Object Class: Thaumiel

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be locked within a standard Thaumiel-Class anomalous object containment locker, the code to which is to be made known to all onsite personnel of level 4 or higher. All instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be destroyed at earliest convenience, unless there is a Euclid class containment breach in progress.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a amulet made from materials commonly found within Piñatas, including cardboard, paper, colored crystalline sugar, and various mixtures of taffy, which are used to hold the object together. The object has a large red sugar crystal in the center of it, which is where SCP-XXXX-1 instances emerge from before materializing.

Any sapient entity which wears SCP-XXXX will begin creating instances of SCP-XXXX-1 every 15 seconds, to a maximum of six separate instances. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are animate entities made from similar materials to SCP-XXXX, though in the shape of animals, including mammals, reptiles, arthropods, █████,and cephalopods, as well as hybrids of multiple animals, though they possess the simplified appearance common in piñatas. The appearance of SCP-XXXX-1 instances are universally consistent for individual wearers, even if the object is removed. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 frequently possess superhuman strength, as well as high cognitive capabilities.

Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 will seek to perform any tasks given by the one wearing SCP-XXXX , excluding menial labor, even if they do not give the command orally. Despite being made of usually flimsy materials, instances of SCP-XXXX-1 seem to be as durable as if they had been made out of iron, and universally inflict wounds as though they possessed claws, in spite of their lack of these digits.

All wearers of SCP-XXXX to date have claimed to hear and be able to understand voices coming from the separate SCP-XXXX-1 instances, though all other methods of detecting and attempting communication have failed.

Testing procedures: object was fitted over the neck of dr. █████, and he was supplied one human mannequin.
Instance description: instance was a quadrupedal being, with two additional limbs terminating in claws similar to a crustacean’s coming from it’s shoulderblades. All other traits were unrecognizable.
Tested command: attack.
Results: Instance leapt onto the mannequin and removed it’s head using it’s claws, before bringing it to Dr. █████. Instance then sat down next to him, occasionally rotating it’s head as though surveying the chamber, despite the lack of any other animate objects. Dr. █████ Then removed the object, at which point the SCP-XXXX-1 instance demanifested.
