Special Containment Procedures: SCP - XXXX is to be kept in a oak wooden box with foam interior to prevent scratching or damage to it. It is to be kept at an dismantled state when not undergoing tests.

Description: SCP - XXXX is a golden tattoo machine from unknown origin, it can be dismantled into three (3) pieces, SCP - XXXX-1 (Needle), SCP - XXXX-2(Handle) and SCP - XXXX-3(Coils and Mainbody). It has been determined that it was created between 1996 and 2003. The object appears to be made out of solid 24 carat gold. The needle of the machine has a diameter of 0,30mm and length of 13cm. The object has seemingly an endless amount of ink despite the lack of any kind of reservoir. Any attempt to extract the ink from SCP - XXXX will result in instant evaporation.

The three (3) pieces of SCP - XXXX are all vital for the functioning of itself, SCP - XXXX has no effect if only SCP - XXXX-1 is used.

Anyone that is subject to SCP - XXXX get an instantaneous reaction of increased dopamine levels. Testing has proved that dopamine levels have increased with up to 2300 units from the base level. It has been researched that there is no discomfort when SCP - XXXX is being used on a subject. Subjects have been describing the experience as “The best feeling I’ve ever had”, leaning too some kind of euphoric sensation upon use. SCP - XXXX contains no mechanical or electronic parts, however it is still fully functional despite this. The D-Class personnel who have previously been subject to SCP - XXXX have requested further testing.

SCP - XXXX was discovered and retrieved when several cases of suicide was linked back to a tattoo artist, "Darren ██████", who had used SCP - XXXX in all the cases. The foundation retrieved SCP - XXXX at 01.██.████

D-Class personnel who have been subject to SCP - XXXX are to be monitored for 60 days after testing.

Further testing is to be requested.

_Test A - ██/██/███__

Object: SCP - XXXX
Duration: 25 minutes.
Subject: D-34████
Procedure: Using SCP - XXXX on a D-Class personnel.
Results: No discomfort or pain is reported, however the subject stated that he got a warm feeling, further described as "euphoric", this lasted until SCP - XXXX-1 was removed from the subjects skin. The subject later requested another test, he stated that "He wasn't pleased with his tattoo", the request was granted.
Analysis: SCP - XXXX seems to be of addictive behaviour, if this is the case is not determined yet, more tests are to be scheduled.

_Test B - ██/██/███_

Object: SCP - XXXX
Subject: D-47████
Duration: 10 minutes.
Procedure: Using SCP - XXXX on a D-Class personnel.
Results: No pain is reported, the same "euphoric" feeling is described, the subject requested for an additional twenty (20) minutes of testing. Further describing the touch of SCP - XXXX as "the best feeling, I have ever experienced". Later the subject also requested for more tests to be done. This request was rejected.
Analysis: It is determined that SCP - XXXX is of addictive behaviour, several requests for further testing of SCP - XXXX have been made by D-Class personnel soon after the initial testing.

Addendum

It has been reported that the pain reflex of all test subjects has been replaced with the same "euphoric" feeling explained in the previous tests. This was discovered when a D-Class subject was put into the "Femur Breaker" during a containment breach where SCP - 106 breached, the subjects reaction was a warm laughter, seemingly reflecting joy.

All test subjects who were tested with SCP - XXXX are now deceased, cause being self mutilation and suicide.

It has been requested to use SCP - XXXX on any D-Class who are to be tested with other SCP’s i.e SCP-162.
