Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5866 Is to be contained within a 9 m x 12 m x 9 m Wood Casing, at all times. Daily reconstruction of the Wooden crate is required. Security Personnel are recommended to refrain from viewing SCP-5866 directly.

Description: SCP-5866 is a humanoid creature that averages at around 2.52 meters in height. Subject is usually seen covered in a white sheet, with the head exposed and the feet covered in a wet tissue-like substance. Subject has a fair skin tone. Subject will stand in place for weeks or months at a time.

SCP-5866 can be photographed without incident, but all images taken of the subject appear in Black and White, Although the Subject's eyes emit Blood-Red colouring in all images. Facial features of the subject appear as a young man. A smile remains on SCP-5866's face at all times. Subject can also Shrink and grow between 1.28 meters and ████ meters tall. Subject has intelligence, but it is not understood where it stands compared to sapiens.

SCP-5866 will heat any metal it comes in contact with to [DATA EXPUNGED] degrees within a ██ meter radius. Because of this, It must be contained within a wooden crate held together by an adhesive.

SCP-5866 while covered in the white sheet is completely Docile. Subject will not move from it's standing position and can be touched without incident. The wooden crate that contains SCP-5866 is held together with an adhesive, but no matter what is used the wood will begin to separate within three (3) minutes to twenty-four (24) hours. The subject has not been seen attempting to open the crate.

SCP-5866 has an extremely strong mental effect on anyone who views it while the subject is in it's sheet. A voice has been reported attempting to convince the onlooker to remove the sheet, yet the subject does not show any facial movements.

If the sheet containing SCP-5866 is removed, Subject becomes incredibly violent and can no longer be contained within it's crate. SCP-5866's eyes and teeth grow to four (4) times larger than in it's docile state. The body of the subject is large, measuring up to ████ Meters at the shoulders. Blackened spines can be seen protruding from the subject's back. Subject has been observed having zero (0) Muscle mass, but instead is made of an incredibly tough skin, tightly bound to the blackened bones inside. The subject has been proven to be bone all the way through, lacking a circulatory system and all vital organs or blood. Long black tendrils act as hair, usually covering the subject's face entirely.
Subject's hands are three (3) times larger than an adult human head. The fingers are approximately
0.91 meters in length.

SCP-5866 in its Violent state will attack anything that moves within a [DATA REDACTED] distance. Upon catching it's prey, SCP-5866 will proceed to [DATA EXPUNGED] The prey entirely. The subject cannot be harmed in any state. Subject will become docile again once it is covered in a white sheet, and will return to the centre of the wooden crate.

Dr.███████: Why is it so hard for you to green light this? It's caused us nothing but problems. He just sits there for █████ anyways, Why are we wasting our resources on this?

Dr.████: We can't just start removing these things because they're not doing anything. If that's what we did then we'd have to clear out half the facility.

Dr.███████ pulls out multiple photographs of SCP-5866, both clothed and unclothed.

Dr.███████: This thing is a nightmare. Just look at it. What would we possibly lose from removing this… thing from our facilities for good?

Dr.████: If we leave it alone, it can't cause us any problems. The last time we had an incident was because [DATA REDACTED] pulled the sheet off. That was his mistake, and he payed for it.

Dr.███████: Yeah. That's the problem. We can't keep losing such high-level members because of their curiosity. That thing's almost convinced me to pull the sheet off multiple times.
Dr.████: Fine. We'll get ██████ and ███████ to remove SCP-5866. But don't make this a reoccurring thing. We can't just start killing these things because we don't like them. I am formally requesting SCP-5866 be terminated before [DATA EXPUNGED].

SCP-5871

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5871 is to be kept within a standard containment cell, with an exception of sound-proofed walls and a constant flow of electricity connected to SCP-5871 at all times (Except when in use), even in the event of a containment breach.

Description: SCP-5871 is a Phillips brand TV, which looks to have been manufactured sometime in the 1980s It has a wooden front panel, with a metal outline coating everything except the front. Multiple buttons are missing from the right side of the front panel. No buttons on the TV appear to work. The screen to the television produces a constant image of what seems to be a man or child staring at the viewer. The image is very distorted and the TV produces constant static. This image stays on the screen permanently unless the TV is plugged into a power source, in which the TV ceases function.

SCP-5871 was discovered in an old farmhouse north of Calgary, Alberta. It was accidentally uncovered when garbage was being thrown out. The TV began playing a strange melody, unfamiliar to anyone that has heard it. The face appeared on the screen shortly after and began mimicking the sounds of the world around it. It was quickly reported and was picked up without complications by [DATA REDACTED] where it was transferred to Facility ██.

Once SCP-5871 arrived at the Facility, it began playing any sounds that were heard over the speaker systems in the building. It had began increasing volume approximately every 2-4 minutes until sound was blaring and caused temporary hearing loss in multiple staff. subject was then plugged into a wall outlet, where it immediately stopped playing sound and turned off within 30 seconds of being powered.

SCP-5871 when in a soundproof room began to attempt to speak to staff. It has only been observed communicating in Morse code, but it is fully translatable into standard English. Subject has massive amounts of knowledge of all of Alberta. It is believed to know everything that has ever happened within the province. When asked questions about people or places within Alberta, it will provide all important information regarding the topic it has received. Subject has resulted in multiple arrests, and has solved many mysteries within the province.

All staff have been barred from asking SCP-5871 questions about other SCPs. Subject does not seem to understand what an SCP is, and immediately begins to play an ear-shattering screech as soon as any SCP is brought up within its vicinity.

Subject seems to have no knowledge of anything outside of the borders of Alberta. Subject has stated on multiple occasions that only Alberta exists, and that there is nothing else in all of [DATA EXPUNGED]. Wether this is true or not, It is heavily believed SCP-5871 does in-fact come from a separate reality.

There has only ever been 1 recorded attempt of escape by SCP-5871. Subject cannot move on its own, But can manipulate staff into attempting to remove it from the room. If this situation is noticed, electricity is immediately provided to SCP-5871, halting all actions by subject and manipulated staff.

Multiple attempts by staff to question subject about its origin or who is on the TV have resulted in failure. If any personal questions are asked, SCP-5871 will [DATA REDACTED], or will cease function for 2-4 weeks. Subject does not get aggravated if asked personal questions.
