Item #: SCP-4XXX (I'll figure this out later)
Object Class: Keter
Nickname: The Passerby
Special Containment Procedures:
Since SCP-4XXX cannot be contained in a single room, there are select areas around the facility to recreate small disasters, reenact crimes and crime investigations, and play small radios that spread rumors. It is always attracted to these types of things, somehow knowing they're going on. A scene only has to be acted out every two to five (2-5) days before the rumors "bore" SCP-4XXX. If appearances of it decrease, a scene must be acted out. Repeats of larger disasters may be repeated every two to three (2-3) months. Variety is a must or SCP-4XXX will attempt to leave the facility and/or kill people out of presumable boredom. Leading the entity back to the facility requires several people to recreate more scenes in order to gain its attention. It is believed that SCP 4XXX knows it is being contained with fake scenes, but continues to actively seek them out as entertainment. Attempting to subdue it with any non-lethals, or traps will result in SCP 4XXX disappearing. No deaths are reported after attempts of neutralization.
Description:
The appearance is a female about 1.52 meters in height with an average build. No one has been able to get close enough to get many details, but its physical features can be observed in various pictures and paintings starting in the 18th century. These pictures bring up a general time of origin. It possesses the ability disappear and reappear at will as well as transport and teleport some objects. SCP 4XXX can teleport itself as the largest reported "object" moved by its abilities. The entity always passes by major occurrences. It's always listening, so be careful of what is said around it. Knowledge of what it does with collected information is unknown. SCP 4XXX is rarely direct and always travels alone. Confrontation usually ends with the confronter dying or the Passerby disappearing. Methods of killing involve strangulation, multiple stab wounds with whatever sharp object can be found, or a broken neck. There is always a leer on its face. SCP 4XXX never seems to rest, but there are occasions where the location of it cannot be tracked for up to ten (10) hours maximum. Earlier 18th century paintings reveal that SCP 4XXX may have been a normal human at some point, as it is smiling in the few that have been found.
