Special Containment Procedures: Site-189 has been established at the location of SCP-XXXX. Personnel are to be stationed at SCP-XXXX every three (3) months for research purposes, but are to undergo mandatory therapy before service, and if any familial death related stress is discovered, personnel are to be reassigned. Foundation agents embedded within corporations involved with satellite mapping of the globe have been successful in censoring Site-189 in order to stop knowledge of the location from spreading among the public. Due to the remote location and low threat the object poses, Site-189 is not guarded, although fitted with a silent alarm to alert Foundation agents of any security breach. As such, no sensitive information is to be kept on site.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a wood cabin located on Devon Island in the Canadian Arctic Archipelago.¹ The object exhibits multiple anomalous properties, including a constant surface temperature of -50°C regardless of heat applied to the object, and complete indestructibility. The object's primary anomaly, however, is only apparent upon the entry of two (2) human beings into it's interior. SCP-XXXX's primary anomaly is not fully understood at the time being, however, research is underway.
