Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be mopped using Pine-sol original multi-surface cleaner and swept with an O-cedar angler broom at least two times per day. Trash generated by the personnel located at site-27 is to be divided between organic and non-organic. SCP-XXXX is to be informed about recently assigned personnel, as well as any operation that is to occur in the vicinity or in site-27.
No anomalous objects possesing the characteristics of a COGNITOHAZARD are to be contained within SCP-XXXX. To this date, there is no way of knowing how such objects may affect SCP-XXXX, and all test requests have been denied.
If SCP-XXXX shows any unconventional or agressive behavior, all personnel within site-27 and the inmidiate area are to evacuate and denotate the explosives set in SCP-XXXX with means of neutralizing it.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomaly present at site-27, located in North Dakota, USA. The anomaly causes site-27 to become sentient. No other objects in site-27 have shown signs of being sentient. SCP-XXXX has full control of the site's structure as well as being able of creating objects within its main structure and expand or shrink site-27, adding or removing rooms, halls and even entire floors with containment cells, within seconds or minutes, depending on the size of the structure being added or removed.

SCP-XXXX has shown signs of being friendly towards all of the personnel located in site-27, and rather than being hostile towards recently assigned or unautharized personnel, SCP-XXXX will build walls and closed doors to protect itself and relay messages through screens, signs, intercoms, telling them to "Go away" and "Or else…" Yet, these messages have been demonstrated false, as testing has proven.

SCP-XXXX has proved itself useful for the purpose of containment of other SCP, as well as in the protection of personnel during containment breaches. Site director Dr. Geray made a request of converting SCP-XXXX into an official SCP operative. This request was accepted by the O5 council, and clearence level 4 was granted to SCP-XXXX.

Addendum XXXX-1 Background: The presence of the anomaly in site-27 during its construction was unknown, until one month after, when Dr. Banda began to receive daily notes on his office desk, which had simple messages, such as "Good morning Dr. Banda" and "Have a good day Dr. Banda". After the first 3 days the messages bacame more personal. The first instance of this is when Dr. Banda received a note with "You looked tired when you arrived, so I prepared this" written in it and a cup of coffee, which was not part of the cups supplied by the foundation. After this event, many of the personnel started receiving different notes and gifts.

After 2 days fo all personnel receiving different gifts and notes, it was determined that all of the personnel were to be questioned in order to discover the cause of these events.

On 19/08/2002 All personnel were questioned. That same day After a fourth of Site-27 personnel were questioned, a note appeared in front of Dr. Geray in the interrogation room. Said note had written in it: "It was me! I just wanted everyone to have a nice day. I don't have a name, but you can call me as you please!". After this note was delivered a deep investigation of the site began, led by Dr. Banda and the security staff.

After a few hours into the investigation a message through the intercom of the site was relayed to everyone, this was the first instance of the personnel hearing SCP-XXXX androgynous voice. The voice said "You won't find me, because you're looking inside me!" After this message, it was determined that site-27 was a sentient anomaly. Evacuation was ordered immediatly.

Addendum XXXX-2:

+ Interview 20/08/2002

Interviewed: SCP-XXXX

Interviewer: Dr. Banda

Foreword: After being confirmed that SCP-XXXX can talk, it was determined by site directorDr. Geray, that getting as much information from it was a priority, Dr. Banda volunteered and was sent along with Mobile Task Force Apollo-4 "Chamleons" into site-27.

SCP-XXXX: Why has everyone left? I'm sorry if I scared you, I didn't mean in it. I mean, when I saw all the scary things that you work with here, I thought I would be the least scary thing of your concern
Dr. Banda: Don't worry, it was just, unexpected for everyone. I came back to ask you some questions, so everyone can calm down, and come back, okay?

SCP-XXXX: Okay, ask away.

Some chairs appear behind Dr. Banda and the task force, everyone looks surprised

SCP-XXXX: It would be bad manners if we talk while standing up, wouldn't it?

Reluctantly everyone sits down in the chairs

Dr. Banda: Okay, i'm gonna begin now. How did you give us the notes, and the chairs?

SCP-XXXX: That one's easy! I made them.

Dr. Banda: Right, but how did you make them?

SCP-XXXX: I just make them appear. Being honest, i'm as confused as you, I mean, a month ago I didn't even know how to talk, or write, or the concept of words.

Dr. Banda: How did you learn to talk and write?

SCP-XXXX: By listening all of you talk and seeing you write! I eventually realized I know everything going on inside me, but sometimes its too many things to remember.

Dr. Banda: So you know about the rest of the foundation?

SCP-XXXX: Yes, I learned everything thanks to all the reports, emails, audiologs and videologs!

Dr. Banda: So you know everything about us?

SCP-XXXX: Yes, well, only what I remember.

Dr. Banda: Alright, what are your intentions with us?

SCP-XXXX: You're my friends! or at least I consider you my friends, I dunno if you consider me… (Low mumbling is heard, as if it was talking to itself)

Dr. Banda: What was that? can you repeat it?

SCP-XXXX: Oh! nothing. Where was I? Oh right, my intentions. I consider you my friends, and I want to help you, it's just, you are all such nice people! But between you and me, those guys in the black uniforms and the guns that are sitting beside you, well, they make me uncomfortable, but I think that if I can get to know them, they'll be nice guys too!

Dr. Banda: Okay, I think that'll do, thank you.

As Dr. Banda and the mobile task force stand up, the chairs disappear and the doors leading to the exit open
SCP-XXXX: You're welcome! I hope to see you soon again!

Closing Statement: After assesing the interview, and SCP-XXXX's recent actions, Dr. Geray decided that the site was to continue its regular functions, with an evacuation route planned and marked with explosives, in case SCP-XXXX changed its intentions towards the personnel.

Addendum XXXX-3:

+ Experimental weapon manufacturing

Subject: SCP-XXXX

Procedure: SCP-XXXX was taught about the various internal mechanisms inside fire arms, working from basic to complex weaponry, until it could assemble experimental weaponry..
Results: SCP-XXXX is now able to manufacture weapons. However, this process is tedious for SCP-XXXX, so more complex weapons can take up to a week to produce. Although SCP-XXXX can now create weaponry, anything which it creates fizzles out of existence once it leaves the interior of SCP-XXXX. The experiment has been classified as a failure. No testing of SCP-XXXX generated objects are to be conducted until further notice.

Analysis: No object created by SCP-XXXX is able to leave its main structure, the dissolving itself is harmless. With this results, experimentation with the detachments of rooms from SCP-XXXX's main structure is required.

+ Room detachment experimentation

Subject: SCP-XXXX

Procedure: SCP-XXXX detached an unmaned room of the facility connected by a hallway. Video cameras were set up inside the room for visual record.

Results: SCP-XXXX detached the room, and declared that it had no control over it, nor could it sense it. Connection with the cameras was impossible. SCP-XXXX was asked to try and reattach the room, which was succesfully done. The video recorded showed the room with no changes, other than the lights were flickering.

Analisys: Upon seeing no major changes in the room, testing for alternate containment procedures is required.

+ Room detachment experimentation-B 

Subject: SCP-XXXX

Procedure: SCP-XXXX was asked to detach a room containing D-1192 and D-1345, who were equipped with video cameras and microphones, and instructed with exploring the room as well as opening the door it had.

Results: After 6 minutes of detachment, subject D-1192 was found in the facility and aprehended by the facility security staff. After 10 minutes, SCP-XXXX was asked to reattach the room. This time, the reattachment presented some difficuties, with the door not being alligned correctly to the hallway. Subject D-1345 was retrieved from the room. Video and audio recording revealed that upon opening the door, D-1192 and D-1345 found themselves in the middle of an abyss, which has been labeled as SCP-XXXX-1. Audio and video recordings also revealed that D-1192 jumped with the hopes of landing in another place or escaping the facility while D-1345 stayed put. A request of termination for attempted escape for D-1192 was sent. The request is still pending.

Analisys: Due to SCP-XXXX and the personnel not being able to control the room while within SCP-XXXX-1. Alternate containment procedures within SCP-XXXX-1 are deemed as useless.

+ Room creation and expantion

Subject: SCP-XXXX

Procedure: SCP-XXXX was ordered to expand itself as much as possible in the span of two weeks, creating new rooms and hallways.

Results: SCP-XXXX was able to expand itself in a radious of 2.3 kilometers, adding new floors underground, fully operational and equipped with containment cells, recreational rooms, dinning rooms, and barracks.

Analisys: With wondrous results, the testings with the creation of rooms and expasion of SCP-XXXX is to be continued.

+ Room creation and expantion-B

Subject: SCP-XXXX

Procedure: SCP-XXXX was asked to remove the surface of the complex and try to move the facility by removing rooms and recreating them in a manner in which it could advance from its previous position, during the span of a week.
Results: SCP-XXX succesfully moved away 1.2 kilometers from its current location. Difficulties were found with the reattachment of rooms, by them not being alligned correctly or in the wrong location, because of this the facility nearly suffers a containment breach, which was stopped with the help of SCP-XXXX and the security personnel.
Analisys: The process is slow and dangerous. No further testing with the movement of SCP-XXXX is to be made until further notice.

Addendum XXXX-4 Prohibited actions of SCP-XXXX:
The next list is of things SCP-XXXX has previously done and cannot do anymore, this list is susceptible for changes in the future:

• SCP-XXXX is forbidden to give any gifts to the personnel, except if its their birthday, this still excents D-Class personnel.
• SCP-XXXX is forbidden of constructing cameras at the site director's office, or microphones, or too many windows.
• SCP-XXXX cannot participate in the experimentation of other SCP unless ordered or asked to.
• SCP-XXXX cannot expand its structure in any way, unless ordered to by the site director, or in case of a containment breach.
• SCP-XXXX cannot deny acces to authorized personnel.
• SCP-XXXX cannot accept money, it has no use for it.
• SCP-XXXX cannot make personal announcements through the facility's intercom, unless given permission by the site director.

Addendum XXXX-5 Current state:
As to this day, no accident relating SCP-XXXX has occoured, and 3 containment breaches have been prevented with the help of SCP-XXXX. Personnel working at the site have become fond of SCP-XXXX and vice versa. SCP-XXXX has shown no signs of changing its behavior towards anyone, but has shown and incredible mastery at learning. SCP-XXXX is still to be supervised by site director Dr. Geray at all times.
