This is perhaps about halfway finished now. Naturally, everything above the 'item number' will be either removed or commented out (well, besides the tab stuff) before I send this off for actual draft review. I mean, I guess it's getting some review in the IRC when I throw it up there every once in a while, but I'm considering that as a bit more informal, whereas putting it up on the forum will be for when I'm nearly ready to put it up. Coldposting will not be done.
Things to do: add more things to make it less of a ripoff of the idea source. Add an addendum or two, possibly including interviews. Possibly collaborate with others in order to do so.
Secondary nickname: The Bookworm.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be housed in a standard animal containment unit appropriate for its size. It is to be fed one novel-length book twice a week. At no point is blank paper to be brought into its chamber, or anywhere that it can perceive it, except during approved testing. Blank pages inside a book do not count. If a novel-length book is not available, a few smaller books may be substituted. No sort of classified information should be stored within 10 meters of SCP-XXXX's chamber.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a paper worm that resembles a large annelid. A pair of 'eyes' consisting of red circles, with the center being the same white as the rest of it, are on one end, near the mouth. It is folded in the style of origami, and appears to be made from only one piece of paper. It consumes the pages from books. How exactly it derives nutritional value from this, or why it needs to eat at all, is unknown.

In addition, it can manipulate any blank paper that it can perceive. Depending on the amount, it can create various shapes out of the paper without needing to touch it. While any weapons it may create are still made out of paper and thus can not do as much damage as a real weapon, the possibility of it creating tools with which to breach containment is present.

SCP-XXXX is capable of communication, including speech. It has proven fairly cooperative and has not attempted to breach containment so far. It retains all knowledge from books or other paper with written text on them that it eats.

Addendum: [To be done]
