Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Neutralized*1
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX has been inactive ever since Foundation webcrawlers began removing its posts, starting on [MM/DD/YYYY]. After 6 months of inactivity, its Object Class was tentatively changed from Euclid to Neutralized. Foundation webcrawlers continue to monitor the internet for its presence in case of a future resurgence. Due to PoI [name]'s expressed intent to create future anomalies of a similar nature, the web monitoring efforts surrounding SCP-XXXX have been expanded to search for posts that do not meet the specifications of SCP-XXXX but share similar keywords or messaging.
Restoration of civilians previously affected by SCP-XXXX is not considered viable at this time.
Investigation into PoI [name] is ongoing.
Description: SCP-XXXX was an ad campaign, consisting of a series of text and video posts made on various social media sites2 between [MM/DD/YYYY] and [MM/DD/YYYY]. The campaign was created by- and featured- [actual name]3, reportedly a self-made millionaire offering free advice on how to be financially and personally successful. SCP-XXXX posts contained advice regarding finance, personal motivation, and entrepreneurship, similar to other non-anomalous posts on the same topic. SCP-XXXX videos were between 5-45 minutes in length. Text posts were typically short messages which linked to SCP-XXXX videos and encouraged readers to watch them.
The anomalous effects of SCP-XXXX applied to anyone who watched an SCP-XXXX video from start to finish uninterrupted. After finishing the video, the viewer's personality and mental state would gradually and permanently shift over the course of the next week. The resulting personality differed based on the life-circumstances of the affected individual.
