Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 is to be contained in a standard storage locker inside a 4x4x4 m3 chamber. A high-strength radio emitter placed within the chamber emitting random noise at SCP-XXXX's frequency has proven to be the most effective at jamming SCP-XXXX, and has shown a 30% decrease in instances of SCP-XXXX-2 throughout Site ██.

Any instances of SCP-XXXX-2 observed by any site personnel are to be reported to the current Head Researcher, and are to be explained the basic nature as to why they saw the instance of SCP-XXXX-2. This as well applies to relevant Class-D personnel, however Class-D personnel who are not attached to research of SCP-XXXX are to be administered an immediate Class-A amnestic.

Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is a HAM radio, manufactured sometime during 1990. It is only ever able to emit long radio waves at 7.83 Hz, commonly known as the fundamental Schumann resonance.

SCP-XXXX-2 is the audio and visual output of SCP-XXXX-1. The first known auditory instance of SCP-XXXX-2 was on ██/██/████, a year and a half year after being obtained by the Foundation, reported by Assistant Research ████████ while doing a routine listening of the broadcast receiver. When a broadcast receiver is tuned to this frequency within ██ kilometers of Site X, on occasion it will broadcast a message of a prepubescent female, estimated to be within the ages of 12-15. The message broadcast varies, with some instances asking as to why they're on this frequency, however as of currently most messages consist of laughter. Typically, SCP-XXXX-2 is entirely unresponsive to communication through the HAM radio, and was believed to be entirely unresponsive, until during one testing session, Researcher ███████, asking through the HAM microphone as to why she was laughing, stated it was because "I am watching you watch me watch you, and I think its pretty funny." This has been the only instance of communication with SCP-XXXX-2.

As well, SCP-XXXX-2 has, on occasion, appeared on numerous monitor and television screens throughout Site ██, as well as LED displays and signage. It as well also takes the image of a prepubescent girl within the ages of 12-15, dressed in a nightgown, accompanied by static surrounding SCP-XXXX-2, and in every instance was reported to have been watching whoever saw it through the screen. These instances are reported to last as long as a split-second up to five seconds in duration, before fading out and the original display on screen reappearing. The first known visual instance of SCP-XXXX-2 was on the same day as the first auditory instance, reported by Security Officer X while watching television in the break room. As of [REDACTED], SCP-XXXX-2 has also been shown to temporarily manifest itself at random instances throughout Site ██. As to whom it manifests itself in front of varies wildly, as it has done so in front of the bunkroom of the Security staff, in the chambers of multiple SCP's during testing, as well as Class-D mid-termination process. As of currently, no effects, adverse or otherwise, has been reported following sightings or hearings of SCP-XXXX-2.
