Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard containment locker at Storage Site 10. SCP-XXXX must be left inside of a cup at all times, as to prevent it from relocating itself. Testing of SCP-XXXX must be authorized by two personnel of level three clearance or higher. When being moved to a testing chamber, eye contact is not to be made with SCP-XXXX. When it has reached the testing chamber, it must be placed on the ground in the middle of the room.
Anyone wishing to view the test must do so with the security blinds closed, and must watch using a camera.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an eight inch tall orange drinking straw made out of plastic.
The top two inches of SCP-XXXX can be moved or bent around, as is common with most drinking straws. SCP-XXXX has the ability to teleport itself inside of nearby cups.
if SCP-XXXX is unable to fit inside of the cup, or the bottom of SCP-XXXX can not reach a liquid, it will relocate itself to another cup.
Subjects who view SCP-XXXX will feel urged to locate a drinkable liquid. If a liquid is found, they will begin to fill the cup with it, usually until it is around two thirds full. The subject will then put their mouth around the top of SCP-XXXX, and begin to suck up the liquid, drinking it.
Once the subject takes their mouth off of SCP-XXXX, blood will begin to drain from the their body. The amount that is drained from them will be equivalent to what they had drank from the cup. Subjects will then continue to refill and drink from the cup. The subject will then continue to drink from the cup until they either pass out or expire. Subjects will express pain while drinking from SCP-XXXX, but will continue to do so anyway. Currently, the only known ways of separating Subject's from SCP-XXXX is either by killing them, or by pulling them away.
Addendum XXXX-1:
SCP-XXXX was first discovered on ██/██/19██ at site ██, when Dr. Brady was found with pale skin and drinking from SCP-XXXX. Dr. Brady was given medical attention, and it was revealed that he was having a hypovolemic shock. SCP-XXXX and the cup it was in was later found to be the cause of this, and were both moved to a containment locker for later examination.
