The Cube is a compact, translucent cube, with little to no purpose. It is usually stowed, unless tests are being performed upon it. There are many anomalous properties related to The Cube. Subjects that have been around it, say that they have for-seen the future, whilst others suggest that they saw the past. If exposed to the cube for 5 minutes or more, subjects will begin to feel ill, and have a chance to [REDACTED], [REDACTED]; [DATA EXPUNGED]. But that is merely the worst case scenario. Others have felt better than ever, as seen in the case of [REDACTED], where [REDACTED] was cure of a fatal disease. Further testing shows that it makes you the opposite of what you originally were. Some subjects from a happy mood, have shown having a mental breakdown upon contact with the SCP.
Containment
The SCP is to be stowed within a 15 inch thick steel cube, with one hatch allowing access to the cube. It's size changes, but going up to no more than 13.5 inches. The cube is then to be put on 13 inch stilts, of which are also steel. The hatch is to be remotely opened, and cannot be closed by any means other than the remote door control. The stilts are put onto a ceramic floor, 30 cm thick, of which has walls identical to the floor; ceiling. The chamber is to be monitored by cameras, and cameras only, the room where the cameras are viewed, are to be 15 meters away from it's room. Level 3 personnel and above are permitted to enter the camera room that observes the SCP. Access to the chamber is a long process, being locked behind to airlocks and a decontamination room. Whilst entering, personnel are required to decontaminate themselves in said room. Once they enter, they MUST stay 5 meters away from the Cube's cube, in the 10 meter, by 10 meter, by 10 meter room. If they do not comply, subjects are to be terminated once they exit the chamber, unless provoked by the SCP, or someone who wants to see what way the subject will spontaneously combust.
Testing
As stated in previous paragraphs, subjects are to stay 5 meters away from the cube, indicated by the red line. The cube is NOT to be taken out of it's containment chamber, especially past the first airlock. Otherwise, everything around one will suffer rapid unplanned disassembly. Unless permitted, the cube is not to be touched. Side effects of touching can lead to: [DATA EXPUNGED], [REDACTED], Deadly Diseases, Flashbacks of your past, Visions of the future, [DATA EXPUNGED],
Sickness, Disintegration, Combustion, Seizures, [REDACTED], [REDACTED], Death, [REDACTED],
Loss Of Limbs, [DATA EXPUNGED], Unwanted Mutations; more. After receiving contact from any biological substance, the Cube will change colour, according to the subject's emotions. Red usually means anger, and green means happiness. Red usually means the subject dies, whilst green, green means you win the lottery. Or some other things.
Incidents
Of course, an object as strange as this cannot simply keep itself contained, now can it? Due to some incompetence, on several occasions, the Cube has broken out of containment, disintegrating most of all things in it's path. Fortunately, everyone became competent and re-contained the SCP with minimal casualties.
