The Cataclysm Sepulcher

"Sir? There's another Reminiscent at the foot of the mountain!"

A large, circular, golden door seemed to dissipate into tiny shards, which fell to the floor like ash. They smelled like melting as they floated through the air towards the rounded-rectangle bricks of the floor. After it did, there seemed to be nothing but stone wall. Except for one thing. The stone was being pushed back away to form a tunnel of some sort. Carl had seen it before, this door open and close on occasion when the Arch Warden was called. Only for emergencies. This was an emergency, right? People must have already started being devoured by those.. things. The melting could've symbolised the Heraldry City crumbling like pie. Carl liked pie.

Shortly after the formation of a tunnel, the stone wall stopped a good 30 metres away from where it had just been. As if it was being carved into on the spot, an outline of a door began to position itself in the centre of the stone. Carl shined a flashlight down the tunnel and watched in amazement as the door seemed to appear after the carving was done. Just like that. This- door had just been carved into the stone like cave art. It flung open and crashed onto the floor.
