Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be kept in a containment cell with dimensions of 5m x 5m x 8m, composed of standard cement walls with no external exposure to light. The cell should also contain a standard sized "closet" and bed, as well as a table with a single source of light in the center of the room with no more than 1lm of light. At 2m from the cieling, there should be at least one beam running from one end of the cell to the other for SCP-XXXX to perch on. Adhere to its requests for personal accommodations to its cell. Deny all requests for communication devices. Introduce docile mammalian creatures regularly as well as a human subject (class D personnel) when SCP-XXXX is not in a sentient state. All Personnel who enter must first illuminate room to full brightness with no shadows before opening cell and once inside must use a specialized flashlight of 1lm after lights return to normal.
SCP-XXXX must be presented with docile animals (rabbits, birds etc.) for a week before introducing a class D personnel for observation. After selected docile animal has been introduced, and begins to go into a vegetative state during the day, remove animal after an hour. SCP-XXXX will show signs of behavior similar to selected docile animals. During the course of this process, interview and record the preferences of selected class D personnel, focusing on memories with significant importance and opinionated decisions, as well as aspirations and previous significant life decisions. Description: SCP-XXXX is an creature of unknown species origin. It is difficult to examine the specimen as it distorts visual perception of itself through all observation equipment. Observations are possible in spaces with less than 1lm of light within a 1m radius to the source, any exposure to light greater than this will result in its disappearance.
According to on-site observations, SCP-XXXX appears as a black, indistinguishable humanoid biped, with legs of canidae structure, an upper human-like torso and arms, that appear to severely lack nourishment. When standing upright, SCP-XXXX appears to be roughly 2.2m in height, otherwise the creature has a height of roughly 60cm when walking on all-fours.
