Item #: SCP-XXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures
Due to the nature of SCP-XXX, an outpost designated research site XXX, has been constructed around the mountain top that SCP-XXX is located. A chain link wire fence, set approximately 100 meters
away from SCP-XXX in every direction is to be maintained and checked daily for damage by on site personnel. Signs reading "keep out, private property" written in Nepali, English and Chinese
are placed intermittently along the fence These signs double as hidden 360 degree cameras, giving a full view of the perimeter of the SCP-XXX compound.
If any unauthorised civilian or foundation personnel are discovered on the site, they are to be detained for no less than 8 hours and examined, to determine weather or not they are under the
effects of SCP-XXX. If within the 8 hours there are no signs of SCP-XXX influence they are to be administered class C amnestics and returned to a safe location no less that 1 kilometre away from
research site XXX. If signs of SCP-XXX influence are shown, then the person is to be classified as an instance of SCP-XXX-2 and reported to site 84 for further instructions. Most of these
SCP-XXX-2 instances will be terminated via forced hypothermia, and their bodies are to be left out in the open. The placement of these bodies is to be determined by on site security staff, taking
care to insure that these deaths seem accidental.
In the event that site 84 command deems it necessary to keep an instance of SCP-XXX-2 alive they are to be gagged and detained until transport to site 84 arrives.
Located within the compound is a small building capable of comfortably housing 4 personnel, but able to house up to 6, if required. There is also another building, of similar size, which houses
SCP-XXX-1, however, outside of testing, no personnel are permitted to be alone with SCP-XXX in his house for more than 4 hours, ideally limiting SCP-XXX-1's contact with other humans to
deliveries of supplies, and exchange of research information about SCP-XXX.
Radio contact is to be established at least once day for a minimum of 30 minutes to determine if any on site personnel have been affected by SCP-XXX's influence. If either radio contact fails, or
any of the on site staff are determined to be under the effect of SCP-XXX a containment breach is to be declared, and MTF Sigma-9 "Truth Serum" is to be dispatched to terminate all on site
personnel, with the exception of SCP-XXX-1. Under no circumstances is SCP-XXX-1 to be terminated
Under no circumstances are personnel other than SCP-XXX-1 to approach SCP-XXX. It has been determined that a minimum of 10 meters away from SCP-XXX is safe, and a high visibility perimeter line
has been drawn around the object.
Description
SCP-XXX is a shrine to a god only referred too as "the god of lies" due to the fact that by nature any names given by the god can not be trusted. It is believed that the shrine consists of a marble
obelisk, approximately 3.5 meters in height, and a granite base measuring approximately 3 meters by 3 meters . Carved into every surface of both the granite obelisk and granite base are inscriptions
of phrases in approximately 350 different languages, most of which are dead or never before seen. This shrine is located at the peak of mount [blank] in the Himalayan ranges.
SCP-XXX's anomalous effects are activate either through contact with SCP-XX or being infected due too extended contact with either SCP-XXX-1 or SCP-XXX-2. Once under the influence of SCP-XXX
SCP-XXX-1 is former German archaeological researcher Dr. Siegfried Kurtz, who, while working for {name}, a private collector of rare ancient artifacts. During his time working for {name},
Dr. Kurtz came across SCP-XXX and subsequently fell under it's influence. Using his connection with {name} Dr. Kurtz managed to bring 183 people under the influence of SCP-XXX, including 14 other
employees of {name}, 168 civilians, and {name} himself. All victims of SCP-XXX's influence were classified as instances of SCP-XXX-2 and detained. After amnestics proved insufficient
