SCPHOLE

SCP-#### where it was originally found.

Item #: SCP-####

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-#### is to be kept in Site-██ on a 30x30 centimeter pedestal which must be made out of one of the “safe” materials to negate its effects. (A composite made out of Silver and Diamond is currently used but may be altered in case of an emergency)
SCP-#### will be secured on that pedestal with a spherical lattice coated with silver which still allows it to be lifted up by an individual after being opened. (Now includes a standard lock to keep the ball from unapproved use)
The size of the room does not matter as long as the floor and walls is coated with a thin layer of one of the materials mentioned earlier. Any layer of diamond which is used to contain SCP-#### must be 0,5-1 centimeter thick. The room must be guarded by a minimum of two guards outside the cell and access is only to be given to clearance level 2+ personnel. For testing and transportation, a pair of gloves coated in small diamonds are available on a desk next to the pedestal.

REPLICACAGE

SCP-#### in containment.

Description: SCP-#### is a 15 x 15 centimeter spherical object resembling a 17th century cannonball. In both an "active" and a "inactive" state, SCP-#### will appear to be immune to any damage, this will be accounted for in all testing until proven otherwise.
Not much is known about SCP-#### and most of its properties are assumed to be anomilous until proven otherwise.

SCP-#### was found in a hole resting upon a diamond. Recovery was troublesome until the diamond was attached to SCP-####. SCP-#### was transported to Site-██ and remains there.

SCP-#### will remain in an inactive state when in contact: gold, silver, diamond or magma.
(Referred to as: "safe" materials.) In its "inactive state", SCP-####'s weight will be that of a normal 17th century cannonball.
It is currently unknown why SCP-#### requires those materials and if there are more materials which keep the ball in an inactive state. SCP-#### will enter an "active" state when contact with any of these materials is broken. In an "active" state, SCP-#### will gain mass immediately, how it gains mass is currently unknown and is presumed to be anomilous. SCP-#### will then proceed to fall through the ground. During its fall, SCP-#### pushes aside all material it encounters.
SCP-####'s speed and direction will not be influenced by any material except the "safe" materials.
It is hypothesized that if SCP-#### was to fall through the ground without encountering any "safe" materials until it breaks through the earth's crust and reaches the magma, that it could possibly not only make a hole in earth's crust but also tear it apart by the sheer amount of force applied to the crust, which could be catastrophic for live on earth and would result in at least a GH-class scenario.

Addendum: Tests performed on SCP-####.

Item: Thin layer of diamond.

Procedure: SCP-#### was dropped on the item.

Test Results: No damage to SCP-#### and the item.

Note: Diamond is now to be used for the containment cell.

Item: Silver

Procedure: SCP-#### was placed and later dropped on the item.

Test Results: No damage to SCP-#### and the item.

Note: Silver is now to be used together with Diamond to lower the costs of containment.

Item: Gold bar.

Procedure: SCP-#### was placed and later dropped on the item.

Test Results: No damage to SCP-#### and the item.

Note: Material not durable enough to be used for containment.

Item: Magma in an iron pot.

Procedure: SCP-#### was placed and later dropped in the item.

Test Results: No effect on SCP-#### and the item.

Item: All metals currently known.

Procedure: SCP-#### was placed and later dropped on the item.

Test Results: SCP-#### entered its "active" state.

Item: SCP-914

Procedure: SCP-#### was placed into SCP-914 well resting upon a Diamond plate. All settings were tested.

Test Results: SCP-914 had no effect on SCP-#### on every setting.

Item: D-5028 with a pair of small diamond coated gloves.

Procedure: Subject was ordered to pickup SCP-####.

Test Results: SCP-#### was picked up and remained in its "inactive" state.

Item: Multiple D-class personnel.

Procedure: SCP-#### was placed on top of and dropped on the subjects.

Test Results: SCP-#### entered an "active" state and fell through all subject. SCP-#### left a
15 x 15 centimeter hole in the subjects. No subjects survived.

Item: SCP-1162
Note: D-4206 was only equipped with SCP-#### and 2 diamond gloves and was not wearing clothes of any kind.
Procedure: D-4206 reached his hand into SCP-1162 and retrieved an old teddy bear.

Test Results: D-4206 reported severe abdominal pain upon removing his hand from SCP-1162, and then collapsed. His left kidney was missing, and all vessels leading to the kidney cleanly severed.
SCP-#### remained unaffected.

Item: SCP-106

Procedure: SCP-#### was placed on a “corrosion” spot left in the facility by SCP-106 after a containment breach.

Test Results: SCP-#### remained unaffected.

Item: SCP-409

Procedure: SCP-#### was brought in contact with SCP-409

Test Results: SCP-#### remains unaffected.
Note: A small layer of human blood which seems to have remained on SCP-#### did crystallize.

Item: SCP-173

Request denied: Just, no.

Item: SCP-682

Request denied: Are you mad? Imagine if we were to test SCP-#### on SCP-682, it could form an immunity to it, and the last time I checked, SCP-#### is untouched by anything, now we would not want SCP-682 developing that property would we?

Note from Dr.████: SCP-#### has shown to only be dangerous and useless, testing will be terminated and SCP-#### will be locked in its containment cell where it can't harm or destroy anything.
