Special Containment Procedures: Instances of SCP-XXXX and all linked manifestations, when discovered, must be quarantined and isolated from the public via the XXXX-CS1 ("Malaria Outbreak") cover story. At least four security personnel are to be stationed at instances of SCP-XXXX (more may be requested at the discretion of the on-site director). Individuals affected by SCP-XXXX are allowed to freely enter and exit SCP-XXXX under close supervision, though Foundation personnel are discouraged from attempting conversation with any manifestation of SCP-XXXX.

When the instance concludes, a tactical response team is to escort SCP-XXXX-A to its destination. Affected individuals and witnesses to SCP-XXXX's anomalous effects are to be administered class A amnestics.

After the events of the 2017 instance, new containment procedures must be devised as soon as possible.

Description: The first known instance of SCP-XXXX was discovered in ██/██/1964 by Robert McNeil of █████████, North Carolina. McNeil first became aware of SCP-XXXX when his neighbor began acting erratically while under its effects. He proceeded to notify local law enforcement. A Foundation plant in ██████ secured the instance and administered class A amnestics to all involved once relevant information spread to their location.

SCP-XXXX is an anomalous series of events that may manifest in most artificial structures. Structures affected by SCP-XXXX that have been discovered and contained by the Foundation share some attributes, but it is currently unknown whether these attributes are constant across all instances. They include:

• The structure has more than 150 square meters of floor space.
• The structure has at least two or more floors.
• The structure was built at least 60 years prior to the instance occurring.
• The structure was built in the United States.
• The structure is unoccupied.

The sequence of events SCP-XXXX manifests are listed below:

1. SCP-XXXX-A arrives at the host structure. SCP-XXXX-A is an 1971 Ford Pickup showing considerable signs of age and wear. The license plate reads "MOVRS" and has no other traditional markings, such as a state identifier. Other than the circumstances of its arrival and exit (in which it has been observed to drive autonomously) it has no anomalous qualities.

2. 5 individuals residing within a 5 mile radius of the instance drive their vehicles (if available) to the host structure. The selection of individuals appears to be completely random aside from proximity. Those affected by SCP-XXXX in this way become unresponsive to outside stimuli.

3. The individuals brought to the active instance of SCP-XXXX begin loading SCP-XXXX-A and all of their vehicles with items retrieved from the host structure. These items are not accessible or visible within the host structure prior to an instance of SCP-XXXX occurring. If spoken to, those under control of SCP-XXXX respond with various iterations of the phrase "It's moving day," in a cheerful tone. Agents that have attempted to enter the host structure during this phase have been [DATA REDACTED] at a subatomic level.

4. The moment every vehicle brought to SCP-XXXX is filled to capacity, a sinkhole opens, also within a 5 mile radius of the instance. SCP-XXXX-A begins to drive towards the sinkhole, taking the most direct route possible while obeying traffic laws. SCP-XXXX-B-1 through 5 enter their respective vehicles and follow behind SCP-XXXX-A. Any attempts to stop a manifestation from reaching its destination results in the [DATA REDACTED] of those involved. Once all manifestations of SCP-XXXX have reached the sinkhole, the individuals under control of SCP-XXXX exit their vehicles and push them, alongside SCP-XXXX-A, into the hole. There are no indicators of any vehicle reaching the bottom.

5. The instance of SCP-XXXX concludes. The sinkhole closes, the host structure becomes accessible to outside sources, affected individuals regain their autonomy, with acute amnesia related to their interactions with SCP-XXXX.

+ Instance Record 1967

Host Structure: An unoccupied two-story duplex in █████, Nebraska.
Items Retrieved: 26 cardboard boxes, 7 miscellaneous pieces of furniture, 15 pieces of hand-thrown pottery, 3 clay cubes roughly 5.7 cubic meters in volume, and a clay statue of an unknown 50 to 60 year old male.
Conclusion: Unaware of the effects of this stage of SCP-XXXX, Foundation agents moved to create a roadblock in an attempt to stop SCP-XXXX-A from reaching the sinkhole. Upon SCP-XXXX-A's arrival, [DATA REDACTED]. The agent's vehicles were similarly "unspooled." The instance concluded as described above, with the disposal of retrieved objects into the sinkhole.

+ Instance Record 1971

Host Structure: An abandoned two-story storage facility in ████, Idaho.
Items Retrieved: 4 flattened cardboard boxes, 2 cardboard boxes containing expired food items, a glass jar full of pennies, and 126 stuffed animals of various brand, type, and condition.
Conclusion: The instance concluded without Foundation interference, aside from monitoring and containing the event. Agent ███████ expressed concern over one of the stuffed animals, stating that it was the same one he was given at age 5. The animal in question, a crocodile, was not retrieved for research.

+ Instance Record 1973

Host Structure: A recently vacant three-story prefabricated home in ███████, Wyoming.
Items Retrieved: 14 cardboard boxes, a crate with a volume of roughly 8.2 cubic meters filled with M-26 grenades, 4 plates of sheet metal, and the engine of a 1956 ███████ █-██ bomber plane split into neatly severed pieces.
Conclusion: Doctor █████ recovered one of the grenades for further tests. At the point of the instance's conclusion, the grenade detonated at 5 times the force of a grenade of its type, killing Doctor █████ and ██ agents. The instance concluded as described above.

+ Instance Record 1975

Host Structure: An unsold four-story farmhouse-style mansion in ███████, Arizona.
Items Retrieved: 5 cardboard boxes containing miscellaneous shrapnel, a barbecue grill, 20 petrol containers filled with gasoline, an unidentified assault weapon, and 6 body bags. Each body bag contained a corpse matching the physical description of an agent killed in the grenade blast of the 1972 instance.
Conclusion: The instance concluded without Foundation interference. Agents ████, ██████, ████, and ███████ were admitted for psychiatric evaluation proceeding this instance after notifying the on-site director of audio hallucinations in which they heard the corpses "screaming" as they descended into the sinkhole.

+ Instance Record 1999

Host Structure: A lighthouse on the shore of ██████, Louisiana.
Items Retrieved: 5 2-ton permanent load electromagnets, 2 hanging LED light fixtures, 12 empty metal cages of various size and make, a keyring carrying 29 keys, and what appeared to be SCP-███.
Conclusion: Foundation agents contacted Site ██ to confirm that SCP-███ was still contained. After discovering its absence, Foundation agents were instructed to retrieve SCP-████ from SCP-XXXX. Despite following written containment procedures for SCP-███, all assigned agents were fatally wounded. SCP-███ was disposed of alongside all other retrieved objects into the sinkhole. It has not been recovered.

+ Instance Record 2017

Host Structure: Site 64, Oregon.
Notes: SCP-XXXX-A arrived outside Site 64's security gates. Agents ████, ███████, ███, Doctor ██████, and 1 D-class were immediately affected. The D-class personnel was immediately terminated, though Doctor ████ succumbed to SCP-XXXX's effects directly following his death. A 64/A/Black lockdown was issued by O4 command. Site 64 quickly gained the attributes of an SCP-XXXX host structure, resulting in the deaths of ███ Foundation personnel and a large-scale containment breach prior to evacuation.
Items Retrieved: Agent ████ was the sole witness to what was retrieved from Site 64 during the lockdown event. Her account is as follows:

• Hatred, 300 cubic meters of glistening meat, an eye that can see everything, 10,000 liters of blood, a crown of blistered tongues, and me.

Agent ████ was admitted for psychiatric evaluation.
