D R A F T: SCP - 9403
SAFE

APPEARANCE

SCP - 9403 resides as a quadruped, pitch black shadow-like entity, with no fabrics of fur, but does have skin of some type, and horns that protrude from the head. If it stood, it would be approximately six feet tall. It is fairly thin, slouching over like an animal and walking on quads like an animal would.
The entity seems to be somewhat eldritch, with nothing else visible but it's body shape and white dots for eyes.

INTERACTIONS

SCP - 9403 is compliant to be interviewed, as it has the ability to speak. When it does speak, it seems that the voice coming from the entity is female, but no one knows for sure. The facility personnel only assumes that it is female, and calls it so, however this document will continue to keep the object as an "it".

The specimen, when interacted with D-Class personnel, seems to push further into the corner of it's cell. What it fears is yet to be determined. If personnel try to touch it, the object hisses in fear, spitting a shadow-type acid around itself to warn the personnel to go away. A defense mechanism.

When alone and unsupervised by researchers, the anomaly will lay in the center of the cell and start to mope, repeating sentences such as "I am going to die", or "Why can't we get along?", and when it was questioned about this behavior, it kept crying mid interview, unable to complete the questioning.

EFFECTS

The object, as stated before, has a shadow-acid defense mechanism. The acid dissolves fabric, cloth, polyester, and many other fabric-like materials, which are mainly used for clothing, toys, rugs, and so forth.

However, when the acid is applied to normal skin, nothing happens. When the acid is applied to damaged skin, or skin covered with acne or strange marks, they disappear with a burning sensation, similar to hydrogen peroxide, minus the wound.

When the acid is injected into the body via syringe or I.V cord, the personnel will fall asleep. Upon coming back to consciousness, the personnel will no longer feel the need to eat or sleep, until the eventually die from having critical conditions of the two.

The acid, when taken orally via drink, pill, or mixed in with food, will cause the personnel to feel what the creature feels mentally. This comes along with anxiety, paranoia, depression, and eventually [REDACTED] from how intense the emotions get. Rarely the intake causes alcoholism.

CONTAINMENT

When a breach occurs, most of the time most objects do escape, however this entity stays in its cell, staring at the open door, as if it were thinking of escape, but knowing it may die if it tries. It has never tried to breach, but with that, the facility uses the creature to help other entities back into their cells if they breach.

An example of this routine would be similar to SCP - 9403's help to contain ●●/●●●●●/●●/●. It is able to somehow escape the grasp of ●●/●●●●●/●●/●, as SCP - 9403's skin has a slimy, acid like substance that secretes from the skin when threatened by touch, making it easy for it to escape, after it is ordered to speak of ●●/●●●●●/●●/● to help with containment. The two seem to have a bond of sorts which is platonic and friendly.

If this entity was to breach, however, it does admit, (in an interview), that it would try to free the other objects in the facility. "They do not deserve to die here. It can be peaceful. They can be peaceful. What other choice do we have?"
