1. SCP-5088: "That Kid"

Dr. ███████ requested that all mentions of his child's and his own given names, the mentions of locations, and the pronouns of his child are removed from the document.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5088 is to be monitored from their Studio Apartment, which are located within the ████████ District in the City of █████████. A team of seven Foundation Field Agents are to monitor the subject's behavior indefinitely, recording logs of the subject's daily activities and reporting them back to Dr. █████ ███████. The subject is not to be directly interacted with or made aware that it is being monitored. Anomalous behavior such as; noticed distortion of time, materials, or the perception of reality are to be immediately reported to Dr. █████ ███████ and it will be decided if extraction of the subject is necessary.

In the case of a failed extraction, termination of the subject is necessary. If not, the subject may become aware of the Foundation and cause serious damage to recorded files.

Description: SCP-5088 is a human ████ standing at ████ and weighing █████. SCP-5088 is ██ years old and is of ███████ descent, with ████ hair and ████ eyes. The subject's physical appearance is nothing out of the ordinary in regards to the rest of humanity, their brain, however, is the focal point of its anomalous properties.

Dr. ███████ is the subject's biological father and raised the subject during infancy, childhood, and adolescence. Dr. ███████ discovered the subject's anomalous properties on May 8th, 20██ while performing tests on ███████'s immediate family as a part of ██████'s experiment, which hoped to better understand and be able to scientifically prove consciousness. The ████ test revealed brain activity in SCP-5088 that revealed what ███████ believed was the scientific proof of consciousness he was looking for, however, he was unable to discover any brain activity of that variety in any of his other test subjects. Dr. ███████ continued his tests on three dozen other participants, also continuing to study SCP-5088's abnormal brain activity and as he did so, he reported in his logs how "began to realize [he] couldn't truly comprehend it, it was like looking at a four-dimensional object, nay, maybe a fifth or sixth" (███████ 4).

Dr. ██████ assigned the subject to a psychologist, Dr. Oscar Mueller, also a member of the Foundation. Under the guise of therapy to deal with the subject's reported depression, Mueller studied the subject, discovering how they thought, and their level of comprehension. Mueller was astounded at his discoveries, discovering how quickly the subject could learn new languages and remember obscure patterns. Mueller later proposed the subject simply had Photographic Memory, however, ███████ insisted that the tests continue. Mueller completely rescinded his photographic memory idea when the subject began to report "Predicting conversations" (14). Mueller and ███████ came to the conclusion that SCP-5088 was a likely Class I reality bender who did not have a grasp on its abilities, and submitted SCP-5088 to the program.

While being monitored by Foundation Field Agents, SCP-5088 has continued therapy sessions with Dr. Mueller, with more effort being put forward to discover SCP-5088's true abilities.
