Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be held in Zone C72 of the Site-██ Anomalous Quadropeds Ranch. SCP-XXXX is to be given a fully private stable in Barn 6E and supplies for painting should be regularly stocked. Male D-class personnel are not allowed to interact with SCP-XXXX. Bi-weekly, a foundation psychiatrist assigned to SCP-XXXX is to meet with them for psychotherapy. SCP-XXXX is allowed to interact with the other Safe and Euclid class SCP's under supervision. Should SCP-XXXX begin to show signs of distress, it must immediately be returned to its stable, and the on-call site psychiatrist paged. S█████ C██████, who will be referred to as S.C., is to visit SCP-XXXX daily and given at least 4 hours of time with it total. He is to be contained in a standard humanoid containment cell, given an education appropriate for his age, and evaluated weekly for any psychological issues. S.C. has no anomalous properties, but he is essential for preventing SCP-XXXX from becoming distressed and potentially hostile.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a large, jet black deer with solid red eyes, no mouth, sharp angular antlers, and a horse-like tail. As of 7/██/2020, it stands 17 hands at the shoulder (1.72m/5ft8in). SCP-XXXX is sapient and can communicate through art. SCP-XXXX displays symptoms of PTSD and Major Depression and should be monitored for any self-destructive behavior, like excessively scratching itself with its antlers. S.C. is the brother of SCP-XXXX and they a major source of comfort to each other. S.C. seems to intuitively understand SCP-XXXX because of their shared past and has had a higher success rate of interpreting their drawings correctly compared to other personnel. SCP-XXXX is relatively docile and friendly but can become violent and perceive foundation personnel as hostile to itself when distressed. SCP-XXXX has been observed to become more frequently agitated by the presence of middle-aged men, and thus contact with male D-class is prohibited entirely, and other male personnel must get special permission from the site director before interacting with SCP-XXXX
Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered in the woods of ███████ NH on █/██/2011 with a scattered pile of crude drawings of SCP-XXXX in varying contexts and injuries (apparently self-inflicted). The blood of SCP-XXXX was found to be identical to that of [REDACTED], an 8-year old child who had gone missing during an investigation into the family on suspicion of child abuse. Investigation later confirmed that the drawings were also those of [REDACTED]. S.C., 14 at the time, was interviewed by Foundation personnel and identified SCP-XXXX as his sister, as well as expressing a desire to not separate the pair (see interview log XXXX-1).
