Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4271 Must be contained within a 5x5 metre box, the box must be empty at all times aside from the single object placed in the box with SCP-4271, otherwise it is to be left empty at all times unless Class-D personnel are entering for studying.
The only object to be in SCP-4271's containment cell is any porcelain figure between 15 and 20 cms tall, what the figure is, is irrelevant so long as it is a model of another SCP. If at anytime another object is in the containment cell (Other then organic matter), or the figure is removed, the effect will be lost and SCP-4271 will be able to escape with ease. For unknown reasons a porcelain figure of any known SCP, will negate all of SCP-4271s "Abilities" turning it into a regular object.
If SCP-4271 is to be moved into another containment cell for any reason, the figurine must not be removed and SCP-4271 must not leave the containment cell, instead the cell must be moved.
Description: SCP-4271 is a object of undefined shape, it does not have a shape or a body, being more similar to a ghost, but has been observed to be a small patch of gray, slightly blue mist. It will search for the nearest sentient SCP then in habit its body and control is as if it is possessing the body.
When a SCPs body is inhabited by SCP-4271, its consciousness we be moved into the body of the previous SCP that SCP-4271 was possessing, however the SCP will not know that it has been moved into another body and continue to act as if nothing ever happened, If an SCP finds its body being inhabited, SCP-4271 will quickly exit the body and search for a new SCP to inhabit.
SCP-4271 is sentient and appears to have a goal of escaping the SCP foundation, but only when inhabiting another SCP's body and when it is out of an inhabitant, it will simply try to find a new inhabitant. It is a usually a peaceful SCP, however when inhabiting another SCP, it will kill anything that try's to stop it by using its inhabitants body, but it will not harm a bystander that does nothing to prevent it from escaping.
Any SCPS that are being inhabited by SCP-4271 are referred to as SCP-4271-1

SCP-4271 escaped containment on the [REDACTED] during the containment breach several other SCPs breached containment including SCP-███, SCP-███ and SCP-████
SCP-4271 breached its containment cell and inhabited SCP-███
SCP-4271 began to find its way out of the facility, whilst SCP-███
SCP-4271 was cornered and was forced out of its body
SCP-4271 then inhabited SCP-████, it trailed its way through the facility killing ██ personnel
SCP-4271-1 was shot and it left its current host and infected SCP-███
While inhabiting SCP-███ it breached the facility and got outside foundation walls
SCP-4271 peacefully allowed its self to be contained
Since this series of events unfolded, SCP-4271 has managed to escape the facility once more leading researchers to believe that, it simply wants to be challenged with an escape tasks. Other studies have been done in which the event of a containment breach was simulated an researchers tricked SCP-4271 into thinking it had escaped containment, it simply allowed itself to be recaptured and then started to attempt to escape.
When tricked into thinking it has escaped the facility or it actually has SCP-4271, turns completely docile, even showing affection towards humans and will allow itself to be taken back to its containment cell, often appearing to be eager to get back to its cell before attempting to breach containment again.
Test A - Simulation of containment breach
Subject: SCP-4271
Procedure: The figurine was briefly removed from the containment cell allowing SCP-4271 to leave its cell. A map of the facility was cleared to allow SCP-4271 with injuring any personal, several D-Class were dressed as guards to try and impend SCP-4271s progress
Results:When the figurine was removed SCP-4271 instantly fled containment and infected SCP-███ which had been set outside the door for SCP-4271 to infect. SCP-4271-1 proceeded to follow the path of unlocked doors that had been set for it follow. When encountering 2 D-Class dressed as guards it tried to move past them, when met with resistance it promptly killed both. SCP-4271-1 then continued to follow the set path. It encountered 2 D-Class who were told to ignore SCP-4271-1, when encountering the D-Class SCP-4271-1 ignored them and continued on. It finally reached a room that was designed to look like the outside world so it believed it had breached containment. 2 D-Class were sent to enter the room and SCP-4271-1 walked up to them and seemed to be affectionate towards them. the room was set to look like SCP-4721s containment cell and it proceeded to try and breach containment, they SCP figurine was reintroduced and containment was attained without issue.
Analysis: SCP-4271 seems to have a goal of breaching containment, it will only harm people who try to stop it and once breached it will become friendly towards humans
