Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be left within a cell walled off by lead-lined glass. At least two armed guards and a surveillance team are to monitor the containment area on a regular basis.

CONTAINMENT UPDATE As of 02/17/19██ extra security must be stationed over at SCP-XXXX containment area. The current commission of two new Mobile Task Forces is in progress.

SCP-XXXX must be kept within an electronic, blast-proof gun safe walled off by a thick layer of bullet resistant, lead-lined glass. In order to deceive any potential raiders, four imitation containment zones have been created scattered across Site 19. Constant surveillance must be kept of the actual containment area and the replicas by Mobile Task Force Iota-11 "Watch Dogs".

Members of Mobile Task Force Omicron-19 must be deployed at all of SCP-XXXX containment cells heavily armed and protected. Both Mobile Task Forces must cooperate fully in order to deter any raiders.

CONTAINMENT UPDATE Due to persistently attempted raids, SCP-XXXX is to be transferred between multiple Foundation sites monthly. SCP-XXXX should no longer be contained by a safe as reliable containment has proved faulty in light of SCP-XXXX-1's abilities. It shall remain on the floor of its containment cell surrounded by fifty sheets of acrylic bullet resistant glass. The same containment procedures still apply.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a shape-shifting anomaly able to transform into any weapon imaginable. SCP-XXXX's current form resembles a standard M16 rifle with several anomalous attachments such as an infrared and ███████ scope, a small ██████ blaster, and a bayonet made from an unidentified metal. The transformative properties of SCP-XXXX appear to be limitless, being able to alter into any human-made weapon to fictional ones, or weapons that would otherwise be considered impossible in our reality. Examination of the interior and bullets of SCP-XXXX show no apparent anomalous properties.

When SCP-XXXX is used on a subject, any bullet that lodges into the victim will begin to disintegrate them until they are erased, a period ranging from five hundred (500) microseconds to three (3) minutes. No pattern has been discovered. Following the disappearance of the individual, any and all information¹ of them will be nonexistent. It is theorized that the victim is actually transported to an alternate dimension, although, not enough evidence exists to confirm this (see Addendum XXXX.x).

Reports show that SCP-XXXX's effects go beyond the initial victim, extending out to the subject's immediate family. Interviews with the family of Dr. █████ ████████² reveal extensive visions shared between them of a "bloodied and violent battlefield" from the perspective of Dr. █████ ████████ (see Interview XXXX.x). Subjects report of the overall dread of the visions, compounding with clinical depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and suicidal thoughts experienced along side the vision.

SCP-XXXX-1 is a non-anomalous looking human who is memetically bonded with SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-1 has the ability to wield the transformative properties of SCP-XXXX, enabling it to alter its appearance into anything it muses about. SCP-XXXX-1 seems to have a constant sense of SCP-XXXX's location. SCP-XXXX-1 is able to "reincarnate" by transferring its soul between host bodies, effectively making it immortal.

SCP-XXXX-1, when in possession of SCP-XXXX, primarily targets military veterans³. How SCP-XXXX-1 is able to discern this fact is unknown.

SCP-XXXX-1, when out of Foundation custody, operates with a group known as the Astennu Initiative, a cult that revolves around SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX in order to achieve their goal of "Global Hudna⁴." Their existence and origin is not well known, and is only known via seized documents from raids into Astennuite bases (see Addendum XXXX.x).

SCP-XXXX was discovered along the outskirts of the Brazilian village of [REDACTED] on ██/██/19██ when Foundation personnel were alerted to a mass disappearance of [DATA EXPUNGED] people in the area. SCP-XXXX was found approximately 34 meters from the town by MTF Zeta-9, seemingly left behind by SCP-XXXX-1. Upon the first investigation of SCP-XXXX (at the time taking the form of a Lewis M1917 machine gun), it discharged and hit Z-9 Charlie on his right knee before instantly disintegrating into particles. SCP-XXXX was immediately taken into Foundation custody for inspection and potential testing.
