Description:
SCP-XXXX appears to be a fully sapient volcanic mountain located near ████,Northwest Terretory , Canada. SCP-XXXX is roughly 400 Meters in height, including several caves and a roughly 20 Meters¹ wide lava pit on top. It can communicate by causing Vibrations, spelling out words with lava or rock, with apparent knowledge of all languages, and by creating images, often facial expressions, with the top lava pit. Research has shown that certain parts of the mountain are like body parts to the anomaly, for example only being able to hear and understand words when said in close proximity to a cave.

SCP-XXXX first came to the attention of the Foundation on the 08/10/2019, when a Video of SCP-XXXX interacting with a hiker, Oliver Sams, was posted on [REDACTED], quickly gaining much attention within mere minutes. As soon as this Was noticed by the foundation, the post was removed, a group of Foundation Personnel were sent out to the presumed location, Oliver Sams was retrieved for questioning and all 1,563 civilians that saw the footage were given class A Amnestics.

████ Leste: Hello, Mr. Sams, would you mind telling us again where you were hiking and what you think you saw?

Oliver Sams: Alright, look, uhh I know it sounds crazy when I say it, but like, trust me, alright? I know you government drones dont have much creativity or anything, but like, I have everything I saw on Camera! So I am not crazy or something like that! I Litterally posted it on social Media, Alright? If you don't believe me just go check it out and you'll see!

Oliver Sams: Okay, so uh there was like this Volcanoe and when I walked up to that lava crater it had in it, the lava spelled out 'hi'. So I flipped out and pulled out my Camera. I said hi back and then boom! The words changed to 'How are you doing'!

████ Leste: And then?

Oliver Sams: Well, I just had to get the word out there, right? And then before I know what's going on a bunch of Men in Black looking guys come out of nowhere, and stuff me in their fucking Truck! By the way, I'm pretty sure whatever it is you're doing here is illegal. I have rights you know? Just because you're the FBI or CIA or whatever doesn't mean you can treat me like shit! I am an american Citizen for gods sake! Where is my Attorney anyway?

Subject: D-2481

Procedure: Subject was asked to approach lava pit and engage in small talk with SCP-XXXX

Results: Subject successfully talked for 15 minutes, until the conversation shifted toward crimes committed by D-2481 before coming into foundation custody, upon which SCP-XXXX refused any to continue the interaction

Perhaps SCP-XXXX has some sense of morality? Or perhaps next time we should get someone that didn't strangle his wife to death

Test B- 01/11/2019

Subjects: Researcher Lockland, D-2965 and Junior Researcher smith

Procedure: With the consent of SCP-XXXX, a cave expedition was conducted.

Results: After 32 minutes of exploration, the cave was rapidly fludded with lava, severly injuring D-2965 and Junior Researcher smith. When questioned about this, SCP-XXXX claimed quote "I had to sneeze".

Test C - 05/12/2019

Subject: Dr. Sawden

Procedure: Several pieces of Literature, poems and stories from several different languages were chosen to be read out to SCP-XXXX to see how it would react

Results: SCP-XXXX emitted soft vibrations, comparable to a purring sound throughout the test.
