Special Containment Procedures: SCP-??? DNA Is to be kept in a 12mm x 75mm culture tube on a rack with other samples labeled as SCP-??? temperatures are to be kept at 98°F, temperature changes may be made during testing. SCP-???’s culture tube rack is to be kept on a lone counter with nothing on it in its containment area.
Under no circumstances should any staff go into SCP-???’s containment area alone, SCP-??? requires at least two staff members one requiring level 3 clearance. SCP-???’s containment area is to be regularly checked for breaches as well as in the SCP-???’s culture tubes. All researchers testing with SCP-??? must not let any contact with them and SCP-??? occur otherwise they will be put into medical supervision for the next month and may be referred to as SCP-???-1 and tested.
Description: SCP-??? is a small pinkish mass of DNA discovered after a small [REDACTED] village was reported missing. SCP-??? appears to be a virus or infection but is in fact a [REDACTED] believed to be sent here only [REDACTED], contact has been attempted but no luck. SCP-??? has the ability to take control of its host by entering through the back of the neck. It should be noted it can enter through other areas. After entering and reaching the brain SCP-??? will disconnect the brain from the rest of the body and feed off what nutrients it can get from the body. The process has been recorded and reproduced for review.
