled the space and killed the rest of the personnel. This was confirmed two days later when the decaying corpses of guards and Class D's alike were found punctured by the roots.
Experiment: FAILED
Lights Out Hallway
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures
SCP-#### must be kept pitch black at all times unless being studied in an experiment. A single overhead funnel lamp is used during experimentation. Each end of the hallway is blocked off with three layers of light-proof doorways. Any rooms only available through the hallway must be considered condemned until further notice.
Description
SCP-#### is a hallway located in a staff section in the [REDACTED] Library in [REDACTED], Canada. Entities reside within the confines of the hallway, but the entities are not often revealed more than their offensive limbs.
The entities residing in SCP-#### do not exist unless under direct visible light and cannot detect any prey outside the boundaries of the hallway or outside of direct visible light. However, if any living creature is detected as prey by the entities, they will lacerate the subject until it dies. The visible light will then flicker and the corpse will proceed to disappear.
Any visible light within the hallway space appears to only reflect once. This property makes it nearly impossible to see anything outside of the direct light, but also creates a circle of light on the floor designating the boundaries of the direct light from the lamp.

13-Sided Dice
Object Class: Euclid-Asynepis4
Special Containment Procedures
SCP-#### is to be stored in a specialized containment chamber to accompany its ever-changing anomalous effects. The walls are to be comprised of a metal alloy with a melting point of over 400 degrees Fahrenheit, a vacuum-sealed layer, a layer of purified water, a concrete and steel support layer, and a surface highly insulative of sound, heat, electricity, and other forms of energy.
The inside of the containment chamber is only authorized to have a simple metal table.
Description
SCP-#### is a pair of dice with thirteen sides of regular polygon faces, each one with a number written ascending from 1 to 13.
When a single die is rolled, the other rolls as well, regardless of any restrainment.
If both dice are not rolled within 24 hours, the objects will "walk" around the containment chamber, traveling on the edges of the polyhedron. This movement does not seem to count as rolling the entities.
When SCP-#### is rolled, a specific event occurs with each outcome. The event is decided by the numbers read left to right.

Mobilitoxic Geckos
Object Class: Euclid
Dangerous
Special Containment Procedures
SCP-#### must be contained in a 15 m x 20 m glass containment terrarium within a larger chamber. Manual doors with a window are required to be installed to prevent full containment breach. The entities must be fed small insects every 3-4 hours through a tube covered in a wire mesh that prevents SCP-#### from escaping.
Description
SCP-#### is a small feathered lizard measuring 5 cm from head to tail. It's entire body is light enough that the lizard can use its feathers to slow its fall and potentially fly. The SCP is genderless, but is still capable of leaving eggs in the containment chamber.
SCP-#### carries a venom that kills anything that it deems to be alive and connected. The bitten victim, regardless of any biological or nonbiological nature, will die within 1 hour of the attack. The victim will then proceed to decompose at the rate of a deceased biological specimen, despite often not being the case. The SCP's venom is capable of recognising if a structure is moved via environmental factors (i.e. seismic activity, wind, manual force, etc.), but is not capable of separating a false appendage from its host, which results in the death of both in perfect unison. SCP-#### will not attack any threat that it cannot witness its movement (See Addendum 1), and cannot eliminate a threat that is already in decomposition stages (See Addendum 2).
Despite being a lethal creature, SCP-####'s light body makes it incredibly fragile.
Termination Log: 173/####
All personnel were instructed to deactivate security cameras, only to reactivate them periodically to record the proceedings.
SCP-####-14, SCP-####-23, and SCP-####-45 are placed into SCP-173's containment chamber.
The room is sealed shut manually before releasing the remote springlock latch on SCP-####'s cage. All three instances of SCP-#### immediately attacked the latch. The cameras were then deactivated.1 minute later, the cameras were reactivated. All SCPs contained inside were intact. SCP-####-23 appeared to watch SCP-173 suspiciously. The cameras were turned off again.
2 minutes later, the cameras were reactivated. SCP-####-45 had been crushed to death, and SCP-####-14 had become suspicious of SCP-173 as well. The cameras were turned off again.
5 minutes later, all SCP-#### instances were discovered dead.
After 1 hour of waiting, SCP-173 continued to show activity.
Termination Attempt: FAILED
Termination Log: 106/####
SCP-####-36 and SCP-####-74 are released remotely into SCP-106's containment chamber.
SCP-106 appears to be initially motionless.
After 2 hours, SCP-106 begins to engage the SCP-#### instances.
Both SCP-#### instances inject their venom into SCP-106, but are killed within seconds of contact.Observations show that after an hour, SCP-106 remained active.
Termination Attempt: FAILED
White Line
Object Class: Thaumiel
[UNAUTHORIZED FOR ENTRY]
Reason: Too much power
Special Containment Procedures
Description
SCP-#### is a white line 1/2 in x 5 in created by unknown means and is not evident of being made of any substance. The line cannot be erased or added onto due to its anomalous nature, but is capable of being moved through a process known by the SCP Foundation as [REDACTED].
If the line spans at least half the horizontal surface area of a living creature's forehead, SCP-#### puts the creature into a form of mental lockdown, ceasing all brain activity while separately operating the rest of its body to maintain vital functions. During the mental lockdown, the creature remains motionless and does not require food or other forms of sustenance. If the creature is put in danger, SCP-#### uses its host's body and abilities to remove itself from the danger source (See Addendum 1).
Addendum 1
Addendum 2
SCP-#### is used in an attempt to permanently restrain SCP-682.

Attempt: FAILED
Photon Man
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures
SCP-#### is contained in a 5 m x 12 m chamber. The entrance, walls, floor, and ceiling must be completely opaque. Personnel monitoring the anomaly are instructed to watch for bright footprint shapes in the video feed.
Description
SCP-#### is a humanoid consisted entirely of photons. Although not particularly visible on its own, when it comes in contact with a surface or object (i.e. floor), the point of contact emits intense light in the shape of the surface area in contact. The entity appears to be completely benevolent, but it can still cause bodily harm. Sites of contact with SCP-#### can generate intense heat, which can cause burns. If SCP-#### comes in contact with any optical structure, whether biological or mechanical, the light released is enough to permanently damage the system, if not completely overload it, causing permanent blindness.
SCP-#### is able to traverse through perfectly transparent objects without any inhibition, but the resistance increases as the object increases in opacity.
Due to its composition being comprised entirely of photons, SCP-#### is incapable of producing any kind of audible sound and is unable to communicate via sound. All attempts to communicate with sign language have been met with idle resistance, which is suspected to be in accord with either the resources necessary or the lack of knowledge of the language.
The Foundation recommends that all personnel remain outside of the SCP's containment chamber when SCP-#### is present due to its ability to blind people that come into contact with it. [See Addendum 1]
SCP-#### is sustained by light sources.
Necromantic Judge
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures
All interactions with SCP-#### must be made via intercom. It is too difficult and dangerous to physically involve any personnel within the Foundation's resources.
Description
According to appearance, SCP-#### is an average, non-anomalous human male that acts as a court judge.
SCP-#### is erratic and causes difficulty to maintain a healthy Class D population. When it is confronted with a person that has committed any kind of crime within the law of the location it is in, it will immediately activate the penalty, bypassing any extra processes. Reports of these occurrences include money vanishing, instant transportation to the nearest vacant jail or prison cell, and keeping inmates alive until a multi-life sentence is fulfilled.
Awareness Killer
Object Class: Keter
[UNAUTHORIZED FOR ENTRY]
Reason: Too similar to SCP-096
Special Containment Procedures
SCP-#### is currently contained in an abandoned SCP facility located in [REDACTED]. All external doors are to be locked at all times. Unlocked doors are to be relocked by teams of two only equipped with repair tools and vital sensors built with intentional latency. Any surveillance is to be done completely by automated systems with no information about the exact whereabouts of SCP-#### available to human eyes.
All personnel is forbidden to enter the facility unless authorized by unanimous 05 vote only.
Description
SCP-#### is an amorphous shadow entity. When it is not observed by any sensual information, SCP-#### is completely harmless and is often noted leaving gifts for the patrols stationed outside of the facility.
However, when SCP-#### is observed by any macroscopic organism, it will attack the observer, intending to kill it. The observation method is not limited to sight, as it has responded to hearing, touch, and current textual information regarding its exact location. 100% of observations have resulted in death.
It has been noted that SCP-#### has yet to leave any of its attack victims alive.
Walking Skeletons
Object Class: Euclid
[UNAUTHORIZED FOR ENTRY]
Reason: Too commonplace
Special Containment Procedures
SCP-#### must be contained in a large chamber with an acidic air filtration system used for terminating spores. A vacuum system must also be installed and functional for human entrance.
The air filtration system must be deactivated and the chamber is vacuumed before any human entry is considered safe. During this time, contact with inactive SCP-#### instances is prohibited.
Any whole bones inside the chamber must be removed as soon as safely possible.
Any infected persons are to be executed and cremated to kill any trace of SCP-#### breaching containment.
Description
SCP-#### is a fungus that infects the skeletal system of the human body, living or deceased. Under close inspection on an active instance, between the bones are tendons of foreign DNA connecting the bones to each other. The tendons formed have incredible muscular strength due to the need to move the bones without forming new muscle around them. The bones the entity is using do not decompose. Older active instances of SCP-#### have been recorded to have extra bones layered onto the original skeleton in an inconsistent fashion, creating the image of an amalgamation of bones. It has only shown hostility to humans; any other organisms are under no threat by the entity. After successfully killing its victims, it will first replace damaged bones, and then pile the rest of the bones onto it for extra protection.
If SCP-#### infects a deceased human body, it sinks straight down to the skeletal system and separates the tissues from the bones. After then, it waits until the deceased tissue has rotted away before animating the skeleton.
If SCP-#### infects a living human, it remains dormant for a period of 3-4 weeks before activating a full body paralysis on the host. 1-4 days after paralysis, a tumor starts to grow, generally from the rear of the skull. Once the tumor is fully formed, the skeleton begins to thrash violently inside of the body, causing the host to convulse. The host often dies during the convulsion. Eventually, the skeleton separates from the body and rips its way out of the body.
If the main skull of the skeleton is broken beyond retaining its form, SCP-####'s tendons will recede from the rest of the bones, and the fungus will enter an inactive state. In this state, the fungus will begin to emit spores once the bones have completely decomposed.
Jigsaw Chameleon
Object Class: Euclid
[UNAUTHORIZED FOR ENTRY]
Reason: Not interesting enough/Not enough information
Special Containment Procedures
Description
SCP-#### is anatomically identified as a veiled chameleon but is capable of swapping the locations of its features, whether small or large, without any indication of injury as it does this. On record, the limbs of the entity have connected without the need of a joint, to each other, and even disconnect entirely from the main body, in which case it remains alive.
The epidermis of SCP-#### usually poorly simulates the appearance of the surface it is on, but when removed from a surface with any visible information, it will default to a jigsaw board pattern. There are currently no instances of SCP-#### becoming completely transparent.
Hospital Vase
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures
SCP-#### is to be contained in an isolated clinic room in Site [REDACTED].
SCP-#### is not to be handled roughly to avoid causing damage to the SCP. Removal from Site [REDACTED] is currently impossible. A camera must be placed in all rooms within the facility occupied by SCP-####; footage under constant surveillance to prevent any unauthorized interaction with the object.
Description
SCP-#### is a vase made of clear but incredibly sturdy plastic. Inside of it is a liquid that is approximately 30% water and 70% a liquid that is currently unidentifiable but seems to have some botanical rejuvenation properties. The vase seems to generate this liquid solution until a certain capacity is met, and will refill if any liquid is removed.
SCP-#### can only exist in a hospital or other medical facility, and if removed, it will instantaneously transport itself to a flat, rigid, elevated surface located in the nearest medical care room. If there are no surfaces available inside the room that fit the criteria, it will either transport to the floor, or to the next closest medical care room with the correct surface type.
If a person with a negative medical condition is placed into the nearest medical bed in the same room, SCP-#### will obtain and hold flowers the moment all visual contact is lost, anomalously forcing the situation if need be. The flowers do not die during this time and are arranged as if done by a professional. Any flowers added to the SCP will assume the same lifetime and slowly adjusts to fit the arrangement theme. The colloquial beauty of the arrangements correlates inversely with the frequency of visitations by family and friends; the patients never visited receive what is referred to as "the most beautiful arrangement on Earth".
If the patient dies from their condition, the flowers of the arrangement quickly wilt apart from a single white flower. SCP-#### often at this time is found with a small inscription on the rim with the message "The heart knows" written in cursive. The reader will immediately begin to display a positive personal relationship with the deceased patient, regardless of any previous relations between the subjects. The flower will disappear from the vase once the message is read, and surgeries and X-ray scans have revealed that a single petal from the white flower becomes present in an empty space near the heart of the reader. The petal does not stain by any known means. Those with the petal at their heart refuse to have it removed, and the petal does not comply with forced removal.
Ceramic Brain
Object Class: Safe Neutralized Euclid
Cognitohazard, Presumed Teleportation
Special Containment Procedures
SCP-#### is was is to be contained in a large 18 m x 18 m Cognitohazardous Object chamber. No visual obstacles are were are to be allowed inside the chamber to avoid losing visible contact with the object.
Do not approach within 3 m of SCP-####. Do not remain within 15 m of SCP-#### for an extended period of time.
Description
SCP-#### is was is a ceramic figure of below-average quality resembling a brain. The surface is was is coated in an even, unfired glaze of a reddish-pink color. Upon possible closer inspection, the figure is was is anatomically correct in a coarse fashion.
When approaching SCP-####, subjects will would will begin to feel the sensation commonly known as "headrush". The closer in proximity a subject becomes, the more potent the effects. Most records indicated that upon reaching approximately a 3 m radius of SCP-####, the subject will would will lose all ability to see shortly before losing consciousness. The loss of visibility is was is caused by small, morphing shapes, usually brown or orange in hue, that spread from the edges of the subject's field of view inward in tandem with a darkening and hazy appearance in the subject's surroundings. This visual data is was is only visible to those within SCP-####'s "field of effect", spanning at a 15 m radius.
Addendum 1
8/[REDACTED]/2005
During a routine experiment involving SCP-####, Dr. [REDACTED] was sent into the testing chamber along with two Class D personnel and a security officer, due to the shortage of staff in Site [REDACTED] at the time. Dr. Murphy was stationed in the observatory giving directions through the intercom.
One of the Class D personnel was directed to walk toward SCP-####. At every two meters, D-[REDACTED] reported their mental and visual status.
Once D-[REDACTED] collapsed, the remaining Class D subject and Dr. [REDACTED] were equipped with an extended automatic retrieval system (EARS), and began to retrieve D-[REDACTED]. During this, Dr. [REDACTED] misdirected the system, knocking SCP-#### off of its pedestal, breaking it in the process.
The experiment log was concluded with SCP-#### reclassified to Neutralized, Dr. [REDACTED] charged for ineptitude and reallocated to Class D, and a note from Dr. Murphy.
How on this Earth did Dr. [REDACTED] become an SCP scientist? That idiot destroyed an invaluable SCP object, and now we have to clean his mess up!
Addendum 2
[REDACTED]/[REDACTED]/2006
During a janitorial check-up, the Class D personnel reported that there was an object on the pedestal. Upon Dr. Murphy's arrival, the object had vanished.
Video recordings of the chamber indicate that SCP-#### was on the pedestal. The surface appeared more cracked and damaged than previous records had shown, but regardless intact.
Over the next [REDACTED] days, SCP-####'s "disappearing act" had recurred numerously, each time, the figure was in more stable condition. On [REDACTED]/[REDACTED]/2006, SCP-#### had reappeared in perfect condition and has not vanished since.
SCP-#### has been reclassified as Euclid.
Spiderless Webs
Object Class: Euclid
Violent
Special Containment Procedures
SCP-#### is to be contained in an open containment chamber with no permanent fixtures within the walls permitted.
Every secure and contained instance is to be fed 17 grams of oak wood semiweekly.
It is recommended to avoid any and all spider webs within the area any quantity of instances of SCP-#### has been known to be located in. Any instance breaching containment will be incinerated via flamethrower by MTF Theta-4 (designated "Gardeners").
Description
SCP-#### appears to be a spider web, but in reality, is a carnivorous plant closely resembling that of a black widow's web. It begins growing in a small, enclosed space or corner, spreading its roots through its foundational surface. Once its roots are grown enough to safely support itself, it will begin to grow extremely thin clear tendrils coated in a sticky substance.
SCP-#### seems to find nutritional value in any consumed matter, including botanically hazardous substances. No negative health conditions have been recorded to date.
If contact is made with the tendrils of SCP-####, the tendrils will quickly wrap around the object or organism that touched it. It will then grow rapidly, covering the entirety of the object/organism until a thick, strong layer of tendrils surrounds the exterior of its victim. Once completely encased, it will exert a powerful acid that breaks down the object/organism. After the victim is dissolved and absorbed, the tendrils will spread around its original location and expand the web until all tendrils have assumed a web-like appearance.

Special Containment Procedures
SCP-#### must be kept under constant watch by personnel on-site and by audio and video transmission from Area [REDACTED]. The perimeter of SCP-#### is to be secured by concrete walls 18 cm thick. Interaction with entities within the vicinity of SCP-#### is strictly prohibited, termination as an exception if containment and/or security is breached.
Outside observers of SCP-#### are to be placed under Cerebral Purge Protocol after the events preceding [REDACTED]. Any permanently relocated personnel and must also undergo this procedure.
Note from Dr. [REDACTED]:
For all future personnel entering the containment unit, please do not piss off the giant lizards.
Description
SCP-#### is a region north of [REDACTED] displaying signs of potential multiversal crossroading spanning approximately 180 m3.
Objects, entities, and terrain (regardless of unique capabilities) within the vicinity of SCP-#### have been known to shift suddenly, alter appearances, change opacity, experience chrono-looping, experience time stuttering, experience matter stuttering, materialize, dematerialize, and undergo matter-antimatter reactions.
Subject logs and documents have recorded instances of, but not limited to, the following entities: average humans, local wildlife, elongated shadow humanoids (hostile), herbivorous plants (docile unless individually threatened), autonomous household electric appliances (docile), small airborne glowing orbs (docile), and an alternate SCP-682 entity (hostile).
SCP-####'s visual properties are often referred to by witnesses as "a glitch in the Matrix". Upon first discovery, Foundation researchers began conducting experiments, often stationed at the containment unit. Eventually, the concept was deemed highly improbable upon the loose confirmation of no existing virtual multi-shell simulation in the current universe or SCP Foundation anomalous object records, and the "Matrix" has been confirmed as purely a figment of pop culture.
Event Log ####-1
The following data is recorded from the event known as the "Echo Chamber Incident".
[DATE REDACTED]
Graphical displays on-site showed a steep increase in the amount of inter-dimensional anomalous activity. The monitors showed a plateau in the graph for several minutes before the data increased a second time. This increase continued at an exponentially increasing rate until researchers witnessed a bright flash of light, the epicenter roughly on the southern edge of the anomaly.
Once the light dissipated and most on-site personnel readjusted to nominal light levels, the terrain, along with the facility's infrastructure, was severely damaged, and traces of inter-dimensional activity rippled outwards on a near-global scale.
A new facility with the primary objective to destroy all evidence of anomalies associated with the incident was installed as a permanent fixture of Site [REDACTED], assuming that a repeated event is possible. This however proved difficult due to the amount of social media posts and stories that appeared to belong to the event, but later presented themselves to be non-anomalous coincidences. All personnel with permanent ocular damage were decommissioned or relocated to stationing at SCP-#### (Code name: "Imperceptible") after undergoing the Cerebral Purge Protocol.
Upon revisiting the data of the event, researchers theorized that SCP-#### had somehow pulled a copy of itself from another universe that was doing the same itself, causing a feedback loop that concluded in disaster. No current data suggests that any of the SCP-#### copies still exist. Experimentation to explain the intact SCP-#### in this universe is authorized until further notice.

Special Containment Procedures
SCP-#### must be contained in a large creature containment cell. Impaired security officers are to be stationed outside the cell at all times, regularly visiting the observation deck to ensure containment is not breached.
Description
SCP-#### is a hostile creature that is only observable via the defunct observatory senses of impaired persons.
Figment of Emotion
Object Class: Keter
Violent
Special Containment Procedures
SCP-#### must be contained in a room with all external surfaces plastered with writing featuring emotional content that opposes its emotional state.
Description
Note from an anonymous source:
They ruined it. Help us fix it.
SCP-#### is a six-legged creature of canine stature. Although images, video feed, and other visual media show it as a simplistic wooden skeleton of its body, the human eyesight perceives it as bright yellow with a few white stripes around the body. Its surface is covered in soft, short fur that appears as if it belongs to a plush toy. black with a few white stripes around the body. Its surface is fleshy and cold to the touch.
SCP-#### has the ability to pass through whatever objects it wishes with ease, the only exception being surfaces with writing and imagery depicting emotions that contradict its emotional state.
SCP-#### is most often playful and extroverted, commonly improving the emotional states and morale of any nearby persons. Due to SCP-####'s exposure to negative emotional content, its behavior has shifted toward violence and isolation. It seems to react more benevolently to those experiencing severe reactions to various emotional mental illnesses, such as depression, anxiety, bipolarity, etc. Curiously, upon encountering someone in the previously listed scenario in isolation, it will sit adjacent to the distressing subject, partially returning to its original appearance. It is hypothesized that it's an act of comfort and empathy, but without some kind of MRE scan, this becomes difficult to confirm. Discussions with the interacted subjects, however, describe feeling unreasonably comfortable during the event.
Addendum
[DATE REDACTED]
The emotional state of SCP-#### has become affected by the method of containment. During its containment breach, [REDACTED] personnel were killed, the only survivors within heavy containment following a pattern of the presence of emotional mental illness.
[DATE REDACTED]
Despite being in constant contact with positive emotional media, the emotional state of SCP-#### has not improved. Similar purpose experiments have also failed to adjust the behavior of the SCP.
The Middleman
Object Class: Keter
Violent, Cognitohazard
Special Containment Procedures
SCP-#### is currently not contained, but measures have been taken to ensure a secure containment facility is created.
Description
SCP-#### is a creature with various illogical abilities. Various records and speculation logs indicate that it has access to abilities including; physical and mental possession, shape-shifting, reincarnation, subconscious suggestion, extreme agility and strength, etc. It has the curious behavior (or in some analysis, habit) of catalyzing war between societies. Although not the cause of all war in human history, its methods of causation are always linked to a singular person.
Although initially the anomalous pattern was considered anti-physical, in recent years, the discovery of the physical entity of SCP-#### rationalized some of the inconsistencies in its behavior.
Due to its warmongering nature, some ancient societies have deemed its work as that of their theological entity of war.
A Foundation Oxymoron
Object Class: Explained
Special Containment Procedures
Due to the understanding of the object, its containment chamber is considered standard. The object is kept on a folding table in the chamber.
Description
SCP-#### is an object that at first glance is completely unremarkable and is technically classified as Explained, due to its "anomalous" property.
Once a person is introduced to the object's existence, SCP-#### is immediately understood completely and in all possible ways. Subjects have reported being able to explain the significance of the object in all sciences, apply all sciences to the object, and breakdown the property of the object that under linguistic definition qualifies as anomalous, regardless of the previous knowledge and intelligence of the subject. This knowledge, however, is unable to be applied to other objects or subjects, and any physical record of the knowledge in direct relation to the object no longer makes any sense when attempting to translate it to other objects or subjects.
Addendum 1
[DATE REDACTED]
According to the recent consensus from the 05 Council, the data previously stored in this section is considered unnecessary. By similar instruction, this document is now required to describe the bare minimum of what the object is. The anomaly, once adequately described, should fill in the remaining information.
