First Draft Brainstorming:
SCP similar to Jaded Ring, basically handheld object (in the following cases a ring but could be other things) with unique powers. Obviously fits the wearer perfects
Have several ideas in mind that would work with rings, but 2 possibilities:
1. Two rings with several interactions, being:
-When one is worn
I term this idea the "Ring of cut" or something of that nature. Basically, when the ring is worn by someone (which is recognized by anomalous properties) the gem portion of it can cut any organic material (to some extent maybe to not overpower it). Unfortunately I've realized this is rather similar to SCP- 2207 and even considerably weaker and cliché so this idea is likely nada
-When the other is worn
I term this idea the "Ring of cuts" because lazy repetition is my jam. When this ring is worn, the wearer will feel as though they are being put through a dangerous yet extremely thorough training regime. As such, they are likely to receive "cuts". However, after the regime is over, they will become much stronger as a result of it, so this is a good option for people like faculty guards.
-When both are worn by different people
I term this idea the "Rings of cuts" because See Above. When two different people put on these rings, they will gain two abilities.
a. To know where the other ring holder is located.
b. To have physical and mental pain separated between them. This is more complicated then the other ability, but for example: Researchers A and B put on the rings. A will never feel pain (E.g. Their mind is immune to damage), but can be cut or killed naturally. B will never be cut (Their physical body is immune to damage), but will feel pain and still can be killed. Duly noted: B is also more likely to go insane
-When both are worn by the same person
Idk I haven't though of anything yet… However if anyone could thing of a Rings of Cut theme I would probably gratefully accept it.
Note: These ideas are all considered Safe Class as they are easily understood for the most part and can be contained in a standard box behind locked doors.
2. Several different SCPs with powers that are unique to themselves, same characteristics as above but split as mentioned. No need for additional writing here because the ideas are the same as in 1.
Origin.
It's hardest to think of an origin point, as I really like the idea of safe class wearable objects and wish to make more, so maybe a location in a shop would be nice. In the back of a shop there would exist an entrance to rooms upon rooms of a ring (meaning each room only has a single ring or two, each of which could be classified as an SCP). These rooms are nondescript, but people walking through it might get the sense that they are walking between space and time. This location could in itself be classified as an SCP.
