Special Containment Procedures:SCP-5268 is to be kept in a room the size of 30 meters by 30 meters at all times. In case of a facility wide power outage, two lead based blast doors are to be automatically shut via negative charge doors, which open when power is connected, and close when power is disconnected. Upon the doors shutting, all personnel are to be evacuated immediately to the nearest safe area, it is recommended that any personnel required to come into intimately close contact with SCP-5268 wear radiation protective suits, and have a stun gun on them at all times, for pacification purposes. 3 guards are to be posted outside the testing room at all times, along with an additional 3 guarding the door leading to SCP-5268s cell. The room is to be kept at minimum light or no light at all times, and is to be kept at 55 degrees fahrenheit exactly, at all times.
No personnel below level 3 are allowed near SCP-5268 Under any circumstance, said personnel must then be escorted by level 3 security officers to the testing chambers, this is to be an enclosed space overlooking the containment cell, the glass overlooking the room, must be tinted to block all light going into the room. In the event of the glass shattering, all personnel are to shut off the lights and stay quiet.
Description:SCP-5268 is a humanoid like figure, which resembles an imperial japanese officer, except this officer is very badly burned, and scarred from radiation burns, his uniform is greyed and a little charred. The entity was found in [REDACTED] Japan after regional researchers read unusually high radiation levels coming from the [REDACTED] District. Upon the discovery of the entity it [REDACTED] and charged the scientists, two were killed while the other two got out with only minor injuries. the officer speaks in japanese only although small changes to english have been noted, and only speaks in small sentences. With what little DNA could be extracted, the officer does not match any citizen records, or military records according to a foundation agent embedded in the japanese government. SCP-5268 is hostile to all humans, and prefers a quick four legged run across the floor at record speeds of one hundred and fifty miles per hour, it will stop right behind its target, and pull it into the darkness. The entity hates bright lights, but will only cower from them for about 15 seconds, before becoming over agitated, and trying to kill anyone in the room. SCP-5268 emits a strong radioactive pulse nearly the size of the containment room. When wall and floor repairs are necessary, d-class personnel are to take two flashlights per four people in order to keep the entity bound to its spot in order for the other d-class personnel to apply plaster or any other substances that hardens to cover cracks. When no repair is necessary, scientists attempting to talk to the entity through an english to japanese translation program, only get small responses back, like, “What is your name?” “No name.” “What is your rank?” “Rikugun-Shōshō.” Which translates to major general or brigade general. It has been noted that when in a dark and chilly room, the entity is somewhat willing to talk, but if a question is asked that the entity doesn’t like, he will go quiet for twenty four hours. This entity also appears to have the vision of a nocturnal animal, as any attempts to work in the dark, result in failure. SCP-5268 exhibits one major anomalous property that has been documented. When it attacks and pulls someone into the darkness, no remnants of them are ever found, no hairs, skin cells or even saliva, no blood or bone, nothing is left. However the foundation has heard reports that remains testing positive to matching the person in question, are found seemingly at random around the world. Research into this is ongoing. Results: Success
Analysis: A block of meat with an implanted tracker was given to SCP-5268 via a robotic arm, SCP-5268 inspected it, and after a little thought pulled it into the darkness, after a moment of losing connection with the tracker, it reappeared and it was seen moving very fast, by the current coordinates, the block of meat, and the tracker, have left our solar system.
