SCP-4378
A small creature roughly 12 cm in height and width, with no apparent eyes. It has 4 short legs that seem to have no purpose due to it's tendency to float. This entity has the ability to absorb light, but emit darkness. It is a safe creature but subjects exposed to it must be wearing a hazmat suit. Failure to do so will result in the touched area becoming black within 3 minutes. After 8 minutes the touched area will have withered away leaving a hole. This hole continues to emit darkness until the subjects mind has deteriorated and they begin to shrivel up in to a small ball of darkness witch then goes to float around SCP-4378's neck.
When SCP-4378 gains another orb of darkness, its senses improve, let's become longer, and its darkness drags you in more and more. subjects report that the darkness pulls them to the creature and gives them feelings of depression. When the entity reaches its maximum capacity of orbs (200) it will be able to see,hear, and smell anything in our solar system. If SCP-4378 gains 201 orbs it will collapse into a black hole and it's pull of darkness will become unavoidable.
SCP-4378 has no sentient knowledge of its ability. It is friendly to all humans witch brings them closer to it and draws them into its trap.
Containment of this entity is simple. A standard cell with nothing more than a round bead to distract it from attempting to escape. The head works well when it has 0-4 orbs. 5-10 orbs should be distracted with a small fluffy ball, much like a cat toy. 11-20 should be introduced to a tennis ball. 21+ will have already escaped unless the implementation of a SCP-4378-A. The exact opposite of SCP-4378.
SCP-4378-A is the light emitting twin of the SCP-4378. Since the SCP-4378-A has not yet been contained, due to its ability to dissipate into light particles, several strong sun lamp should help distract SCP-4378.
All black holes are the remains of a SCP-4378. Most suns and stars are the remains of a SCP-4378-A. Therefore, they constantly parallel each other stopping either one from destroying to whole universe.
