Object Class: SafeSpecial Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx’s perimeter is to be guarded by MTF Lambda-5. If any humans are to appear from SCP-xxxx, they are to be quarantined immediately, questioned, and administered an amnesiac before being returned to the general public. A cover story may be required depending on the duration of their disappearance. Any missing persons reports within 20 miles of the site are to investigated. If connections between the missing person(s) and SCP-xxxx are confirmed, then protocol xxxx- “Open Minded” is to be initiated within twelve (12) hours of confirmation.
Non-humanoid entities exiting SCP-xxxx are to be terminated immediately.
Description: SCP-xxxx is a set of landforms including two ravines, two farmhouses, a large field, and several smaller components [REDACTED]. The location’s perimeter is two (2) miles wide and one (1) mile in length. It’s anomalous properties manifest when a living human enters the perimeter. Upon doing so, the person, given the designation xxxx-01, will immediately lose all former memories and instead believe that they have lived their entire life in the area of SCP-xxxx. When entering with other people, they appear to know each other’s names and believe that they have known each other for a long periods of time, often ranging from three to fifty years and beyond (See Addendum-regardless of prior friendship. Recovered subjects have reported becoming quickly confused upon attempting to leave, or being unable to because of obstacles such as large undergrowth, irregularly forming pits and cliffs.
It is worth noting that SCP-148 is capable of preventing SCP-xxxx’s mind-erasing effects for a certain amount of time when worn as a helmet or headpiece. However, this has been known to cause mild headaches and a tendency to forget certain things. These symptoms increase with the duration of their stay in SCP-xxxx.
People outside of the perimeter of SCP-xxxx have reported the outside to appear smaller than the inside really is and ‘shimmer’ slightly. Additionally, humans inside the boundaries of SCP-xxxx have been unable to see any events occurring inside the area.
Addendum 3219-01: Interview with recovered male human, later matched records of a man named Samuel Pattens, who had been missing from the area for 11 months.

Dr. ██████: I need to ask you some questions about where you have been for the past eleven months.
Samuel: Where am I? What- what is this place?
Dr. ██████: What do you last remember?
Samuel: I, uh… god, I think I was hunting or something and I saw this rabbit. I started chasing it when I reached the hills that surrounded our home, and then-
Dr. ██████: Wait. there was more of you?
Samuel: Yeah, seven of us in all. Me, ████, a few others. I’ve been living there with them for at least, I don’t know, maybe… thirty-one years? Thirty-two? Feels like a lot longer than that.
Dr. ██████: What happened after you chased the rabbit?
Samuel: Well, I’d been really hungry because food had been getting hard to find because we had been giving the animals to Yasheshna but she still wanted more. And I really wanted the rabbit, I could see it scurrying out of my reach, and I just jumped over the hills and suddenly I saw this path, made out of obsidian or something, and this guy all wide-eyed who pulled out some dark slab from his pocket and and started talking into it. And then some people came, and took me here.
Dr. ██████: Who is Yasheshna?
Samuel: Yasheshna is our god, our ruler, she is everything. How do you not know her? Do you not worship her?
Dr. ██████: No, I do not.
Samuel: (agitated) You don’t? Why? I- (Samuel assaulted the interviewer while yelling profanity and had to be physically restrained by guards.)
Dr. ██████: (To guards) Take Samuel down the to the holding cells and we’ll test him soon for any possible anomalies. This interview is over.
(At this point, Samuel began to scream at the roof, when suddenly [DATA EXPUNGED] crashed through the roof, killing █ guards and injuring █ personnel.)
