Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a sealed, windowless room that must be checked by Level 3 security personnel every 12 hours under the circumstance that SCP-XXXX spontaneously escapes.

If SCP-XXXX is no longer inside the window it is inhabiting, it is required for the personnel present in the room to sound the alarm inside SCP-XXXX's room. Class B or higher cannot be permitted to interact with the foundation's windows during this process as Class C personnel open and check any and all windows in the facility for SCP-XXXX. Upon being found, the window should not be closed to avoid risking SCP-XXXX from changing windows again (unless something on the other side of SCP-XXXX poses a safety risk). The window SCP-XXXX is inhabiting must then must be removed from the wall and placed back into SCP-XXXX's cell.

The window SCP-XXXX inhabits must be on the floor, and should not be propped up against a wall or vertical surface to avoid water or other fluids to spill into the chamber. SCP-XXXX cannot be left open inside it's cell to prevent possible dangers from exiting SCP-XXXX or indirectly causing a breach. If another SCP is found on the other side of SCP-XXXX, authorized personnel are not permitted to interact or attempt to retrieve that SCP through SCP-XXXX. If the SCP on the other side of SCP-XXXX attempts to approach or interact with authorized security in any way, shape, or form, the window SCP-XXXX inhabits must be closed immediately.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a constantly changing "door" to other universes or realities that appears in windows. First sighted at the home of ████ in the city of ██████, Idaho, SCP-XXXX was reported to appear in the homes window when open, then disappear from the window when closed and reopened and reappear within another window. The "door" to the other universe can only be viewed on the side that subjects open the window from. When two subjects are present on either side of the window and it is opened, the "door" will appear to the subject who opens the window. When opened by both, the SCP will seemingly randomly pick which side to open the "door" from.

The owner of the home SCP-XXXX was sighted in, █████ ████, claimed that he did not physically, in any way, go through the other side of the window SCP-XXXX inhabited (For an interview with █████ ████, see Audio Log-XXXX-01). However, testing on Level D personnel has shown that it is possible to enter other universes by stepping through the window SCP-XXXX inhabits. These universes vary wildly with no pattern observed, and it is possible that this SCP is capable of accessing and creating doors universes or realities created by other SCPs (See Document #XXXX-00, Event 3). Windows affected by SCP-XXXX seem to become extremely resillient, resisting temperatures similar to the surface of the Sun.

Addendum XXXX-00: Due to an incident, SCP-XXXX's entry has been updated to include that windows affected by SCP-XXXX become highly resilient (See Document #XXXX-00, Event 2).

Addendum XXXX-01: SCP-XXXX is not a garbage disposal. Please stop throwing sensitive information into it and just use a goddamn paper shredder. -Doctor ███████

Addendum XXXX-02: Level 3 security personnel who checked on SCP-XXXX were assaulted by a creature of spider like structure made of human body parts and tissue that had escaped from SCP-XXXX. During this attack, said creature was neutralized in a panicked move by ███ ████ after it had bit the two other personnel (who expired not long after). For more information on the incident, see Document #XXXX-00, Event 4.

Interviewer: Hello, █████, I hope you don't mind a quick interview as we contain that window of yours.

█████: Uhh, yeah. Go ahead.

Interviewer: So you've stated that you are a single man with no siblings?

█████: Grew up with no one else 'sides my parents, yeah.

Interviewer: Mhm, and you've moved how many times…?

█████: This house is my third time moving.

Interviewer: Right, how long have you lived in this house?

█████: Five months.

Interviewer: And you first encountered this "magic window"…

█████: Last week. Maybe a week and a half ago.

Interviewer: How did you come across this anomaly?

█████: [Giving a little chuckle] Y'know, I found it while baking cookies! Yep, ended up burning them, went to open a window and the next thing you know I was staring into Narnia.

Interviewer: You did not report this to any authorities last week. Why is that?

█████: Thought my eyes were playing tricks on me! Didn't help that as soon as I closed and reopened the window it was gone.

Interviewer: How many times more did you encounter this phenomenon before telling authorities about it?

█████: Two more times. One time was when I was trying to get into my house through the window— Was late, dropped my keys, didn't feel like putting my face to the dirt to look for them. As soon as I cracked open a window I was just blasted with this scorching heat. I only got to look into it for a little bit, but from what I could see, it looked like Hell itself! Then I decided it was the last straw when I tried opening a window this morning to get a good look outside, and instead of looking at my backyard, I was staring down a river that had dumped river water all over my carpets!"

Interviewer: I did happen to see that while I was coming in, yes. Did anything else come through the window then?

█████: Aside from a few gallons of water and what looked like a catfish, no.

Interviewer: Well, then. I think that concludes this interview.

Closing Statement: █████ ████, due to how recently he had encountered SCP-XXXX, was given amnestics and allowed to continue living in his home. Upon inspecting what he claimed to be a catfish, it was confirmed to be a member of the clarias batrachus species whose only anomaly was a set of spikes along its spine. The fish has been classified as SCP-XXXX-1 and is kept in a fish tank in Dr.█████s office.

The following document is a list of events where SCP-XXXX created apparent portals to realities created by or inhabited by other SCPs, whether in containment or not.
Event 1 - 20/10/2018

Circumstance: During regularly scheduled checkups on SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX had not breached containment.

Description of alternate reality: A vast desert of rainbow-colored sand, submerging dilapidated concrete skyscrapers of human design and make.

Notes: A breeze had come through on the other side of the portal, blowing the dust into the containment chamber. A sample had been collected and appeared to be made up of rocks in different, vibrant colors and the size of grains of sand. Analysis of the coloring revealed the grains to be covered in paint.

Aftermath: Checkup was completed as normal with no other anomalous occurrences recorded.

Event 2 - 28/11/2018

Circumstance: Shortly after a checkup on SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX had opened a portal that released an incredible heat wave that caused the cell cameras to overheat. Two Class C personnel in proper environmental suits were sent into SCP-XXXX's chamber to close SCP-XXXX.

Description of alternate reality: According to the accounts of the two Class C personnel, the alternate reality was described as being similar to the surface of the sun and that multiple buildings of nonhuman origin were slowly sinking into the celestial object's atmosphere.

Notes: N/A

Aftermath: Heat and solar winds ruined the cameras monitoring SCP-XXXX's cell and were replaced shortly after the incident. Addendum added that windows affected by SCP-XXXX will gain high resilience.

Event 3 - 04/12/2018

Circumstance: During a search for SCP-XXXX after it had breached containment.

Description of alternate reality: Inside SCP-4258, also known as "Freddy's Diner".

Notes: According to the Class C personnel tasked with finding SCP-XXXX, SCP-4258-1 simply looked at them and waved before they closed the window.

Aftermath: SCP-XXXX was found shortly afterwards once it had switched to an adjacent window and was put back in its cell accordingly.

Event 4 - 04/01/2019

Circumstance: During regularly scheduled checkups on SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX had not breached containment.

Description of alternate reality: A cavernous expanse with buildings made of crimson flesh.

Notes: A spider-like being of human flesh and limbs (hereby referred to as SCP-XXXX-2) lunged out of the window and attacked one of the Level 3 security personnel, biting them and subduing them as the second security guard panicked and attempted to reach his gun. Three bullets were shot at SCP-XXXX-2 before it leaped onto the other security guard and bit him too. Before they were subdued, they shot another bullet which pierced SCP-XXXX-2's heart, killing it instantly. Both security personnel expired shortly after the incident.

Aftermath: Checkup was completed as normal after the incident with no further incidents recorded. SCP-XXXX-2's body was to be studied by on-site scientists, who found the body to have a genetic makeup close to that of humans.
