Special Containment Procedures:SCP-XXXX is contained in a 4 m x 4 m x 3 m x room with .5 m thick concrete walls. The room consists of one average bed fit with sheets to be cleaned when needed, one table, and one chair, SCP-XXXX's chamber is fitted with a ventilation system that will release a sweet scent at any time needed. SCP-XXXX is to only be "fed" when allowed for by 2 members with level 3 clearance or when complying with an interview and answer as much as is needed. SCP-XXXX has been observed to be complacent when in contact with SCP-XXXX-2 and has no recorded outbursts or breach attempts.
Temporary Containment Procedure Update: As of ██/██/██ and per Containment Committee order 0001.8123.XXXX SCP-XXXX is to be allowed to leave containment and use the courtyard and to have a consumable of choice once a day for 1.5 hours under the watch of two armed guards. SCP-XXXX is not to be in contact with any non SAFE SCPs. During this time SCP-XXXX is allowed to bring SCP-XXXX-2 with it. This is only to be allowed as long as SCP-XXXX is compliant and allows further testing and interviews.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid of unknown age or race, it appears to be a male of Peruvian origin aged in his late 60's. While SCP-XXXX appears malnourished it doesn't have a need for food but enjoys the scent of sweets. SCP-XXXX wears a worn cloak akin to that of a monk, it keeps a hood on at all time that seems to shade its entire face. Along with this, it also has a featureless face but is able to read, speak, hear and smell through unknown means. SCP-XXXXs personality seems to be that of a 60-70-year-old male, it shows forms of compassion to thing that normally would, such as small pets or children. Although it appears to get nervous and aggressive when asked questions about its self, repeated questioning and shows normal human-like emotions and reacts the same to most stimuli, side for the effects of sweet scents.
Further testing with SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX's removal from SCP-XXXX-2 have shown an inhuman fighting ability and that it is able to adapt to and predict movement and fighting styles of its opponent. It is shown to possess the same intellect as without the book and appears to know its location to an exact even when in a plane or undersea.
SCP-XXXX-2's composition is an unknown and any attempts to tear it have failed or were met with violence from SCP-XXXX. Though through testing it is believed to be over 90-120 years old of an unknown paper or leather binding. Despite its indestructibility, it is tattered and some pages are corner marked or have tears in it, it is unknown how these appeared and SCP-XXXX has given no answer. SCP-XXXX-2 had no writing inside its exactly 512 pages and has a blank-faced cover and back. SCP-XXXX can use SCP-XXXX-2 to "read" and possesses knowledge of most of past history as well as vague and minor knowledge about nearly all SCP's and about most sites. However, it refuses to answer or doesn't know about any Sites or SCP's that are of extreme importance and are deeply secret and protected. At this point, SCP-XXXXs knowledge is not considered a breach of information.
Addendum XXXX.1: Discovery of SCP-XXXX
SCP-XXXX was found near ████████ after reports of a faceless man wandering around in an agitated state, assaulting and killing those who he saw all while screaming about a "book". After MTF team XXXX was sent to contain SCP-XXXX and managed to contain him and bring him to site ██. SCP-XXXX's aggravated behavior only stopped when presented with a sweet scent, this pacification was only temporary and appears to attract and slow SCP-XXX for a short time roughly once an hour. SCP-XXXX's behavior remained the same, ranting about its "book" and where to find it, after the decision by Dr.███████ along with MTF ██, they recovered the book and returned it to SCP-XXXX. After the book, known as SCP-XXXX-2, was returned SCP-XXXX returned to a normal state and began to act as if nothing happened and as a normal human.

SCP-XXXX: Oh (pauses) I'm doing as good as I can in this facility, at least I'm now allowed an hour and a half (1.5 hours) to roam a day.
Dr.██████: Ah yes, well you are an SCP so we can't show much compassion despite your humanoid nature. I'm sure you understand.
SCP-XXXX: Well Dr.█████ █ ███████, I'm not sure I do understand, (stares at Dr.██████) how would you feel in my cell for 22.5 hours a day only to be forced into an interview with you.
Dr.██████: How-wait that's my full name, how did you- (clears throat) SCP-XXXX you are to refer to me as Dr.██████ and you will answer all of my questions with no added anger.
SCP-XXXX: (remains silent for rest of interview)<End Log]>
Closing Statement: SCP-XXXX was returned to confinement and kept in containment for the next week, Dr.██████ was then examined to see if anything about him would aggravate SCP-XXXX, more testing is needed to confirm.
