Item: SCP-xxxx
Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx is to be housed at Site-89 due to the flat and barren terrain of its location. A 2km exclusion zone is to be maintained around the facility. 24 hour surveillance is to be maintained by aerial drones equipped with high definition and colored night vision cameras. The drones are to patrol a 1 km area around the facility to locate instances of SCP-xxxx-b, which are to be retrieved by D-class personnel for disposal.
The facility itself has been retrofitted to have as few flat, horizontal surfaces as possible to suppress the manifestation rate of SCP-xxxx-b. This includes furniture such as desks, chairs, shelves, tables, and beds, which have been designed to be stowed away when not in use. Any instances of SCP-xxxx-b found inside the facility are to be put into collection bins. These are to be picked up every hour by D-class personnel for disposal.
The following procedures are to be performed as listed:
-All rooms are to be inspected every 24 hours.
-All ventilation shafts and crawl spaces are to be inspected every 72 hours.
-All plumbing is to be flushed out and traps checked every week.
All instances of SCP-xxxx-b found during these checks are to be disposed of. All disposal of SCP-xxxx-b is to be done by incineration.
All personnel are to use stilts in leu of normal footwear, as they have proven to be unaffected by Dispersion events. All personnel visiting Site-89 will be provided stilts and will have their footwear returned to them at the conclusion of their visit.
The three instances of SCP-xxxx-a are to be kept in the same containment chamber to minimize their area of effect.
Description:
SCP-xxxx-a are three items comprised of an unknown metal, which resemble children's plastic construction blocks in size and appearance. These blocks are the catalyst for the creation of SCP-xxxx-b instances, Dispersion events, and Building events.
