Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in its cell, a 5 m x 3 m x 3 m room with no windows, at all times. Surveillance of SCP-XXXX is permitted only through the porthole in the bulkhead door. The porthole is made out of 10 cm thick transparent rigid plastic. The cell must be checked every hour to ensure that SCP-XXXX is still inside. The bulkhead door must remain sealed at all times unless otherwise specified by Dr. █████. Any personnel who require glasses or contact lenses are not permitted to have any contact with SCP-XXXX. Any person or object that is to enter SCP-XXXX's cell, or come into close proximity with SCP-XXXX must be thoroughly searched beforehand. No items or equipment containing glass are permitted to come into contact with SCP-XXXX or be in its presence.
Description: SCP-XXXX is comprised of two parts, known as SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2.
- SCP-XXXX-1: SCP-XXXX-1 is a humanoid creature resembling a caucasian male in its early twenties, measuring approximately 1.67 m in height. All of SCP-XXXX-1's body is composed of translucent glass, including tissue and bone structure. SCP-XXXX-1 appears to have fully functioning vital organs, although it has been observed that SCP-XXXX-1 does not need to eat, drink, sleep or breathe, and deprivation of such things has no effect on the health or behaviour of SCP-XXXX-1. Any harm done to SCP-XXXX-1 appears to hurt it as it would to a normal human, however SCP-XXXX-1 can heal itself at will by [DATA EXPUNGED]
- SCP-XXXX-2: SCP-XXXX-2 resembles a small coin or circular object of an unknown metalic substance, lodged in SCP-XXXX-1's heart. One side of SCP-XXXX-2 is blank, the other side has a small symbol on it that has been recognised as a slight alteration of [DATA EXPUNGED]. SCP-XXXX-2's position does not appear to inhibit the function of SCP-XXXX-1's heart.
Together, SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 are simply referred to as SCP-XXXX. If SCP-XXXX comes into contact with any glass substance, the glass immediately shatters into tiny shards, SCP-XXXX is then able to form the glass into any shape it wants. It does not need to remain in contact with the glass once it has been shattered, and can control it as long as it maintains line of sight. SCP-XXXX cannot control any glass that it has not first shattered by touching. It is unknown whether this ability works on any other substances. There are currently two objects created by SCP-XXXX in the foundation's possession, labelled SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B.
- SCP-XXXX-A: SCP-XXXX-A was discovered in the same location as SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-A is a glass statue approximately 32 cm tall. It has been identified by facial recognition as a replica of █████ ██████, a 21 year old female who is suspected to have known ██████ ████ before his disappearance. SCP-XXXX-1 often requests to see SCP-XXXX-A, simply referring to it as "Her". When asked about SCP-XXXX-A, SCP-XXXX-1 claims that it can't remember who the statue is of, but that she is very important. When shown the statue through the porthole in its cell, SCP-XXXX-1 seemingly becomes transfixed by it, and enjoys looking at it. Whenever SCP-XXXX-A is taken away from its sight, SCP-XXXX-1 will enter a state of extreme depression and agitation that can last for weeks, and has been observed to spend days without rest standing at its door pleading to be shown the statue again. SCP-XXXX-1 is unaware that the foundation has already identified the person whom the statue resembles.
- SCP-XXXX-B: SCP-XXXX-B is the glass knife with which SCP-XXXX attempted to defend itself during its capture. The blade is 20 cm long and 4.5 cm wide. It is extremely sharp, the point of the blade being just 3 μm thick. The knife was able to very easily slice through the armour of the personnel trying to contain SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX-1 has been observed pacing its cell and muttering in an incomprehensible language, sleeping or sitting in silence in the corner of its cell. It appears to have human-like intelligence and can fluently speak English. Aside from interviews with Dr. █████, there is little recorded communication between SCP-XXXX-1 and site personnel. SCP-XXXX-1 often yells at those passing by its cell, however personnel have been instructed to ignore it.
SCP-XXXX was discovered in an abandoned apartment building in ████, Western Australia by local police, who were there investigating reports of strange noises and screaming coming from the building. It was found in a room on the third floor. All of the windows had been shattered and there was reportedly broken glass all over the ground. According to the officers who found it, SCP-XXXX was initially non-hostile towards the officers, who referred to it as a 'glass guy' to their superiors. However, when they tried to restrain SCP-XXXX, it resisted and killed one of the officers with a glass knife. The SCP foundation was called in, and two personnel were also killed before SCP-XXXX was successfully restrained and transferred to a secure location. All officers involved had their memories wiped, and all records and traces of SCP-XXXX's existence were erased. SCP-XXXX-1 claims to have no memory of anything prior to these events.
Audio log from Interview XXXX-1:
Interviewer: Dr. █████
Interviewed: SCP-XXXX
[SCP-XXXX is placed in a room containing nothing but a table, two chairs and an audio recording device that has been checked for traces of glass. The subject is handcuffed to the table and its legs and torso are tied to the chair. The only other people in the room are Dr. █████ and two guards.]

[3rd of April 20██, ██:██ ████ Time]
Dr. █████: SCP-XXXX, do you have a name?
SCP-XXXX: Not that I can remember.
Dr. █████: Does the name ██████ ████ mean anything to you?
SCP-XXXX: I don't think so, should it?
Dr. █████: It is the name of a man who was reported missing on the 25th of March 20██, just two days before your appearance. For an unknown reason, he looks exactly like you. Is it possible that he was your identity before… this happened?
SCP-XXXX: I don't know, I sure don't remember him.
Dr. █████: What is the first thing you do remember?
SCP-XXXX: Waking up in that old building.
Dr. █████: Can you describe that in more detail?
SCP-XXXX: I guess… I was lying on the floor, when I woke up, I had the image of this woman in my head. She was beautiful, and important, the image was fading fast, so I decided to make a sculpture of her to remind me. I got up and ran to the nearest window and used that.
Dr. █████: So, you were aware of your… abilities, even as you woke up?
SCP-XXXX: Well, yeah.
Dr. █████: And this woman, the one you sculpted into SCP-XXXX-A, you can't remember who she is?
SCP-XXXX: No, but I know she's important. I need to speak with her. Do you know who she is?
Dr. █████: I am the one conducting this interview, please refrain from asking questions. Let's talk more about when you first woke up. Was this the same day that the police officers found you?
SCP-XXXX: Yeah, I was gathering up lots of glass when they arrived.
Dr. █████: Gathering it for what exactly?
SCP-XXXX: It turned out to for nothing because then you showed up and took all my glass away.
Dr. █████: I mean if the Foundation didn't show up, what would you have done?
SCP-XXXX: If you wanted to know, you shouldn't have taken it away.
Dr. █████: Our main priority is containment. You were a threat to the public, it's our job to deal with threats like you, especially seeing as you had just killed someone when we got called in.
SCP-XXXX: I was protecting myself and protecting the heart. I was not supposed to be contained like this. Why do you keep me here? When will you let me go?
Dr. █████: Again I must ask that you refrain from asking irrelevant questions, XXXX. This heart you mentioned, do you mean SCP-XXXX-2? The coin in your chest?
SCP-XXXX: It's not a coin, the heart is my life source. It must be protected at all costs.
Dr. █████: Costs such as the lives of my best soldiers?
SCP-XXXX: I won't have to kill any more of them if you let me go.
[There is a momentary pause in conversation and Dr █████ can be heard taking a deep breath.]
Dr. █████: If we were to let you go, what would you do?
SCP-XXXX: I would complete my purpose.
Dr. █████: Which is?
[SCP-XXXX begins muttering in an unidentifiable language.]
Dr. █████: Does this purpose have something to do with the woman represented by XXXX-A?
[Subject is unresponsive]
Dr. █████: XXXX? SCP-XXXX I demand that you answer me.
[Subject is unresponsive]
Dr. █████: We're done here, take it back to its cell.[SCP-XXXX is escorted back to its cell and continues muttering in its unresponsive state for seven hours.]

Incident #XXXX-1, retrieval of SCP-XXXX
Begin Log
[Footage shows Delta 59-A entering the retrieval site by helicopter. SCP-XXXX standing in the entrance to an abandoned building, holding a bloodied SCP-XXXX-B. SCP-XXXX is surrounded by a semicircle of police officers, all with guns pointed at it]
Capt. ███████: I have eyes on the subject. Jesus Christ, that's disgusting!
Dr. █████: Over radio, Can you describe what you're seeing?
Helicopter lands and Delta 59-A jump out, closing in on the standoff in a tight formation.
Capt. ███████: To SCP-XXXX, Stand Down. Drop the weapon and put your hands up.
[One of the officers, presumably the commanding officer, turns to Capt. ███████, confused and angry.]
Police Officer: Who the hell are you guys?
Capt. ███████: To Officer 1, That is none of your concern, were here to take that thing away where it can't hurt anyone else.
Police Officer: Hell no, whatever it is, it killed one of my men, I am not letting it get get away with that.
Capt. ███████: Trust me, you can't handle this. Let us deal with it.
[Capt. ███████ gestures for the rest of Delta 59-A to form a tight formation between the police and SCP-XXXX. The police officer relents and gestures for the other officers to lower their weapons, but still watches intently.]
Capt. ███████: To SCP-XXXX, I told you to drop the weapon and put your hands up.
