Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 10 m x 10 m x 10 m reinforced concrete cell at all times. Under no circumstances is SCP-XXXX to come into a 5 m radius of any metals or metal alloys unless authorised by Dr. ██████. Security personnel must only use non-metal equipment. Weekly checks for any structural damage to the cell is mandatory.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity composed entirely of an unidentified metal alloy that resembles that of common steel. The object’s extremities are greatly out of proportion to its torso and end in sharp points. These are understood to be the primary offensive weapons in the event of SCP-XXXX entering an aggressive state. The object is animate and extremely hostile towards personnel and is reported to attack primarily by impalement and laceration by use of its sharp extremities.

The object has been reported to secrete small amounts of a black, oily substance from its body despite having no mouth, nostrils, ears, anal orifice, or pores anywhere on its body. The object is reported to be hollow except for an endoskeleton that resembles rebar. Head is grossly elongated and lacking in any facial features. Torso appears to resemble that of a human female. Containment cell must be cleaned on a fortnightly schedule by a minimum of █ security personnel. Note: substance, if left on cell floor and walls for over ██████ , has been reported to cause slight corrosion. Any ventures into SCP-XXXX’s cell must always be authorised by Dr. ██████ and O5-█.

Measuring at approximately 3.7 m in height, SCP-XXXX is extremely agile and has an average documented movement speed of twenty-two (22) km/h to ██ km/h. Any and all metals that come within 5 meters of SCP-XXXX will be consumed by the entity as it is transformed into the same substance that SCP-XXXX secretes. The time this process takes depends on the amount, size, and density of the metal that is being consumed. The substance is then absorbed into the entity’s body, usually via the limbs. SCP-XXXX requires no nutritional intake and has been known to last up to ██████ without consuming any metals.

SCP-XXXX is completely invulnerable to standard metal munitions and kinetic force. The only method of penetrating the object’s outer layer or deterring the object is by high heat exceeding 1,300 ºC (2,400 ºF). Note: Incendiary rounds will deter SCP-XXXX to a certain extent if the outer layer is already weakened by heat. If damaged, SCP-XXXX will almost instantaneously attempt to regenerate its outer layer by absorbing nearby metals to reconstruct its shell.

SCP-XXXX is presumed to be sentient and sometimes capable of advanced thought. Numerous attempts have been made to communicate with SCP-XXXX, all resulting in the entity to enter a defensive and aggressive state. The object has not proven to be capable of audible communication or speech, only emitting a metallic and laboured “breathing” sound, despite lacking a respiratory system.
