Item number SCP 4961 at this current time is impossible to contain, but that does not mean SCP 4961 cannot be stopped. When a case of SCP 4961-1 is sighted, foundation fighter jets are to be dispatched to the location that it has been sighted in. Once foundation fighter jets are in vacinity they are to open fire immediately and try to kill any cases of SCP 4961-2.
Description:
SCP 4961-1 is a perfectly round ball of steam that is approximately 100 metres in diameter and usually about 1-3 kilometres in the air. Tests have been done and it has been found that cases of SCP 4961-1 are made of normal non-anomalous water particles and the only thing anomalous about SCP 4961-1 is the perfectly round shape, and its ability to create cases of SCP 4961-2. There is nothing the foundation can do to dispose of SCP 4961-1 but wait for its anomalous properties to wear off and for it to disperse into normal clouds of water vapour.
SCP 4961-2 are large creatures about ranging from 10-90 metres long that materialize inside of SCP 4961-1, the way this happens is unknown, after materializing cases of SCP 4961-2 will exit SCP 4961-1 and become hostile to all human life and all man-made objects. Cases of SCP 4961-2 look to be what the pilots that have been dispatched to cases of SCP 4961, say look like traditional dragons, like the ones presented in fiction all around the world. SCP 4961-2 can look like any type of dragon that has at least one tale in fiction about it. Cases SCP 4961-2 has even been said to in one case look like Toothless from the movie, How To Train Your Dragon just much longer than depicted in the film. The way that SCP 4961-2 attacks are constant throughout all reported cases say that SCP 4961-2 attacks by breathing fire on whatever it happens to be attacking. This fire has been found to be approximately 500 degrees Celcius. As such, the foundation has made fighter jets specifically made to fight SCP 4961-2 that can withstand temperatures of 550 degrees celsius. The naming of these fighter jets is underway but the current code name of them is Red Eagle.
Addendum:
There was an attempt at capturing a case of SCP 4961-2 for study. A containment cell large enough to fit it and the walls of the cell where lined in 3 metres of graphene. A note from Doctor ████████
"4961-2 might be long but its a hell of a lot thinner than I thought it would be, fit almost perfectly through all the facilities blast doors. The damn thing is making a quite racket. keeps slamming its head against the cell wall. I'm so grateful I convicted 05-14 to line the cell with graphene, I bet that thing would be loose killing us all if not for that metal."
Right after this log was recorded the captured case of SCP 4961-2 breached containment killing 30% of the facilities staff and 58% of the Epsilon 11 team sent in to terminate the subject.
Note from Doctor ████████ "Why would Doctor ████████ ever want to keep a dragon in containment without even 5 weeks planning, with the containment chamber being built in 3! The chamber was examined after the breach and was found to have multiple weaknesses in the structure."
Testing on cases of SCP 4961-2 has been discontinued until further notice.
