Silvius Felix's Sandbox

Proceed With Caution.

Object ID: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be held in a room with a steel cage in a very lowly populated area. No personnel are permitted to enter the containment unit. The containment is very low because SCP-XXXX can only affect personnel within a 7 foot radius of SCP-XXXX.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a cubic metal box with many scrapings on it. The metal to this day is still unknown. SCP-XXXX seems to always be emitting a form of radiation that is not harmful, but seems to cause nearby entities to feel curious and say they hear a low-pitched sound coming from the box. Doctor ██████ can not seem why this takes place, because it only happens to certain entities. If an entity enters a seven foot radius of SCP-XXXX, then they start to feel an urge to touch or feel the box. If the entity makes contact with SCP-XXXX, then they will do everything in their power to keep in contact with the box. If they are taken out of contact with SCP-XXXX, then they will keep feeling the urge to touch the box, and will start to feel symptoms of depression, anxiety, and sometimes low grade fever. This will continue to get worse the longer the entity is removed from SCP-XXXX. Eventually, the entity will find a way to commit suicide. If the entity that has made contact with SCP-XXXX is allowed to proceed touching the object, after a few hours SCP-XXXX will start to get hot, and the subject will still hold on. After 5 hours, SCP-XXXX will be extremely hot and the entity will be screaming in pain, but still holding on. The reasons for this are still unknown. After 7 ½ hours, the box will be so hot that the room temperature has far exceeded 115° and the entity is starting to experience vital organ failure, and brain cells are starting to die. Soon, the entity will die and SCP-XXXX will stop increasing in heat. If two entities have been allowed to be in contact with SCP-XXXX at the same time, then they will show extreme violence until one of the entities has died. After one has died, the effects of SCP-XXXX continue. Every time a subject is killed by SCP-XXXX, then SCP-XXXX will slightly grow in size depending on the size of the entity, but none of the subject seems to be missing. Though the subject has burns covering their body, no matter has been taken. SCP-XXXX is made of a metal that is known to have no other state than a solid. Tests have been run by Doctor ███████ to see if SCP-XXXX can be affected, but all tests turned out negative. The facility still does not know how the scratches got there, because even the most powerful machines in the facility can not effect SCP-XXXX in any way. The scratches on the side of SCP-XXXX include what looks like the sun, some type of writing that can not be read or recognized, and a strange shaped humanoid being. Scientists gather more information about SCP-XXXX and find that it is not from this world or anywhere near this world, because no substance is known to be this stable. SCP-XXXX is only known to interact with living entities, but special entities are cast away from it, feeling scared of SCP-XXXX and will experience major anxiety. If the entity is locked within the 7-foot radius of SCP-XXXX, then they will do everything in their power to try and destroy SCP-XXXX, and SCP-XXXX will start getting colder. Eventually, SCP-XXXX will get cold enough that the entity freezes to death, and SCP-XXXX will shrink in size depending on the size of the entity. If two special entities are trapped with SCP-XXXX, then they will work together to attempt to destroy SCP-XXXX, and one will eventually give up and commit suicide. However, if the special entities both commit suicide, then SCP-XXXX will increase in size and half of the entity will seem to be missing.
