Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5248 is to be contained in a 5 x 5 x 5 containment chamber with a 5 inch thick coating of steel and behind that 20 inches of concrete. No electrical devices are to brought into SCP-5248's containment chamber due to risk of contamination (see addendum 5248-01).

Once a month a team of four D-Class personnel must be brought into SCP-5248's containment cell to 'feed' it. If SCP-5248 has not been fed in 2 months it will go into a state of deep sleep before ██████████ (See incident report 5248-01). Absolutely no other personnel above Class-D are allowed within a 20 metre radius of SCP-5248. Any attempts of communication with SCP-5248 are strictly prohibited without permission from the Site Overseer. Any unauthorised attempts of communication with SCP-5248 will result in an immediate demotion.

If SCP-5248 ever breaches containment the surrounding area must be flooded with Sarin Gas. This gas should knock out SCP-5248 long enough for a recontainment team to bring it back to its containment chamber with very little problem. A containment breach of SCP-5248 may result in a possible XK scenario due to worldwide power shutdown (see addendum 5248-02)
