Recovered webcam footage of SCP-B from victim's computer

Item: SCP

Object Class: Euclid Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP is currently contained on Dr. Frederick's computer, located at site-23 in his office. SCP is currently talking to a bot designed to give realistic answers on occasion to the SCP, so that she doesn't leave the chat. He has been given a replacement computer in the event SCP breaks containment, which he uses for official business. SCP has broken containment, see Addendum A.

Description: SCP has two distinct forms, designated as SCP-A and SCP-B. SCP-A is an internet based entity that decides upon an online victim and gets herself into a chat log with it. SCP-A has been found to access social media platforms, IRCs, and downloadable chat clients, using a variety of female names based on American names. The SCP will initiate conversation with the subject, being extremely friendly and pleasant to talk to, flirting when she can. When SCP-A has gotten herself properly acquainted with the victim, she will ask for a face reveal of the victim, and will continually ask for this until the victim has relinquished such a photo. Upon SCP-A receiving a photo of the victim's face, SCP-A will transform into SCP-B, exiting the computer the chat log is located on and entering the physical location the victim is located at.

SCP-B is a black entity in the shape of a teenage girl, estimated to be around 16 years old. It has a red colored "winky face" permanently attached to the facial region, though MTF teams have reported SCP-B has what appears to be a ghostly visage of a screaming face behind the emoticon, unknown whether to be a mask or not. MTF teams have also reported a smell of sulfur around SCP-B. Once SCP-B appears, SCP-B wraps her arms around the victim, hugging them. Crushed ribs are common in victims, but internal bleeding has also been observed in autopsies. SCP-B continues to hug the victim until they expire, dropping them to the floor after they have expired. SCP-B laughs about how they made a new friend, then vanishes completely, presumably for a new victim. When SCP-B vanishes, the computer is crashed in the process, and any attempt to reboot the computer brings up a blue screen that says "If you want to talk to me, you have to friend me! ;)" The entire process can take as long as a few months, to a few hours, depending on how trusting the victim is.

Victims have been reported to be of teenage age, but have been either gender. SCP appears to flirt with male victims, and be more honest with female victims. Based on recovered chat from crashed computers, SCP appears to focus on conversations focused on friendship, longevity of relationships, and the Abrahamic view of hell. Conversations about hell are extremely detailed in her views on it, and while they are similar to some written depictions of hell (most notably Dante's Inferno), her conversations on this topic are seemingly positive.

MTF teams have been able to confront SCP-B repeatedly through use of monitoring various chatlogs and searching for SCP-A. Means of attempting to remove SCP-B from a victim during the course of action has failed, as SCP-B appears to only be tangible for its victim.

Addendum A: As of ██/██/████, SCP is currently uncontained. Bot used to contain her crashed, and Dr. Frederick stepped in to monitor SCP while bot was being fixed. Dr. Frederick's body can be found in frozen storage at site-19, currently undergoing testing for any anomalous properties. Foundation members are advised to monitor new friend requests, as likelihood of her targeting foundation members has seemingly increased. Common names used are: Rebecca, Monika, Rachel, Natalie, and Denise. Statistical evidence shows she most commonly uses Rachel, though reasons for this are unknown.

Addendum B: Throughout years of monitoring SCP, logs have been taken of dislikes and likes of SCP. Attached list is various things SCP has stated to like or dislike, in event such list is needed. Some items have changed from like to dislike or vice versa, and have not been attached to the list.
