Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: A perimeter is to be held under quarantine around SCP-XXXX-1 at about 5 Km away from the subject, bordered by a 10 ft. tall barbed fence. Along the outer rim of the quarantined area, warning signs have been installed to alert the threat of dangerous wildlife to decrease the risk of pedestrians trespassing into the containment area. Trespassing can result in sustaining fatal injury or potential abduction from an instance(s) of SCP-XXXX-2. A series of fumigation sprinklers have been put in place 1.5 Km² into the containment area releasing a potent dose of halothane. To avoid any personnel being rendered under the effects of the anesthetics, it’s required that all subjects be issued respirators before being sent in for any testing involving SCP-XXXX. Mobile Task Force Epsilon-12 must do the same before deployed on site.
Surveillance cameras have been installed on both the outer perimeter of and 1 Km into the quarantined area. These cameras feedback to an outpost where SCP-XXXX is to be monitored at all times by no less than 12 personnel. All staff stationed at said outpost must alert Site-[REDACTED] immediately after sighting trespassers past the perimeter border in order for Mobile Task Force Epsilon-12 to be sent in for recovery of trespassing individuals, and have them sent to Site-[REDACTED] to be administered Class-A amnestics and properly returned to their daily lives. Personnel are also instructed to keep watch for any instance(s) of SCP-XXXX-2 leaving the containment area. As of the writing of this document, there have been no reported cases of such an incident occurring.
Every week, 2 Foundation personnel with Level 3 clearance must be escorted by an MTF unit to SCP-XXXX-1, once on Monday, and once on Friday. This is done to confirm which members of the Foundation have duplicates of themselves in SCP-XXXX-1 so that they may be sent in for testing, as SCP-XXXX-2 instances will only allow access to SCP-XXXX-1 if the person in question is “an on staff member of the facility.”
Prior to sending any personnel into SCP-XXXX-1 for testing, it is crucial to advise any test subjects to prevent from mentioning SCP-XXXX’s nonexistence anywhere inside of SCP-XXXX-1 to reduce the threat of any instance(s) of SCP-XXXX-2 initiating the Rebirth Procedure and losing the lives of any personnel in the quarantined area. All test subjects are not permitted to remove objects under any circumstance from the containment area to prevent initiating the Rebirth Procedure.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomaly comprising of 3 different entities: SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2, and SCP-XXXX-3.
SCP-XXXX-1 is a white colored building, uniformed as a facility operating for the Foundation under the title Site-[REDACTED] (funnily enough, this is not censored information, rather the literal designated title of the facility, according to instances of SCP-XXXX-2.) Upon the discovery of the anomaly in ███████████, New Jersey, Administration had requested rigorous questioning amongst all personnel on staff as to the origins of SCP-XXXX-1, as there are no records of a Site-[REDACTED] being constructed or active under the Foundation. No answers could be given by personnel, with all evaluated claiming to not have known of a Site-[REDACTED] up until questioning.
The exterior of SCP-XXXX-1 does not bear resemblance to any existing SCP Foundation facility, which contradicts its interior always taking after the layout of an existing facility, even extending to the accurate copying and placement of decor, and the duplication of the original facility's electronics stored with data identical to its authentic counterpart.
SCP-XXXX-1 harbors instances of SCP-XXXX-2, humanoid biped creatures that have no distinguishable physical features from that of human beings. These organisms behave as Site-[REDACTED]’s on-site personnel, acting on schedules and carrying out duties in no manner different to that of actual Foundation staff. Test subjects sent into SCP-XXXX-1 requested to attempt interaction with instances of SCP-XXXX-2 have reported feeling no different communicating with SCP-XXXX-2 instances than humans, noting their ability to understand and portray emotion, varying degrees in intelligence from individual to individual, and exhibiting basic to advanced speaking skills.
The only notable anomalous trait SCP-XXXX-2 instances have which differentiates themselves from humans is their tendency to take after the appearances of different Foundation personnel worldwide. All instances of SCP-XXXX-2 have exhibited, along with shared physical appearances of Foundation personnel, identical behaviors, memories, personalities, and interests as well. Until any successful missions to abduct and contain an instance/instances of SCP-XXXX-2 have been made, there is no method of gathering biological samples to determine if SCP-XXXX-2 instances share identical organs/organ structure or biological makeup between the anomalous organisms and humans. SCP-XXXX-2 instances also have the tendency to abduct any trespassing persons and accept them in for use as D Class personnel, if not terminate trespassers.
Due to SCP-XXXX’s location, all SCP-XXXX-2 instances are only capable of speaking modern English, no matter if the person an instance has taken after has knowledge of multiple languages other than English or has no understanding of the English language.
Additionally, SCP-XXXX-1 houses duplicates of existing SCP subjects that have been contained by the Foundation, along with reverted Neutralized SCP subjects, SCP subjects that have yet to be discovered by the Foundation (see Addendum XXXX-C,) and even [DATA EXPUNGED].
If an instance of SCP-XXXX-2 were to initiate eye or physical contact with their authentic counterparts or hear mention of the impossibility of the existence of SCP-XXXX, it will transition from being an SCP-XXXX-2 subject to an SCP-XXXX-3 subject.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-3 have been reported as bipedal organisms in a similar appearance to humans, but lack any fingers, replaced with pitch black nubs where the finger connects to the hand, and an absence of any facial features apart from two eyes which have been fully colored black. Attempts to harm SCP-XXXX-3 have proven the subject impossible to incapacitate. SCP-XXXX-3 will begin to chase after their authentic counterparts at a “steady jogging pace” until it has successfully made physical contact with it's target. Because all test subjects immediately cease talking once having made contact with SCP-XXXX-3, there has yet to be a solid conclusion on what happens to individuals after this occurs.
Immediately afterwards, the Rebirth Procedure will begin to take place. The interior of the facility will alter in appearance, taking after that of another Foundation owned facility. All instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are replaced with different duplicates of Foundation personnel, and the same applies to any SCP subjects in SCP-XXXX-1. The exterior of the facility, however, keeps the same appearance, never altering with each Rebirth Procedure. Following the Rebirth Procedure, the nearby town of ███████████, New Jersey and the area surrounding it in a 2 Km radius will begin to experience a Category 3 earthquake, and temporary power outages lasting about an hour. Let it be known that the Rebirth Procedure is also put into effect once SCP-XXXX-1 experiences its own containment breach, replacing the armed nuclear warhead usually installed in normal facilities.
All attempts at getting in contact with Site-[REDACTED] have resulted in failure as of the creation of this document.
Discovery: SCP-XXXX came to the attention of the Foundation after chronic reports of power outages and earth tremors of unknown origin in ███████████, New Jersey. After government investigation, the SCP Foundation had been contacted and asked about its “new base of operations.”
Addendum XXXX-C: Doctor ██████ has been sent into SCP-XXXX-1 on ██/██/████ for testing after confirmation of a matching instance of SCP-XXXX-2 inside the subject. Through exploration of SCP-XXXX-1, ██████ had come across SCP-XXXX-1's standard containment vaults. Subject had caught eye of a vault with the labeling "SCP-3108" on the top of the vault's latch, and a label reading “The Nerfing Gun” towards the bottom. As of the date of this expedition, SCP-3108 had yet to be discovered, archived, and contained by the Foundation until ██/██/████. After successfully opening the vault latch with a Level 3 access key card, attempting to smuggle the object and it's document out of SCP-XXXX-1 resulted in both the item and the document spontaneously disappearing from the possession of Doctor ██████, and the triggering of the Rebirth Procedure the instant the objects left the containment area. Doctor ██████ was successfully retrieved off site and taken to Area-115 to report gathered information.
