Item #: SCP-[add it in later]
Index: Black Goo
Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-[insert]'s cell is to be equipped with air conditioning systems and kept at the maximum temperature of 15o Celsius. Each instance of SCP-[insert] is contained within a 2x2 glass box within a Medical Refrigerator. Said medical refrigerator must have a temperature set below water freezing point, or 0o celsius at all times, to keep SCP-[add later] within a dormant state. The floor of its cell is made of steel, having been seen as a more effective material to keep the internal temperature of its cell cold in cases of a breach. SCP's cell must be kept clean of all creatures from the kingdom Animalia.

In cases of testing, all researchers and security personnel involved within contact with SCP-[insert] must wear clothing that provides full coverage of skin or any crevices where SCP-[insert] may enter. Researches and security personnel that have healing injuries or undergoing pregnancy are not advised to approach SCP-[insert] to avoid unwanted accidents.

Subjects affected by SCP-[insert] directly (SCP-[Insert] having entered their body,) will automatically be considered a lost cause and security personnel are authorized to terminate the subject if needed and re-containment of SCP-[insert] will proceed. Alternatively, with permission from the appropriate superior bodies and researcher in charge of SCP-[Insert], security personnel may sedate the affected subject and secure it for containment and further research.

No removal process of SCP-[insert] from a biological body whilst keeping said body alive is known as of yet.

Description:
SCP-[insert] takes the form of black goo. It is able to mimic items in a 10-foot radius or its line of supposed visibility. It is not able to pose any physical threat in and of itself, and hence it will attach itself in a symbiotic take-over process upon an insect, animal, or human. Their choice of host is based upon their ranking within the natural food order, in which it will choose hosts based on their position in said order (See Addendum T-[insert]-01.)
