Item #: SCP-X

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-X currently resides in a 3,5m by 3,5m (Approx. 10ft by 10ft) room at Site 17. It is to be brought basic forms of entertainment, such as books and music, as to maintain a base line of satisfaction. The selection of such forms of entertainment is to be rotated and changed every month. SCP-X does not require any form of sustenance, although it is recommended that SCP-X is fed at least once a day in order to keep it from lashing out.

Description: SCP-X is a female humanoid of Arabic or Middle Eastern descent with shoulder-length dark brown hair and sectoral heterochromia, presenting reddening of areas of it's left iris which is predominantly brown. The origin of this seems to trace to the same event that caused SCP-X to have dark-grey marks all over it's skin, resembling the disease Vitiligo. Those marks are composed of what seem to be a mix of cobblestone and ash. It's age cannot be traced through carbon dating of samples of SCP-X's DNA, however it's appearance indicates that it is in it's mid-to-late twenties. It stands at 167,6cm (5'6") tall and weighs 52kg (114,6 lbs). SCP-X possesses a wing-like structure on the right side of it's body along with a sharp, rigid horn-like growth sprouting from the left side of it's head. Both the wing and horn are made of the same materials as the marks on it's skin.

SCP-X, or as it refers to itself "Evelyn", is relatively hard to cooperate with due to it's cold nature toward most of those who interact with it. It's behavior has often been described by male researchers as rude, sometimes even intentionally sabotaging personnel in minor ways. However, female researchers seem to notice that SCP-X is significantly more willing to assist. Subject has shown extensive knowledge of human history, being capable of recounting events as of it had actively participated in them.

SCP-X is physically incapable of entering a state of rest. Many methods have been attempted to lessen the subject's state of awareness or feeling, including several types of general anesthetics, increasing doses of animal tranquilizer and even termination, yet all have proven to be ineffective against the effect of SCP-X. The attempt of termination only caused severe damage to the subject, causing it to need medical assistance, proving it to not be indestructible yet incapable of falling unconscious.SCP-X reacts as expected of a human to violence committed against it.
