Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a large air tight biohazardous conatainment uinit along with the 3000 kilograms of soil that it was acquired with.
entrance to the containment unit is to be a decontamination corridor and must be turned on before and after any and all uses of the entrance.
SCP-XXXX is to be fed a member of the suborder Ruminantia weighing between 80-150 kilograms once every two weeks.
Testing must be under supervision of the project head.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a large biomass visually resembeling Imperata cylindrica with the exception of its hue which is entirly red.
SCP-XXXX is carnivorous, its method of feeding incluudes a gas that lures animals into walking onto it and laying down in it and a paralysing agent secreated from the base of the individual leafs, shortly after it senses sufficiant weight on its surface the mass will move in a way described as "enveloping" and pull its pary beneath it's surface and begin digestion using an acidic solution that liquidats the entirety of the animal except for the skeleton.
seeds are not shown to be produced nor any other form of reproduction was observed.

Discovery Log:
the anomaly grew undetected for at least ██ months assumed to be Imperata cylindrica by the local village of ███. ██████ before reports of missing persons and animals prompted the deployment of search party of the local police department.
after █ police officers were declared missing one of which was a deep cover agent that sent an S.O.S message accompanied by a short destressed voice message to their superior, the message consisted of five words:

A plant is eating me!

MTF Theta-4 ("Gardeners") was deployed to locate and contain the anomaly.
the surrounding mountains were burned and salted and the residents of ███. ██████ were amnesticised.

██ skeletons were found beneath the the central mass of the anomaly, assumed the anomaly's pray.
Later genetic testing revealed █ of the skeletons to be members of the Cervidae family and █ were a match for the missing persons.
██ did not match any known species of Cervidae.
