A security camera is to monitor the growth of new SCP-5517-1 instances, and extermination by the use of incendiary ammunition is to be applied to prevent their maturation on a case-by-case basis. Additionally, instances of SCP-5517-1 and SCP-5517-2 found outside containment are to the incinerated immediately. Personnel responsible for the containment of SCP-5517 is to be composed exclusively of female individuals. All male staff required to enter the enclosure of SCP-5517 is to wear noise-cancelling protection gear throughout the assignment.
Description: SCP-5517 is an organism of unknown species resembling a pale tree. SCP-5517's outer structure presents bilateral symmetry and is made of collagen fibers and calcium phosphate. The interior consists mostly of stem cells, but occurrences of other ordinary cells, tissues, and organs related to the kingdoms Animalia and Plantae have been identified. Several organic structures of unknown function have also been reported.
A cylindrical organ at the anterior end of SCP-5517 can emit vocalizations of unpredictable frequency and intensity, with the effect of inducing male animals into a highly sexually active trance.
