Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a containment cell that has an area no less than 30"x30" and is made out of any non-biological substance capable of withstanding burns. Two Class 3 Personnel are to enter the containment chamber armed with military grade flamethrowers, wearing level 3a bulletproof vests. The personnel are then instructed to avoid SCP-XXXX as best as they can while continually attacking it with the provided weapons two (2) times daily in order to keep the specimen at a desirable strength. No personnel under Class 3 are allowed into the containment chamber unless permitted by a Class 3 and protected by two (2) to three (3) more. No more than four (4) biological specimens are permitted within the room at a time.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a sapient mass of countless mosquitoes. The mosquitoes represent the form of an adult male, and will walk as if it were one. The mosquitoes seem to be controlled by a yet unknown non-physical mind, and will move in unison with one another to create fluid, human-like movements. SCP-XXXX will not target any species biological unless seen (excluding the plantae series).
SCP-XXXX can sense any biological presence from each direction possible. Once seen, the anomaly will enter its predator sequence. SCP-XXXX will then follow its prey until it reaches arm's length, in which it will physically attack the prey to stagger it and will then envelop the biological form using (at least) one third (1/3) of the mosquitoes within the mass. SCP-XXXX will then exit its predator sequence, leaving everything but the blood in the body of its prey. SCP-XXXX then begins to wander back to its hunting spot, where it will search until the predator sequence activates again.
After the predator sequence has ended, SCP-XXXXs mosquitoes will reproduce rapidly. This will cause the SCP to enlarge depending on how many liters of blood the prey had. Testing has shown that when reproducing after six (6) humans have been drained, the mass will split into a second form. The second form will move to another hunting spot, in which the hunting process begins again. The reproduction cycle happens idly as well, however, it will proceed under a much larger amount of time. As while the circumstance of the prey being consumed in which the reproduction cycle happens afterward, it takes around one (1) minute in order to finish. As for the circumstance where the creature is not attacking, chasing, or otherwise performing any action excluding walking takes around 10 hours to become as large as it would be if it were to drink from 4 humans.
Addendum SCP-XXXX-1: A note was found in the ravaged, dilapidated and hollow home of the family name Woodrow by a group of four (4) hikers and reported to the foundation after the mysterious disappearance of 3 of them.
When they brought the torches, the cannibal realized what they intended. He roared out that they did not have the power to kill him and even burned to ash he would feed on them.
Afterwards, two forms of SCP-XXXX were found searching thoroughly through the area, in which both were captured for testing purposes.
